If GBA Luigi and Mario Circuit get into this game, they'll use this arrangement. Nice to see GBA Peach Circuit back in this game after 17 years since it's classic course debut in the DS.
You gotta love how despite the fact that music has clearly been rerecorded, it's still composed with compressed instruments just to keep it faithful, kinda like Sky Garden did with it's 8-bit style synths.
@@Pitrek1113 I briefly saw a video of a beta clip of Ribbon Road, and it had music in C major (like the 8 version starts in), but it otherwise sounded like a mashup with Sunset Wilds.
I actually like this one more than 8/DX because its more like the original theme, even if very sequenced sounding lol I'd like to see this rendition performed live on real instruments instead.
Original I thought they were going to use the MKDS BETA rearrangement do the the trumpet. but they didn’t and made a remix mix of the original version it sounds so weird just heard a high quality version of it.

Luigi Circuit is predicted to appear just next tour. There are datamines that specifically indicate it.
@@ThighFish Looking forward to it.
Luigi Circuit, as well as N64 Mario Raceway and GCN Waluigi Stadium got announced Jun 9 2023
@@Simptendo They were already known due to datamines.
@@ThighFish isn’t Lakeside Park datamined too?

The GBA isn't 8-bit.
@@ThighFish Yep. It's 32-bit.
@@GamingPlayer123 Yet at 16-bit caliber.
There are no people actually playing these tracks - all of tour's music was done through samples.
Hearing that bass guitar in high quality is so GOOD!
This sounds way better that the GBA Mario Circuit theme. This is more loyal to the original theme.
I mean, the Mario kart 8 version stayed true the beta version, which is technically the original but alright
I like the 8dx version more, but I like how distinct it makes Peach/Luigi Circuit compared to Mario Circuit
This was used in advertisement for MKSC in Japan; Sounds familiar to this one though
Thank God it's more faithful to the original. I hated the MK8 remix because it sounded so unrecognizable.
It was based off the beta version
I know. It still sucks.
Can't wait for a potential Ribbon Road remix
@@Pitrek1113 I briefly saw a video of a beta clip of Ribbon Road, and it had music in C major (like the 8 version starts in), but it otherwise sounded like a mashup with Sunset Wilds.
Unrecognizable? It's just that one verse that's changed. The rest of the song's melody is pretty much identical. Only on a different key.
Wasn't honestly expecting a new remix, but man it delivers
Mario Kart Tour has never gone this hard with it's GBA tracks before
Nice un-midi sounds, Nintendo

Turns out the 8 version is based on a beta version of the music
In a way, the 8 version is even more faithful as it's based on the beta version xd
The 8 version basically did a Sonic Origins
First Peach Circuit, and now we got Luigi Circuit!
Will admit, the course gives of Mario Golf 64 vibes.

Gba circuit in tour> gba circuit in 8
I have to disagree but it’s your opinion
I didnt expect a new remix
Me neither.

But doesn't every GBA song (other than Bowser Castle) get a remix?
@@WubbaizyShipper1 no, cheep cheep island (and shy guy beach if it would ever come to mkt) reuse the wii remix
@@WubbaizyShipper1 Only Bowser Castle and Cheep-Cheep Island use existing music from Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii respectively.
I do apologize for including the link in the comments.
Just wanted to share a fun trivia fact about the music.

one of the rare times that a Tour remix is better than 8. DS is still better tho.
I prefer the DS version of this as well.
Sounds Like the original besides the 8 version with a different key
Much of the 8 version is actually based on the SC beta version.
Sounds much more like SC than any other GBA course in Tour.
