Hope you guys enjoy this next installment on the tvr candy repaint not long now till paint time
We are so looking forward to seeing the first drop of the candy colour go onto this car. It’s going to look awesome. All the prep will pay off.
Now i see why you did it this way, as close to lazer straight as can be. Looks good.
Really enjoying the tvr series and thanks for posting them as it's not part of your job, on another topic I'm in my early 50,s and enjoy seeing what guys do to 70 to 90s cars lightly modifying them then painting them , have you any old vids along these lines I could look up , cheers jim
Just seeing a whole car with fresh primer still looks amazes me. 😂😁👌
Looking mega mate, all that prepwork shows even in primer
Awesome Tony. I just love watching you paint and marvel at your ability to paint this car with all the crevices and I must say I got a bit of a laugh when you had to crawl out of the engine bay. No runs on what must be a very very difficult task.
Can not wait to see this finished 👌 am so excited 😮
One of few i would trust with my jobs.
I found it informative how you give a Initial estimate with a price range instead of a solid or ballpark figure. I have not found much flexibility with customers in the past on that. I'm glad it's just a hobby for me now, it seems more of a challenge to stay profitable at the present time. Cheers !
Great video Tony , i can see already many hours off work have gone into prepping that shell !!!!! Fortunately for me i work fot customers that very rarely ask how much will a job cost.
They trust me to be fair on price so i don't have any issues there. Just got a DB7 in for minor work rust spots dents etc and your right as painters we have to plan our process . 👍
Were you able to finish the TVR, looking forward to seeing how your prep holds the candy paint, gonna look sweet!
G,day from Australia, havn't had any further video's are you ok. Love watching your video's. Cheers Craig
Another great video Tony thanks for sharing it with us.
Can’t wait for the top coat video! It’s gonna look epic! 👌🏻👍🏻
Hi Tony I'm really enjoying the TVR series so far mate, laying the Kapci 634 looked a fiddly job with all the different shapes you had to get round especially in the engine bay but it's looking good so far👌
It's surprising how the paint costs mount up on a candy like this as there are so many paint stages to go through it won't be cheap. The premier and live chat seemed to go ok last night mate I wasn't my usual chatty self as I had a lot on my mind but I really enjoyed it as it was just what I needed to relax a bit, thanks for doing these videos mate as I know you put a lot of time and effort into all the editing and the voiceover 👏🙏👍
Big fan of that high build. Sands down nice and covers pretty well ! Looking good. Don't envy your crawling in and out of that engine bay about a thousand times over the course of this job mind you!
Why aren’t you a fan of it fella
@@TonysRefinishingTV Just crawling in and out of that engine bay. Just a lot of rolling around on the floor that's all :)
Excellent video very interesting thanks Tony.
Loving this series. Bring on #4
Lovely work pal..
Thoroughly enjoyed the video Tony, it’s looking very nice after all that hard work.👏👏
Nice one mukka 😊😊
Great work Tony as always, I was watching the blue mini you done and I want to use apoxy primer but don’t have a booth to bake can I still use it, many thanks Tony
Hi Tony, do you know when Pt4 is coming out?
Hi Tony, really enjoying your content, wondered if you can help/advise, I'm currently restoring an old BSA bike, I'm at the stage where I'm thinking about paint, the mudguards need painting but there covered in rust and pitted heavily, so will need filling etc., how would you treat the bare metal? I've blasted them, but the pitting is too deep, and I'm concerned the rust will keep coming through, seen you vids on Mipa epoxy primer, but do you treat the bare metal with some form of rust inhibitor? any advice would be appreciated.
thanks
Martyn.
Hiya mate. I'm having problems with the old Riley I'm working on. I'm thinking of using a spray putty on one of the wings. Do you know if it will react with celly ? Or should I put an inhibitor on it?
Q: name of the group playing final song on this one ? thanks a mint for your tutorials !!!
Hi tony random question. Are you still using the quartz liquid glass?
👏👏👍👍
Is Tony OK????
All good mucker?
So was the painting job shot? No 4th part.
It’s coming I’ve had a lot of personal things to deal with atm with an ill family member il finish editing the rest soon
@@TonysRefinishingTV You keep your family safe!
Where are you Tony? Hope all is ok
