Despite being a Muslim country, I even saw a crap ton of Christmas supplies at their giant mall and the venders around Kuwait City. They are very friendly to westerners as well as long as you have money and are respectable to their customs.

The color scheme is a bit confusing, at least on my desktop. The color for Iraq looks like the same color as the color indicated on the right as the Sheikhdom of Kuwait, while the color of Kuwait on the map looks much darker. Something not in the red family should have been chosen for Iraq...
Pretty interesting that as an independent polity Kuwait only existed since the 1700s it seems (European principalities are earlier than that)...also didn't know it was mostly the same borders until it became a British protectorate where it then got to get more land to the west and a bit in the south (the Neutral Zone sounds a bit like the condominium territory of Abyei).
Well, that was pretty eventful for the most part... I mean, yeah, there were a few events over the last 250+ years, but for the most part, this is probably one of the least exciting history map video's I have yet to see.
Kuwait is that one country that gains land despite never fighting in wars (and in the single one it did fight it won against a country like 100x larger than it).

Because annexation means it's erased from the map.
It was annexed by Saddam Hussein's Iraq in 1990. After the Iraqis were forced out in 1991, they regained their sovereignty.
