    Chris is so good that I feel I have no frame of reference for what is good when watching him. Everything is possible and I'm just slapped over and over with impossibilities realized on a skateboard.

      Dude is like some combo of Pat Duffy;s creativity, with the speed n balls of Jeremy Wray, but also got some of that Tom Penny flow.
      He's got fookin' GALLONS of special-sauce in the proverbial tank, it seems. Good time to be alive to witness....

      Don't get me wrong, I love his skating, his style, doing the gnarliest stuff, his bag of tricks..
      Honestly though, I think #1 in the world goes to Shane.. I dare say there is nothing that he can't do..
      I've watched Shane skate for a long time, being Aussie myself..
      Whether it was his older video parts, solo released clips, Primitive vid's, basically any & all footage..
      Yet what really blew my mind was [I think] the "Diamond Best Trick - Super Crown [?or not?] 2016"..
      The one with those perfect rails that Shane absolutely, totally & utterly destroyed..
      I mean who does Switch Tre-Flip BS Lipslides.. It's crazy..
      So for me: Shane is #1, Chris #2 & Tiago #3..
      Or maybe it's Shane/Chris tied for #1 & Tiago #2..
      That's my top 3 anyway..
      [Top 5 is Tiago Lemos #1, Shane O'neill #2, Chris Joslin #3, T.J Rogers #4 & Chris Cole #5]
      {If Antwuan Dixon stayed outa drama he'd be fully smashin it, he's style was the source of all Steeze.. Period.. & also Ryan Smith ("ZERO - Dying To Live" & "The DC Video" era).. Great style, tricks etc}

    • @matt10342
      @matt10342 4 года назад +1

      Eh, I disagree. Some would argue that Nyjah has a better style because it looks more effortless. Some people don't like that though. As far as caliber of tricks, it's still hard to say because Nyjah skates more big handrails and Joslin skates more big gaps but they both obviously can skate anything. It's subjective to the viewer at that point, what do YOU want to see in a skater? Big flashy flip tricks into grinds down massive handrails? Or massive frontside flips down gaps that for me and you are just tempting death? They excel in different areas of skating. Personally, I'd say they're even, but it just depends on which style you like better.

    • @matt10342
      @matt10342 4 года назад

      Nobody can argue that Nyjah is better at competitions than Joslin though. If you go by competition wins alone, then Nyjah is the best in the world cuz he's got more professional comp wins than anybody else in the world.

    Nollie varial flip and switch varial flip at 4:21-4:28 down that massive of a set is so rare. Most people dislike varial kickflips but they can be done with style. So awesome to see these tricks being used by one of the best.

      @douglassmith6288 7 лет назад +15

      You can tell the berrics is trying to get fancier with their camera shooting but I agree with you. Less is more. Let Joslins skating steal the spotlight. No need for the actual spotlights and the camera zooming in and out or filming underneath the handrails. All of that fancy shmancy stuff ruins the art of Joslins skating and ultimately becomes a complete distraction.

    • @medeyum
      @medeyum 7 лет назад +8

      I was just thinking that. The angles of his cab flip over the 10 hubba and the feeble to back tail on the long rail drove me nuts. The shit he’s doing is so good, it’s a shame the angles don’t do his skating justice.

    • @Flips2Clips
      @Flips2Clips 7 лет назад +2

      Douglas Smith what do you think they're gonna film in the dark with no spotlights? Do you not watch skate videos where they set up lights at street spots to film at night? And as far as the zooming goes, if you notice they only zoom in as he's landing, which looks sick.

    • @Flips2Clips
      @Flips2Clips 7 лет назад +1

      kyle garlock The filming was sick, true that those two specific clips could have been better angles for sure, but there were how many clips in the video, 35-40? And of course you have to over generalize and say the filming sucks, picking out two bad clips.
