I love this series, Marriage Today. My husband was always shy of seeing a Christian marriage counselor, but now he isn't. Now, there's no one he can be afraid of judging him as he always thought he or she could. I could never understand his fears, but now there's no way one could judge him even though I doubt a Christian counselor would . The marriage counselors come to television, RUclips & other media. What hurt and damage one must own to be this way? What is the difference between enabling and compassion?

You are describing me! Sometimes I find myself saying, wow this really is working (the Word) and now that I hear you describe your journey, it sounds a lot like mine.
There are certain things that you can overcome with prayer but when he spouse is continuously being unfaithful there is no prayer that can help you stay with him. More so when he does not see how terrible his actions are and how he minimizes it. I'm talking about a person who is the Son of a Preacher and who even preaches himself. I've decided to move on in order to have peace and start healing so that I can bring myself to healthy emotional status that would give me the possibility to look at establishing a relationship in the future with somebody who first loves God, will manifest commitment towards marriage, is willing to be open in every aspect of the relationship and considers me his one and only and not engaged in friendly relationships with women that will cause friction in our marriage. I pray for all those who go through what I'm going through when I pray and I asked if you could do the same for me. May God bless you all!

Obey the Word of God? Obedience is better than Sacrifice. Redemptive Love? IF? you love God you will keep His Commandments? You do what God says because God says it. Has nothing to do with the spouse God gave you. Its all about Him.
what do I do when I have done that and the person will not accept that. I have always done that and he says yeah you need to do that. and never has let me to buy anything and takes all the money and gives me crumbs, when I am the one that works???????????????
I have stepped down from ministry because my husband has a porn problem. He lies next to me in bed and watches. He says it's entertainment and it's not real. I'm devastated. I've given up and filing for divorce.

My ex husband who's also an ordained pastor let his love for this world destroy our marriage. Yes...I fought. I fought because my life depended on it.
