I can tell you that in Canada it's 12 cents per km over. $3 is worth it though in my opinion, that way it's not something you need to worry about and if you decide to keep the car in the future, it'll likely be worth more then the buyout as it'll have less then the expected mileage.
Great video and I am strongly considering this car having had a brilliant i10 in the UK before. Where is your dealership? It looks amazing with the mountains in the background!
This was a very thorough video. Thank you. I'm thinking about a green apple SEL for myself. I'm just concerned that it might be too small as I am quite big. 😂 You may or may not know that if you leave the light on behind the sun visor, when you close the visor, it turns the light off due to how it was designed.
Is this car reliable ? I never owned any hyandai cars in my life , I’ve heard good and bad things , I need a new car and Hyundai venue is getting my attention due to its affordability but I have concerns in terms of how reliable it actually is
This vehicle has Hyundai's 1.6L inline 4 cylinder engine which is probably one of the most reliable engines on the market today. And by far the most reliable Hyundai has ever built. It's mated to an IVT transmission, also built in-house by Hyundai (Hyundai is the only company that builds every type of transmission in house). It's also been quite reliable. The general consensus among many vehicle reviewers is that this vehicle is well above average for reliability. I also work at a Hyundai dealership, and can say from experience here that these vehicles have been very reliable.
ngl the Fit was my choice but sadly in 2020 they were marketing them up by me I wasnt interested. Should have kept the Fit as a fleet car like most do now & improved on mpg somehow.

I got the 2023 Venue SEL (mid tier) I love it! The wireless apple CarPlay, automatic lock when I move it out of park and automatic unlock. A sunroof! My only meh about it, is the sound quality. I don’t normally have my music loud but it’s so quiet! For the streets I have it at 30 and the freeway 45. I did come from a Honda Fit and my fit sound stereo and were really good. Also, I wish the time was in the cluster. Especially since the weather is on there. Can’t see why both can’t be on there. I’m averaging about 31mpg. Granted I’m on the freeway a lot, and use sport mode when I’m on the freeway. And drive pretty fast like 78-80mpg (I’m in LA so that speed is norm) I’m curious to what I can get if I only drive normal. My Honda fit averaged about 35mpg. Now for a dose of reality - Hyundai /Kia has had a significant number of premature engine failures and Hyundai / Kia has denied warrantee claims on some of these failures. There have also been reports of oil consumption on some engines for which H/K will claim "this is normal". Most car reviewers are intoxicated by the off gassing of the plastics of a new car and ignore the reliability rating of the manufacturer - all European , Korean , Nissan , most North American vehicles fall into this category.
