Wow! Simple and straight forward. Jan proceeds slowly enough thru the steps that it is easy to follow yet not so slow as to feel like forwarding thru anything. Great job.
I’m so glad I found your channel! I just made your gathered half apron for a quick birthday gift for a friend! It turned out soooo cute! I loved your video…straight and to the point! Wonderful directions! Thank you! I’ll be watching all your videos to learn new tips and tricks all winter long!
Thank you so much for your great videos, I have watched three so far today and have subscribed. You explanations and steps are easy to follow and I appreciate you breaking down the skills in ways that I can understand. I am terrified of zippers and have never made anything with a zipper but now have more confidence and will practice using your steps so that I can make something with a zipper in the near future. You are a nature teacher as I have been trying to learn how to sew for many years now and have not made much headway so far. I have learned a lot so far from your videos. Thanks!
So glad to see you back. I always learn so much from you. I love the tricks for basic sewing. There’s no one in my town that really teaches sewing. Yes, there are classes but it’s mostly bring a project and sew with others.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes, I've had to take a little break due to some health challenges, but things are getting better. I'm glad you've found some helpful information here.
Zippers are so hard for me. This video makes it seem so simple. I'm going to make another attempt this week. I want to convert a hoodie sweatshirt into a zippered sweatshirt, but have not done well with my practice attempts on scrap fabrics.
Thank you so much Jan, I really really enjoyed watching you putting in these zippers. And what a great idea of using two different coloured zips, and I really really Love ❤️ this. Can I please ask, is that double sided tape just ordinary tape or does it have to be special tape for fabric? Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for going slowly and thoroughly….I always have a hard time with zippers
Glad it was helpful.
I love learning new ways to attach zippers. Hidden zippers are my forté

Zippers by the yard is something I've not tried. I think it's adding the pull that intimidates me. Thank you for your videos

Thanks for a great zipper demo. Would you consider installing an invisible zipper in your next how to video? That's what I have issue with😮
I will put that on my list

Thanks Mags. This double sided tape disappears after washing and is meant for fabric.

Is there a trick to putting the walmart zippers back together?
I'm not sure I've tried the wal-mart brand. Have you tried a zipper jig? I really like this one. amzn.to/41dSo32
This is too much talking. Unnecessary
Perhaps you are right.
