Fair enough about the third-party comparison. Hasbro use to give us great quality back during the Cybertron line and early movie figures but now even painted wheels are a rare sight.
This isnt lazyness, its a difference in the market. There are not as much people buying those and its more expensive to produce. They have always made the best products they could. Its a lot more visible with the studio series and Siege line which HAVE to be more expensive to have the level it had before.
** Drifts slices at Decepticon ** Decepticon: "What? You missed with all your stikes! Leave it to an Autobot to bring swords to a laser fight..." Drift: "Omae wa mou shindeiru." Decepticon: "N-NANI?" ** Decepticon falls into neatly cut pieces **
The character on the hood means "to decide", more specifically, "to make up your mind". It's missing a dot on the left side, though(proper character: 決).
Are these shoulder ball joints so shiny or there are already stress marks on them? BTW, currently figure is sold out at BBTS, I'm really impressed... $110 figure... Unless their stock was like 5 figures or so :).
@@muisverriet also if hasbro had the mold they would still manage to cock it up by not painting it and using cheap plastic. I'm still kinda salty about dark of the moon thundercracker's flimsy shoulders.
If only Drift look like this in the movies.
Rugalheid Bernstein he looks like he came out of Walmart
yeah, this figure or just it's design as a whole looks alot better then Drift's design in AOE or TLK, and any of the toys of Drift from either film.
One of rare moments baltmatrix proudly pose his figure
3:18 Before that transformation part, I was thinking "WOW, this figure's feet are tiny."
could be an awesome batmobile and a batbot if black. especially with the cloak.
And now I think I need to repaint mine. I'll have to make a cloak though, as it did not come with one.
I truly wish Hasbro cared even half as much as mastermind did when it comes to sheer design quality.
Hasbro has let us down since Age of Extinction.
Guys their figures are NOT the same price, + the siege line looks absolutely amazing. They are putting as much as they can for their figures.

@@Alzeal07 I can deal with hollowness but hopefully they can do a good paintjob to please the eyes.
This is one of my favorite exclusives that MMC has done. I cant wait to see what they have for TFCon Chicago.
This looks so great in blue!!!
Colors are Age of Extinction Drift
PrimusVsUnicron really?
I was thinking that too!
Agreed. And I love it
Yeh
This is exactly what Drift should have looked like in the movies
This version of drift really needs his own TV show I shoot you know I would totally watch it
I've got the version with the white paintjob, and I love it. Little worried about the swords lasting as they're chromed.
The paint on the handles and hilt chip off easily.
The robot off-mode reminds me of NoisyBoy from Real Steal
Atom's dance from real steal is awesome
@@djfang6183 which robot is your favorite?
The car mode looks amazing. The robot mode looks cool to.
It would be a cool batmobile repaint 🙂
Frankly, I like the other paintjob a bit better, but this is one awesome figure Baltmatrix. Thanks for this review.
What a gorgeous toy! Thanks for the review. :-)
Wow he looks dope with the cloak there, love it!

kalajel
Drift: “Kore nite ikkenrakuchaku.”
Decepticon filet, my favorite
I'd love to see something like this as a car-helicopter triple changer
that alt mode... damn. gorgeous.
Nice to see Deadlock getting some much needed recognision.
This is a cool looking Drift, if i could afford a copy of this figure i'd buy one for my collection
I want a pink and white arcee themed retool
Thanks for this, I had trouble figuring out sword storage.
This is one of the best figure i have ever seen
idw drift with AOE color
Oh man this looks sick, might need to pick it up.
He looks so cool
The swords are pretty, pretty, pretty, shinning, shinning, shinning!
Extra piece is to keep cape tied down at the waist
Crossing arms is always the most difficult pose
I prefer these colors than the original
The character on the hood means "to decide", more specifically, "to make up your mind". It's missing a dot on the left side, though(proper character: 決).
佐藤永顕 what does it mean without the missing dot?
Means the same thing, but it's an old character used in China. We Japanese never use it.
佐藤永顕 ok, thanks
Love the character
Drift ?
Badass I need to have him for my collection
nice review. Man I wish the hasbro deluxes were this good.
oh ya its almost like there's a huge price difference between them...
You said pull away from the body 😅
Didn't think that would happen literally.
This is Deadlock. Change my mind.
Are these shoulder ball joints so shiny or there are already stress marks on them?

Great review.
Are these supposed to be the dead lock colors?
No they are the AOE colors
It's based more on Movie (Age of Extinction) Drift. I wonder if there'd be a Stray** in orange and black for a Robots in Disguise homage?
Deadlock is black with dark purple and lavender-tinted silver accents.
Frankly I like the atlmode more then anything, but the robot is still pretty cool.
Kinda has a,cheator type head mixed with hotshot or rodimus
Cool figure
If I had that figure, I would keep the back of the shoulders facing the front
That concept looks like a BTR figure.
Nick, I didn't know you are a fan of Transformers.
Oh, I am.
Dope cloak. My new favorite words.
Its gundam like transformers
Yay movie version of IDW Drift
Actually it's based on drift back when he was the Decepticon known as Deadlock.
Someone please tell me I'm not the only one that sees the coloration as wal mart colors.
I can see it too.
@@meldrickedwards1785 I work for wal mart... WITH HONOR!!!!
Covered tires? A flat window? Futurustic? Ask this stuff to Hot Rod.
this man shall now have kids with car
Looks like thunderhowl
Am I the only one who thinks If the vehicle mode was all black it would make a great batmobile?
drift 219 I think so. The samurai motif doesn’t really work for a Batmobile.
so you get 2 buster swords and 1 masamune
being careful not to pop any ball joints?
you've changed, man!
Where is masterpiece Bumblebee from bumblebee movie
Kinda looks like the bat mobile xD
❤️
Why is the link taking me to the ugly white paint scheme????
Am I a crotchety old man for not giving a damn about Cyberverse?
Noisy boy here,s you ?
WAKE UP BURNING! GET CROSS Z DRAGON! yea
Because of the head crest?
Yup :D
Similar to the comic Drift.
It's IDW Drift in Age of Extinction Drift's colours. The regular figure is white like in the comics.
Yeah, I realized it later.
Anybody notice he likes to man handle all his transformers...lol... Always pulling pieces off
vehicle screams batmobile
it reminds me of kamen rider corss-z.
Op cloack
Copyright issues...LOL
floor polish remover lol
He has Walmart colors
Geez, that clothing looks like a children's toy
ugh, Hasbro, why do you always Hasbro every transformer you release? Think Takara will pick up the slack for you with high quality figures everytime?
Honestly I don't care absit Hasbro's quality figures since we have Takara to look forward to
@@alexanderray6118 Takara's QC isn't much better. Just look at LG Godbomber.
mastermind creations, we put care into our toys so hasbro doesn't have to.
It's almost like the market between them is completely different.
@@muisverriet I live in the UK. I didn't even get to see power of the primes, it's really unlikely that I'll even get remotely close to siege.
