I’ve had the Viking for years now. VERY expensive, but the times it has saved me a situation of frustration and even having to get help, it has totally paid for itself many times over. Guys on site have borrowed it so many times, like when I first brought the Fein multi tool to site. Nicely done Rob.
So if you’re eyeballing your work then the DeWalt or Irwin would be fine. But for precision work, where you’ll be using a level, the Viking Arm is best. One thing to note is that the Viking Arm has a number of accessories available. They also have a long version available, where the handle is about 29” above the ground. And it comes with a bigger base. For myself, I have three pairs of knockoffs made in China. Not as robust as the others, but fine for my needs.

I imagine that anyone who needs one would already have the Viking Arm. Makes installing cabinets so much easier.

Interesting timing - The Wood Whisperer just had a video today discussing the Irwin jack.
They all got the "influencer pack" and instructions
I can see a lot of overlapping parts between the Irwin and DeWalt which makes sense since they are both owned by SBD.
