    Had a listen to them at Electrify Expo and they are really impressive even on flat EQ settings.

      YUP, that’s how you know they are well tuned. That’s exactly what I tell people. Thanks for commenting. I bet you met my buddy Mike!!!!

    I used to work in custom car audio back in the day also. Will have to chat more next time I see you at the track.

      It’s been too long. They days when silk dome tweeters were a thing, all about Boston 5.2, MB Quartz, Soundstream or Phoenix Gold amps, etc…. Pre kicker solobaric days. Haha.

    I have a competitor audio set up (LH) that's also plug and play but felt it was an okay upgrade but nothing substantially amazing. Very curious how it compares to the Orella. The Orella subwoofer is definitely more substantial just from looking at the physical dimensions

      Pretty sure you will see a big difference. I have already heard this from others.

    Wondering why you don’t also change out the front door speakers?

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  7 месяцев назад

      They are factory 8” mid woofers that are efficient and work quite well. In order to properly improve them I imagine you need a stronger amplifier. Those cost versus ROI wouldn’t make sense since it will dramatically increase the kits price.

    Do you have a video where I can listen to the audio with these 7 speakers installed + sub and amp? Thank you.

    • @zevcentric
      @zevcentric  Год назад +1

      We do not. That won't work out so well if you don't have these speakers anyways. You will need to find a vehicle with them installed in person to see the difference.

    I've watched a few of your videos and I really enjoyed it and I am subscribed to your channel. There was one video in particular that I liked where it showed me the process of installing the car audio.
    I am planning to purchase a Model Y in the near future but I would like to upgrade the entire speaker system. I would like to add 2 Kicker CompQ 4 Ohms 10" subwoofers to that Model Y, replace the speakers, a better amplifier, a capacitor, etc. I understand the Model Y has only 1 subwoofer space. Does that mean I would have to create an enclosed box for both tens and have to put that potentially in the back? How would you advise the best course of action? I just can't stand the 8" subwoofers anymore. As decent and good as they are, they're not a 10". And that's the same as the 12". But I like the kick from the 10" more than the 12". But 2 10s are out of this world. And that's what I would like to get in a Model Y eventually. 2 8" versus 2 10". I meaaaan, the 10's are just going to smoke them out of the water. It's not even a competition at that point, y'know?
    I've always preferred the Kicker speakers more so than the other brands. But do you think there are other brands that would sound better or perform better than Kicker for the Model Y?
    Do you by any chance know if Kicker is compatible with the fitting of the Model Y Tesla.
    If by any chance in the future you happen to do a video on this, would this be of interest to you to do for an educational video that myself and potentially other people would be interested in seeing? Installing a "high-end and high-quality" speaker system for the Tesla Model Y with 2 Kicker CompQ 4 Ohms 10" subwoofers, and other aftermarket parts. I know I would love to see an installation video for that.
    I apologize for bombarding you with questions, but I am genuinely curious about your thoughts and if that'd be something you would be able to make a video for in the future.

      This is something you will need to discuss with an audio shop. This is not our specialty. Since Orella is a plug and play system it is easy for us to share but yours is very custom and outside of what we do here. Sorry I don’t have more info. You definitely will need to create a custom sub enclosure and amp rack though. Getting a clean signal so you can utilize the factory tuner and receiver is the issue.

    Has anyone tried the audiotec Fischer system. Superior to all of this. With helix speakers and match amplifier

      LH and even the HK Alpine system just don’t compare. We have had several clients make the switch. Send me an email and I can share with you some testimony from someone who has owned both systems. The Orella amplified subwoofer and tonal quality, even at flat EQ values, is far far better than the others. Zevcentric@gmail.com. We have the systems in stock and ready to ship.

      Light harmonics and HK replace the existing 8” front door speakers with 6” woofers. This really subtracts from the amount of front bass the vehicle provides and makes the rear of the car too bass heavy due to the sub. Since Orella leaves the factory front 8”s in place, you still get great bass from the front. The upper speakers are the main soundstage and these replacements really shine. Especially since they add back the center tweeter that Tesla got rid of for some reason. Adding the coaxial speakers to the rear doors really brightens up the sound back there. Also, the other kits do not give the replacement sub any more power. The Tesla stock sub is 160w. I believe this replacement with the amp is 300ish. This is just my 2 cents. I’ll be getting this orella kit around Christmas time when my annual bonus comes in and can’t wait. I’ve done a ton of research, listened to this system and the light harmonics and called and spoken to folks in detail at each of the 3 aftermarket system companies. Orella solves all the shortcoming of the stock system and doesn’t get rid of the best stock part, the front door woofers.

      @@wantapgt This comment just sold me on the Orellas. I was looking at the hepaking kit but good point on the extra 140w for the amp.

      I have the HEPAKING kit installed and was thinking of keeping that, but upgrading the sub and adding the amplifier. Would that be ok to give that extra bass and overall sound? Or would it be better to full install everything?
