New Studio for German News Channel WELT

- On April 24th german news channel WELT launched a new studio inside the Axel Springer building in Berlin. It features a large LED wall and nine screens that can move around independently on rails.
I am from Germany and I think that the last Studio was better. But thats my opinion 🤣

Beautiful studio! I find it a bit tacky that there were gaps in between the screens at the start, but that's just me.
It seems to me those first and last screens can't be completely "connected" to the others. Notice that the first two screens are right above the curve of the bright line on the floor. Probably the screen's rails begin to curve right there as well.
There are also two big screens on each side of the studio, right? If yes, that's really impressive.
Yes. AFAIK the big screen wraps around the back of the studio (for 360° use) and is 30 metres long.

I don't really like the new studio, it looks old and un unique. The led panels? Eh, it's fine but not really a big need for that. The old studio was 50x better.
It’s going to look stunning until just one of those nine screens is half a millimetre out of alignment.

It's a beautiful set... It has the same approach as Globo, with mobile screens to reveal the newsroom, in Brazil. I wonder what was the first newscast to use these mobile screens ...

Those moving screens are a really good idea though.
LOL, I just noticed she said the studio took "three years of planning", which is EXACTLY the same thing they said on TV Globo!
@@danielqsc1 So it is! But I'm curious, because of the time. Globo's studio with mobile screens is from 2013/2014 ... Is there an even older one?

PS: Can you please make a video about "News Intros in the Philippines" (there's ANC (ABS-CBN News Channel), CNN Philippines, UNTV, GMA, ABS-CBN (AKA Kapamilya Channel), GMA News TV (now GTV), TV5, PTV, etc.). Thanks.
Also, if you want to add; There was ( not sure if it's currently airing ) a news program for kids and presented by kids and teens on CNN Philippines. Its called CNN Newsroom Junior and I think it went off air starting pandemic.
Oh, don't forget IBC (I know literally no one watches tutok 13 but it's still a news program so, eh?), Net25 and Philippine News Agency (DOES ANYONE WATCH PNA LIKE FR WHAT)

Yeah! But, I really hope that GMA News TV (now GTV) will be on 1080p HD. They always upload and live broadcast, especially on their RUclips Channel, in 720p!

Great and modern studio. The sets of desk remind me about another news studio in another European country.
It reminded me a bit of France2 I think.

In germany 20-30 Minutes between two commercial brakes are normal. But if there is breaking news they often do cancel commercial brakes at all

@@therandomdude6736 Are you shocked because that happened in a news channel, or just because it happens? Here in Brazil this is also common in free channels (not sure if that's the word for it, hope you understand :D )
BBC World and CNN air advert every 15 minutes so it's not something rare.

Ich vermute, es ist eigentlich nicht vorgesehen, dass alle 9 Screens direkt nebeneinander positioniert werden. Aber als Eröffnungsgag ging's durch.

Me gusta el escritorio aunque nada tiene que ver con la propuesta gráfica de WELT. Me parece que en, por ejemplo, el Jornal de France 2 no desentonaría tanto.
Por otro lado, las pantallas móviles no quedan mal. Me gusta como quedan dispuestas en el transcurso de la emisión.
