I can't wait to complete the set. I really enjoy these guys. Unfortunately, my Cynicus (aka Vos) had 2 small pieces break as well and all it does is stand on my shelf. I had to glue those parts back together; it's just crazy how fragile that figure is.
Acid? I thought he had a built in smelting pool, literally cooking and melting his victims alive as slowly as possible so as to draw out their torturous death for as long as possible.
Sorry to ask a lot of questions but how durable are these 3rd party transformers? Are they the same as Hasbro? Little more, little less? Does it depend on the company? Thank you for any possible answers.
Mastermind creation figures are very good and better then Hasbro in my opinion. They sre very strong and durable. I have 7 MMC figures and they are all amazing. Iron Factory and MMC are the two 3P I have. they both are amazing.
So he can't feign serving his function as a Mobile Smelting Chamber, then... Every other member of the DJD has been able to mimic their torturer functions as Inquisitors (though Tarn's method of torture is talking his victims to death; you just have to use your imagination for that one...). I expected this guy to have an empty space in his chest in robot mode, and for the large silver hatch on the rear the vehicle mode (based on the Harvester Units featured in the Marvel comics) to open up to reveal an internal cavity - that's why his larger arms are accessible in alt.mode, so he can load victims into his smelting chamber. *sigh... I am disappoint...
can someone who read the comics tell me, are the subarms just arms or he actualy like arobot in a built in mechsuit and the head up top is a fake or what?
His little tiny arms are actually connected to him. He has control over all 4 arms. If I remember correctly, he only ever used them whenever he’s shoving someone into his molten chamber. Most of the time, they just hang there. Emoting or being idle.
I think it's mostly the neck, actually. The really thin neck changes the shape of the head, in the comics he has a pretty strong neck and it sorta flows into his "helmet" a bit more. The face might be a bit too flat as well though.
@@leetri That might be it... Looking at the video in a higher resolution (my bedroom TV is only 720p compared to my computer's "screw the limits" settings) it's like his neck is virtually nonexistent when the head is turned at the end. The face too, it has this vibe of having had his head flattened somewhat between two cement walls in front and behind it. Not having anything but a "meh" face also doesn't help it IMO, Helex emotes a lot more in the comics.
I wouldn't touch any of those horrible IDW comics to save my life BUT this guy is just fantastic!! I've had him on pre-order since the first pics of him came out. Overall just a neat design plus MMC always delivers. I can't wait to get mine!!
I will love you, and cherish you, and you shall be called sMORS. now melt my chocolate.
I'm not into the DJD personally, but I could see adding this bruiser to my Decepticon shelves

Great transformable action figure, MMC classic easy and intuitive transformation. I love it, thanks for the review.
The fact that DJD models exist....that makes me incandescently happy.
They finally did it, they finally released my favorite DJD member as a full sized figure :D
Acid sold separately. :P

@@DetectiveBarricade Eh, acid, molten metal. Dissolved is dissolved. :P

Perfect Effect Warden
"A big...uh...big.....vehicle..."

@@2dbeats3d So if he lift his small left arm up, then the subarms is also going up?
@@pessie83 No, they move independently.
It never is explained if Helex, Tesarus, Vos, and Kaon have been modified like Tarn was, or if they were simply born that way.
@@2dbeats3d oh its not a decorative chest but a thing of molten metal/acid?
So he can't load up any Transformer inside of him. Bummer.
Мне интересно когда будет Ультра магнус
Helix A.K.A Mors A.K.A *BEEF*
Is it just me or does his face look a little off for some reason...?
