about 6 months ago i got pulled over for the first time not even a minute from my house for going 66 in a 30 at 11:30 at night because i was selfish and wanted to have a little fun before i went home. somehow i didn't get arrested and they even dismissed it in court because my lawyers miraculously got the $2000 3 point ticket down to $225 with 0 points. i developed ptsd soon after this and for the next few months i was absolutely terrified of speeding or even driving in general ESPECIALLY at night. that was the dumbest thing ive ever done and tbh i def shoulda gotten put in handcuffs. that ticket really put my driving habits into perspective and realized that i could have killed someone. i got over my fears and have started to speed again but not to the point where im putting peoples lives at risk, i only go about 5-10 over and rarely, if ever, exceed that . dont do what i did and if you ever feel like going fast or racing, please go to a track, your property, or a friends property. stay safe yall.
