Good luck bro, they dont always start them. What are you gonna do when they get it in neutral and push it down the street. You need to worry about owning a garage before you own a hellcat no offense. But if it was properly put up you wouldnt even have to worry about it.
Putting a thief in jail does nothing they come out worse and keep stealing. Imagine if they followed Islamic law and cut the right hand of thieves how low crime would be in America
If I owned any of these cars, I'd buy quick release steering wheel and just take it with me home every night. Yes it doesn't have air bag in it but fuck it, I'd rather have my car. The only way they would steal it then is to have it towed which would be loud and I'd hear them and also yall need to install viper alarm and set on sensetive level so any light push and car will go off
Somebody is riding around in 08 Sxt Charger with a complete Hellcat swap. I don’t understand, why dodge doesn’t improve the security of these cars, hence why I never got one, and went with the Camaro
@@heythere6983I don't think it is, I just think Mopar is more frequently stolen. People are crazy about these cars. I mean it's the only thing 14% of theUS population will drive (you can guess which 14% I'm talking about)... Then you got everyone else..
Really? It takes very little time to D.I.Y any car to make it difficult to steal. A simple 12 voltage breaker on main line and neutral lock out will raise the odds big time. Chances are they will move on to easier hits. Time is the biggest enemy to car theft, as old as cars themselves.
I knew guys that did this stuff in the early 2000s back when keys were still being used in ignitions. There was a kill switch installed on the one they pushed out. We will garage during inclement weather but have security or employees. Unfortunately there was a 30 minute gap. They wanted them bad, these 2 cars were parked right by the front gate on the service road, so anyone driving by would have seen them.

True.

Definitely need a hidden kill switch with two different tracking devices on it and an ignition turn off remote, just like the cops do!
They will just put it in neutral
Cops leave their cars running and most often with the doors unlocked.
looks like they popped one into neutral anyway since the SUV was pushing it

Dodge issued a security update to these cars, but we’ve yet to receive it. This nonsense can be avoided.
