Please let me know if you like gunne sax style dresses. I’d love to make more! This is from last year but there are so many other styles I want to try and to get better at!!❤
Gen X here. I grew up in the 70s and 80s and I wanted a Gunne Sax dress more than anything. I finally got an original from the 1970s and wore it when I got married (I did need to alter it a bit). I still would like to make another dress in that style, but using my quilting scraps to make it in a patchwork style. Loved seeing this dress, and seeing it made with salvaged material. 😊 Edit to note that I did have dwarf hamsters, and they are the best pets (granted, I was an adult when I got one). They can be very affectionate and sweet, and they’re so tiny and soft.
Oooh a quilting scrape Patchwork one would be an amazing project! I’d love to see it if you ever do make it! And thanks so much for watching. I want to make a wedding dress style one next when I get a chance and find the right material 🥰 Aww yes dwarf hamsters are soo soft maybe when my son is old enough to handle taking care of one I’ll let him get one and relive the memories haha.

Very nice outfit
Thank you!!
I had a very similar dress as an 10 year old in 1973.
Oh how nice! I grew up in the 90s and we def didn’t dress like this. Always shorts and a tshirt or a holiday dress that was poofy haha
I totally love the dress! I also like to use koffie to color things.
So convenient and cheap too! And makes a beautiful color.
Thanks for watching and glad you like it. I want to do a wedding dress gunne soon 😍
Being good at maths... Well that explains the dead accuracy of the centred lace and ribbon placement done by eye!
😅 Thanks for watching. :D
