When I first played AC it was one of those rare gaming moments when my mind was blow away. The massive city, great combat, cool atmosphere. Everything combined to one hell of a game. One of the best games i ever played.
I seen a lot of videos of people playing these arkham games, and almost all of them have people barely managing a combo high enough to pull off a finishing move, which is only 8 hits max. Do people really find this ridiculously simple and basic combat that difficult?

I was watching the trailer at fandome and it felt like it was going to be a sequel at first but it just ended up being a game with a different play style and more of a LEVEL UP IN ORDER TO TAKE OUT THIS BOSS kinda thing. Even if WB does make a game like arkham I would just enjoy an Arkham sequel. Glad to see that rocksteady is still sticking with that universe though.

@@viziotvremote6415 it's not about the engine you're right, but the console version is capped at 30 fps, while it's uncapped on pc. So yeah, it just needs a dedicated patch to run at 60 on consoles. Arkham city and asylum remastered were capped at 60 originally that's why they don't this issue

When I first get this game as a gift I thought that this is one of those shitty games based on the comics. But after I put this game on, literally minute by minute my opinion changed, doesn't matter what triggered this change of heart, fantastic environment, combat system or a story plot. Because of this game I became some sort of a fanboy during my puberty. The life goes on, I become older, played a lot more games, but the feeling for this one particular game is the same, this is something that only chemistry can explain
Why are every games remastered ? Never felt the need to purchase Return to Arkham on the PS4 as i still think the PS3 graphics of both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City are great . Maybe cause i grew up with NES and Atari in the 80s , the PS3 graphics are still very good to this day . These games are awesome , no matter what consoles or PC you play them . Gameplay over graphics anytime for me . I still love my PS3 as much as 13 years ago ( i even play it more than my PS4 ) and dont intend to sell it anytime soon .
AC atmosphere was at its’ pinnacle for a complete Arkham series. Although I liked modernized character design of AK much more. Wish there would be 4th game made by Rocksteady which would combine the best from both.
Yeah, in my case when i fight in arlham games, i try not to do the same movement twice, anf of course not to spam the punches...i always try to make it look cool, like in a batman movie, but watching this guy playing its not satisfactory... you feel batman its not a trained man, instead he is a mad man fighting with no technique..
Arkham Origins and Arkham Knight are probably my favorites. But I found Return to Arkham (part 1 and 2) on sale on PSN and had to get them for the price of just $5. Im one of those people that its really difficult for me to go back and pick up a previous game in a series because they just keep getting better and I feel like I'm just moving backwards. But just for the souvenir, I started playing Arkham Asylum, and I forgot how crazy that game was at the time. I forgot how cool the combat felt (not to mention how much it evolved) through the entire series. I also forgot how map intensive Arkham Asylum was, and to an extent, Arkham City. I'm really glad that Origins and Knight relied more on the overall freedom of a city, and if you DID have to enter a close area, like a building, the route was mapped for you and none of that "alternate routes" business. What I appreciate the most is the experience. It's not just a game where you play as Batman. But you FEEL what it's like to BE him - you strategize, you learn to use your gadgets and develop preferences for how to use them. You decide when you can go in loud or nice and quiet. One night, I got so insanely high, that I was playing Arkham Knight and was working on taking down the checkpoints. And I messed up on one and a guy started shooting with a machine gun. Of course, I dove off the rooftop to get away, and as I was circling the building from the ground thinking of which way I can approach to surprise the gunman, I started having this weird little debate with myself along the lines of "what are you doing?" LMAO I started wondering what kind of man it would take in real life to be bruce Wayne. There's no way a SANE person would do it with that much calm as the character.

To get 60 FPS on Xbox one X and Series X just play Riddler’s revenge and for Asylum just play challenge mode only Challenge modes got 60 FPS for Xbox one X and Series X

There's a persistent frameskip every few seconds, none stop. Doesn't show in video. Very annoying. Wish they'd remaster the whole trilogy.

That’s 100% not 60fps. Looks like 45 at most. I really wish they’d make a master collection of all 3 games remastered in 4k 60fps.
On my xbox one copy the cape doesn't look that smooth and wet and it makes me wish that I could rob another copy so the gliding could look much nicer

Bought this today from best buy for $19.99. It definitely looks wayyy better than the original plus the 60fps on Arkham City is icing on the cake.
It's not 60fps it's 30fps. But you can go back to the day one patch to get 60fps, but you'll have alot of bugs.
"remastered" my ass, shame on them for milking out a 10 year out game instead of doing its fans justice.
