I'm quite amazed at how little Amelia knows about the actual game itself, when her voice has been such an omnipresent part of everybody's playthrough. It's such a treat to watch her truly experiencing it more or less as we all did.
That’s been the theme for all the voice actors. Watching Neil Newbon accidentally fling the gnome and just generally suck as much as the rest of us has been a treat.
I like how Bing Bong left a lasting impression on the whole cast . Every stream I check out everyone mensions Bing Bong atleast ones haha . That is such a DnD thing to do , make a little useless minion and let the party carry him around and make him a pure meme

I suspect Amelia does more remote VA work and sends her audio files to customers whereas the others usually go in studio for their work. She has a proper mic set up and overlays.

ETA: the Alabaster siblings are scourge and menace, the Sword Coast is measurably less safe for their presence. This will be AMAZING! Shadowheart's fire bolt is her high elf cantrip, so her accuracy with it works off her intelligence, which doesn't have any bonus by default. It's an easy-to-miss thing, it's still great for lighting flammable things though!

The vibe I get is the Alabasters are old money...but the money has run out and now Lucius is trying to arrange a suitable marriage for Violet to salvage the situation...and that Violet is a durge character is delicious...hush hush...here Shadowheart take this 5 gold...you didn't see anything...lol. Kudos to Jay for instructing without mansplaining!!!
Putting the RP into the CRPG made this one of the best BG3 streams I've ever experienced. The dialog between Violet and Lulu simply drew me in and had me laughing throughout the entire video. I look forward to the next installment of their hijinks.

Amelia's ADHD moments give me joy because I'm the same way and I constantly forget what I'm supposed to be doing in RPG games so I almost never finish the main quests. xD BG3 is the first RPG game I've actually finished in a looooooooong time. Skyrim is one of my most played games of all time and I still never finish the main quests. c:

Half Elf, Half Demon... I think I have heard that before! I have a friend who wanted a tattoo of their sadly departed cat, and wanted something, I assume the name, written below it in Chinese. So they sent it off to some translation place and they sent it back with an example of how it would look. And deciding to cheap out, they just used the example sent. Her tattoo says "sample" or symbols to that effect. I suppose the moral of the lesson is to pay artists.
31:35 I think one of the biggest mistakes they made with the Dark Urge was giving it a default appearance and class, that alone has dissuaded quite a few people from playing it.
tbh it says in the character description of the origin that they can customize it so that sounds like a reading comprehension issue on their part more than anything.

Nah. The thing that got the most people included me was the notion Dark Urge means evil exclusive playthrough when the vast majority (going by Larian's own stats of act 1) plays a good person at the very least for their first playthrough. I wish I picked it myself.
@@TheAssirra I've regretted doing a full custom character on my play-through. The problem with the custom is that you were pretty much born on the Nautiloid, you're character ends up having no substance at all. This stands is stark contrast from the original trilogy where your character has a significant backstory of being Gorion's Ward and growing up in Candlekeep while having a dark secret. Dark Urge is probably a lot closer to that but it wasn't really properly advertised as such and having a default character for it doesn't help. I think I would be enjoying the game more if I played Dark Urge or any of the 3 ladies. Not that I'm not enjoying it but definitely feel like I'm missing out.
@@MistyKathrine Oh same here. My character is basically a blank slate. Sure there are very infrequent times I can say that I am from Baldur's Gate but besides that nothing. Created a personal background to make it seem sense but I got all these cool characters around me going through an arc and my character is just...there. At least being a sorceress she is the face of the party to add some importance to her but I really wish I didn't hear about Dark Urge being evil only and went with that.

I'm so glad I didn't start a dark urge playthrough so I can watch a professional do it and enjoy the surprises!

I dont really watch long gaming streams but i love the concept and hope you put some clips out! Glad to at least get the channel recommended so its on my radar. Loved the game, played 200 hours in 2-3 weeks before taking a break. Cant wait to hop back in soon.

I have a friend who wanted a tattoo of their sadly departed cat, and wanted something, I assume the name, written below it in Chinese. So they sent it off to some translation place and they sent it back with an example of how it would look. And deciding to cheap out, they just used the example sent. Her tattoo says "sample" or symbols to that effect.
I suppose the moral of the lesson is to pay artists.

31:35 I think one of the biggest mistakes they made with the Dark Urge was giving it a default appearance and class, that alone has dissuaded quite a few people from playing it.
tbh it says in the character description of the origin that they can customize it so that sounds like a reading comprehension issue on their part more than anything.
@@leslieoliverii9035 Sure, but I think some people are put off by a character that has a "canon" race and class. If it was simply Tav+ with a background but no default it would probably be a lot more popular.
Nah. The thing that got the most people included me was the notion Dark Urge means evil exclusive playthrough when the vast majority (going by Larian's own stats of act 1) plays a good person at the very least for their first playthrough. I wish I picked it myself.
@@TheAssirra I've regretted doing a full custom character on my play-through. The problem with the custom is that you were pretty much born on the Nautiloid, you're character ends up having no substance at all.
This stands is stark contrast from the original trilogy where your character has a significant backstory of being Gorion's Ward and growing up in Candlekeep while having a dark secret. Dark Urge is probably a lot closer to that but it wasn't really properly advertised as such and having a default character for it doesn't help.
I think I would be enjoying the game more if I played Dark Urge or any of the 3 ladies. Not that I'm not enjoying it but definitely feel like I'm missing out.
@@MistyKathrine Oh same here. My character is basically a blank slate. Sure there are very infrequent times I can say that I am from Baldur's Gate but besides that nothing.
Created a personal background to make it seem sense but I got all these cool characters around me going through an arc and my character is just...there.
At least being a sorceress she is the face of the party to add some importance to her but I really wish I didn't hear about Dark Urge being evil only and went with that.
Wow, you know Amelia you could totally play Polgara the Sorceress in a live Action series.
It never really came up in the books but the reason Vo Wacune fell was Polgara was too busy being aggressively bi-sexual
