"The joy you are missing is far more than the scratches you are saving" Something I am having to come to grips with regarding my GMT Batman. It's true. Great advice
The weight difference from the jubilee to the oyster is considerable! Hafiz, your attention to detail and points of reference on describing key points, on the Rolex Pepsi! Is above and beyond education perfection, I enjoy and admire your amazing Blogs, thank you!
Great video as always Sir! I loved the wrist shots, they really showed off how the colors of the bezel change depending on the lighting! I am supposed to get my Pepsi later this year or early next year, and I have opted for the jubilee bracelet version, mainly because it was the countless pics of the Pepsi that made me admire the Jubilee bracelet to the point that I traded my Oyster bracelet white dial DJ41 for a Jubilee version in blue (sprung for the fluted bezel as well this time). My Rootbeer and Bluesy also already have the Oyster bracelet, so it will be nice to have 2 of each type.
Yes I feel the same way. The polished center link suggests this a watch for special occasions and not for daily wear and tear. But that’s the whole point for a GMT - Daily use. I’m sure the polished links are easy to polish though? this can be done at home. Forgot the name of the stuff I use, but feel free to message me and I’ll find out for you bro
Thank you Hafiz. This is indeed a fine watch, if you can obtain one. Your reviews are so good that I have this feeling that companies like Rolex will follow your work closely, and respond to any criticism offered. You are doing us a great service! I agree that we watch guys look at the watch before we look at the time! 😀
Hafiz, I may be early enough that the 4K version of this video hasn't fully encoded yet but the quality seems to be stuck at 360p while other videos I checked are running higher resolutions (so I don't ~think~ it's anything on my side). Might be worth checking!
Many thanks for the feedback. RUclips unfortunately can take a couple of hours before the vid is available in 4K after uploaded and processed. Can you try again now and let me know if it shows in 4K? It does show for me as 4k. Thanks again.
I bought the Pepsi Oyster I also tried the jubilee Pepsi dude the jubilee is horrible so horrendous bracelet I’ve always liked the Oyster better than Jubilee The jubilee belongs to the date just that’s it too feminine as well
@@RecordSisi hi, sorry for the late answer…the problems were poor finishing on dial and bezel. Furthermore the red and blue colors of the bezel in sunlight looked like plastic. It went to RSC to replace the poorly finished parts. I thought I would give it a second chance after it came back, but the initial disappointment always followed me -like a curse I guess.
