      Just remember if you are going to live on that land you buy make sure there's a good water table there meaning a well water supply , you're a smart young individual thinking about owning your own land at your age is smart and a sound investment . Make sure you also own the mineral rights on your land best of luck kay Gee👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    I moved to TN from Northern California and Central Valley. There is nothing here than even begins to compare with the beauty of California. Every single day I wish I was back home. California had cheaper, better tasting and larger food too and I spent way less on outdoor activities in California than I do in Tennessee.

    after a 35 yr career in the midwest i moved to siskiyou county. 21 acres and a nice house, life is good. lots of outdoor activities, at least 10 great lakes and two great rivers for water sports. Mt Shasta for winter sking and snowmobiling, all within an hours drive. And the people here are no different from my neighbors in the midwest, people wave when the drive past each other, and stangers always say hello when passing each other in town. Pretty much just like any small town in America. Guess what sports fans, "MOST AMERICANS ARE JUST DAMN NICE PEOPLE", at least thats been my experience. Oh yeah, i didnt mention the golf resort across the road one nine and one eighteen hole course. And if all that wasnt enought hype, maybe the name of our town could become the name of a new sitcom, Weed, Ca 96094.

      I want people to stop coming to California because they are making California so expensive and populated my parents been here since the 70’s and they say it’s been getting way worse since people have started moving here more beautiful mountains are being cut down because of the population and honestly California would look better as a western and more ranches type of state rather than city people come and come thinking it’s better but what they don’t know is that they are making things more expensive I hope people start getting the hell out of California so it can be more peaceful and I can buy a huge ranch to keep beautiful cattle and horses and have California more country type. The mountains here are way to beautiful to be filled with houses because of population I hope we don’t have to reach to that point and people head out to the more Eastern parts or up north

    Cheap land compared to the rest of CA is still going to be 6 times more expensive than that same amount of land in nearly every other state. I love in kern county. A house on 1/4 acre of land is still going to cost you 200k. I can go buy 40 acres of land in many states for 50k and buy a bigger better house for 100k. Can’t wait to not live in CA anymore.

    Imperial County = hot desert, and hot means 115 hot.
    Kern County = hot desert, and chemicals and fertilizers and smells you don't know what they are.
    Lassen County = ooops theres nothing here. but it is pretty. dont under-estimate the heat though.
    Modoc County = even less than Lassen.
    Sanber Doo Doo County = Largest county in the US and mostly hot desert and full of low-lifes in the cities.
    Siskiyou County = Happy Camp before the fire was nice, although Yreka isnt too bad.
    Cheap land can be found all over the place in California. What to look out for is undeveloped land that doesnt have a certificate from the county meaning it may need improvements before you can even attempt to draw permits to build. Also perk tests for septic, drill for well water, need for solar, no phone reception. There can also be environmental restrictions on the land and use restrictions. If you're from the city or towns, keep in mind that when you finally get your house built 10 miles from your nearest neighbor, you will be bored AF and going insane.

      @shelleygreyrealtor 5 лет назад +7

      Many investors buy in the AV. During the last recession most entry level homes were bought by investors. There are also many solar farms and it's another way to make it cash flow in the time being. If they build the high speed rail, Palmdale will be a stop and should make the land more valuable. Depending on your age it may not skyrocket over your life, but maybe your kids will reap the benefits of you making a small investment in their future.

    • @standtallvets5386

    If you move to Florida 🥵 your car and home 🏠 insurance will cost you. Home 🏡 insurance is the highest in 50 states. If you don't believe me just move here. I have been living here since 1972. Florida used to be cheap to live not anymore.

      Danny Zuehlsdorf , It’s funny how people can hate California,calling Liberals and Democrats that taxes the day lights out the tax payers and more people are moving out of California because of the Democrats and Liberals. But these people doesn’t realize that 60% of vegetables and produce comes from California,even orange juice that Florida Natural claims that its from Florida. What people don’t know is that. The oranges comes out of California and ships by refrigerated trucks to Florida,extracted and sold through out the US and Canada. Let’s not talk about beef. Texans claims they have the best beef. The truth is it’s actually also comes from California 30% of the beef. How do I know this,you ask? I own a refrigerated trucking company base in San Diego,CA and Fresno,CA. Anyone can hate California but the fact that you’re consuming California fruits,vegetables and beef. What does that say about the State of California? I also invest in real estates. I own a descent amount of apartments in Texas,California,Arizona,Utah,Oregon,Washington State and Florida. I met quite a bit of former Californians now living in these states,and the people who never been to California but hates California and its people also renting my apartments.

      Kheam Hem Cali is a beautiful State with wonderful people. These people that say they hate California are ignorant and sound like anti-American terrorist --probably neo-Nazis. Never mind those fools. You can't find a better place for agriculture than Cali. Everything grows on that soil.

      @@SirFoodie1904 I don't think they hate California per se. It's not the fruit, veggies and cows. They dislike California socialist politics.
