- GUYS WE MADE ITTT!! I apologies emassively for the infrequent uploads, but IT'S DONE! My A level exams are well and truly over! I hope you enjoy this exam diary vlog from the last 3 weeks - it's been an emotional rollercoaster. ❤️ I shared a lot of the journey on Instagram as I went (@unjadedjade) and you've been so so supportive! She literally earns a living from studying, she literally got ALL A*S, and the exams STILL MADE HER CRY. An exam that was literally marked as an A* UPSET THE STUDENT SO MUCH SHE BAWLED HER EYES OUT. UK, please lets change our examination system. This sucks.
I don’t think it’s just the UK, I think most people struggle with their final high school exams. Not saying that it’s great, but I did my final school years in Germany & most people had a mental breakdown & then IB is a whole different story

What makes a good student a good student is mindset and not grades, and you have an amazing mindset. You are willing to put in as much work as you can, but you know how to give yourself wat you need during breaks. You are able to be proud of yourself when you've done a lot (this one tends to be forgotten, but it is soo important), and when things don't go like you hoped they would, you allow yourself to feel what you're feeling, but then you let go, move on, and make the best out of the next one. It is not grades that determine how for you'll go in life, but this kind of mindset, and you rock it!
You worked bloody hard Jade 🙏🏼 No matter what happens on results day you gave it your all and that means *so much more* than some numbers on a piece of paper ⭐️ AND NOW ITS SUMMER! Enjoy it while it lasts girl 😉💓💓💓

The relationship between you and Folk is honestly so cute. My brother is my closest companion and best friend and when we were in primary school we made a blood oath. Whenever I talk positively about my brother to my friends they all think I’m strange because they expect me to have a argumentative and cold relationship with my sibling as they do. I really appreciate his presence especially during exam season 💙💜
Celaena S I have the same thing with my two sisters. My friends think that everybody needs to fight and argue with there siblings, but my siblings are like my best friends. And of course we are not never arguing but we are just having a bond with each other. And then seeing how much fights and argues my friends have with there siblings about absolutely nothing. Finnaly someone who has the same!
I frown upon RUclips videos with duration more than 20 minutes. But bloody hell, I really enjoyed watching this video. I was smiling the whole time. It was really brave of you to film and post that video on social media. You're addressing real problems here. Thank you for doing what you are doing.

Your reaction to your first biology exam made me cry. I see how much time and effort you put into your studies and then exam boards just want to make you sweat and make it about time. Bloody hell it infuriates me

@@Surfing566 true true, especially since our grade boundaries are insane sometimes. If 50% is an A you won't know that until you get the results so obviously if you don't understand half the paper you're gonna be nervous as hell

Made it to the end of this video and I feel like I relived my entire exam experience through this one vlog lol, especially with biology paper 1 because that paper was absolutely terrible, but I'm glad it's finally over after months of hard work!

Hi, I'm a french student and watching your videos makes me feel less alone. Just like you, I'm a very hardworking person, but I'm also always stressed out. Cause when you work so hard, you just want to have a good grade... this year was also an emotional rollercoaster for me and I feel like grades control my moods and thats not very great for a students mental health. Your advices and your positivity helped me so much out this year. I wish you a very peaceful, fun, happy summer break, you deserve it so much Jade.
You're so real and so raw, I love this! You and Ruby are my favorite studytubers because you both inspire me a lot to do the best that I can instead of striving for perfection so I don't feel too much pressure. Your notes look similar mine and I always felt that I wasn't being as perfect as the notes I'd see on Instagram or on RUclips. The reason for that is because I can't really afford the higher end school supplies and I don't have the perfect pencil case or the perfect backpack. You guys really motivate me and I am so happy that you finished your A-Levels! I'm sure you did awesome!!!
I just wanted to comment and say well done on getting the exams done! Also wanted to mention that I'm currently in my second year of uni. The stress during gcse and A levels are ridiculous to the point where it still has a negative impact on me mentally. I can't even think back to that time without feeling terrible and emotional! I really hope there are some changes made. Well done for all your efforts! For anyone reading this please remember exam results are not the most important thing in the world and a grade does not define you! It's taken me a while to realise and fully learn this but it's very true. Best of luck x

Just remember jade that marks on exams mean nothing. What matters is your commitment, motivation, discipline that you have developed by studying as hard as you did. These skills will benefit you for the rest of your life. I hope you realise how amazing you are

I just spent four hours doing much needed extra credit work for pre calculus class, and then my computer lagged and I missed the due date by five minutes. I’m breaking down right now, it’s not even that important, but I worked so hard on it and I have so many tests right now and I’m just so sad and stressed right now😭 I emailed my work to my professor, everyone who reads this I beg you say a prayer or cross your fingers or something, I so so hope she’s an angel and accepts it❤️

Honestly efforts are more precious than results, we've seen how hard you've worked. You are a human at the end of the day so it doesn't matter if you mess up a little here and there. Besides we love you for your dedication, love and how you handle your responsibilities not because of the grades...and you actually knew the stuff but didn't realize the time went just like that!.. tbh no matter what grades you get it won't disprove anything cause you've already proven yourself to be worthy of being a doctor, engineer, biologist, rocket scientist you name it, like seriously with that amount of passion and effort you can literally be anything.

i doodled eyes and faces instead of revising allll the time - they were just so relaxing but also kinda required attention; the perfect procrastination technique!

We were told by our maths teacher that special consideration means you'll get 1% added to your percentage score from that paper. It's not a lot but I mean still
rewatching this!! seeing you pick yourslef up from a nightmare exam is so refreshing. i always find it a struggle to contiune revisng after feeling really bad inan exam. this video really helps alot, and teaches me some important lessons in motivation. so THANKYOU so much.

I only started watching your videos very recently, but they are great, and this long vlog is completely HEALING MY SOUL. i live in another country and I have been busy with university finals for weeeeeks. It's a mental path of torture I tell you, but watching you go through it at the same time oddly makes me feel better ;^^ you are so organized and hard-working, but it seems we all have the same struggles in this time.... i really feel supported watching this, and I just wanna say I support you back! I feel so bad now. When I did my A-levels (in Hamburg, Germany) back in 2012 I blacked out during my German exam and had a panic attack. Luckily I was allowed a second try. We only wrote exams in three subjects plus one oral exam in another, and THAT already felt horrible. Seeing you working for hours in preparation for your exams only to not have enough time to finish them really upsets me. I feel ashamed of myself for pitying myself back then, since English A levels obviously are a lot more stressful. At the same time I think it's just so unfair that lack of time or panic during A level exams influence your future that much. When I see how much effort you put into this, I feel frustrated. One bad day could ruin everything you have worked so hard for. That's simply not fair, and it doesn't appreciate students' efforts and diligence at all. I hope things will change :(
I have been putting watching this off for almost a month (because I knew it was going to make me cry) and finally after the breakdown I had last week I decided to finally watch this. Didn't get to the 10 minute mark before I started crying. I don't even go to school in England and still feel your and other studients panic and stress. You worked so hard for these exams! Hi Jade! Thank you for uploading this. I like how you show your feelings and don't pretend to be perfect like other study youtubers. I am a pretty good student but I struggle with physics a lot. So I also had a terrible exam even though I did tons of revision 😕 this video helps me a lot to accept that there are always ups and downs ❤

Made it to the end! I can tell some of the clips are from your instagram story haha so I basically just whispering and guessing and recalling what you have posted on it. Also, just so you know, since vpn is blocked in China, there are loads of people who have access to it constantly updating Chinese fans of RUclips videos. So yeah, you have brought motivation and inspiration to more Chinese students/people than you could imagine. Last night I did a lil bit of research and found that on average, each of your video has had more than 3000 views. I know we can't even compare it to the influence of RUclips but do remember there are thousands of people updating their followers with your videos, and if you think about it, thousands multiplied by thousands, yeah, it's just Maths. Sending LOADS of LOVE from China, Jade you have truly made my 2018 AS Level exam so much more memorable and remarkable than my IGCSE year, I wish I could have known about you at that time. I remember every morning turning on your study with me videos and everything, looking back, it's been amazing, and that doesn't happen to me a lot. Quite a long comment haha, thanks for reading x

Watching this makes me so happy because I also had a really rough time during my finals exams. I studied so much but when I would get to the exam, I would let stress get to me and I just could not concentrate. The two most important exams for me, I left the class wanting to cry. When I would get home, I would breakdown in tears. I think the worse feeling in the world is having to leave an exam because you ran out of time and knowing you could have done better. Thank you for sharing this with us. Makes me feel a lot better and like I'm not alone. Love your videos and thank you for inspiring me this year to do better in my studies.
