how to send midi FROM vcv rack into Ableton? I've got vcv pro
In Ableton preferences I can't set my new device in Audio input device how you did it. Just only output device. And how you get VCV sound to Ableton master bus? In my case VCV get MIDI signal from Ableton and i hear the result, but it doesn't sent to Master out or someone else audio channel. Please help me bro
HMU on discord @brendanrincon I'll try to help (it'll be easier if I can see screenshots and stuff)
@@UndulaeMusic thanks a lot, I’ll do it little later
Hey man, I use a rather legacy ( but now freely available) Tool called ASIO LINK to route clock to vcv from ableton and audio from vcv to ableton, for midi passthrough i use something called loop b 30, that's for virtual midi devices, up to 10, all with 16 channels + mpe
I’m on mac
Hi ! I followed all the steps of the video. I can make it work on midi channels but still can't record any audio from VCV into Ableton. None of the audio channels gets any signal from VCV, although the volume in the audio setting is all the way up. What can I do ? Regards, F
Hmm…perhaps check to see if VCV is at the same sample rate as Ableton. Sometimes discrepancies there can make things a little wonky and finnicky
Too bad there no blackhole to link midi
that's more or less what the IAC driver is
There are dozens of audio routers for Windows. Stop being "OSist."
don't leave us hanging! share the goods!
Ahem… We’re waiting?
@@chitlun Look up Cable by VB-Audio. I haven't used it, but I think it accomplishes pretty much the same thing. And you can use LoopBe1 by nerds.de for MIDI.
@@UndulaeMusic Thanks for the reply but I don’t actually use Windows for music creation, I was merely urging the original commenter to provide some evidence to back up their statement.
