Very nice! If my wires weren't cracked to hell and back id stop at just this, sadly i have to re-do everything from the engine side of the bulkhead connector
ouch. i had to go thru the bulk of the engine harness before i dropped the motore in as the truck had been pieced together from 2 trucks at some point in its life.
@@twiztedwrenchgarage I guess that is fair I genuinely did not explain anything 🤣 I’m going to do this to my truck and the fusible links I was wondering if they affected blinkers and which one it was. But since I’ve looked a little bit more and found it out. Now my biggest question is what size fuses I would need. Because I’ve seen some that say 40,60,30. I can’t find a standard blade 60A fuse
@DewlenGolfs if you have checked out my latest video. I have a Discord channel I created for my viewers to use(invite link in the description). I have a section in there for diagrams. In that section, I have a diagram for the usable links and what fuse to use on what. I used 40 amp fuses in all of mine, and I haven't had an issue.i wasn't able to find a 60 either. The only one I have that's much larger is the alternator at a 175 Amp breaker.
I have a question. At the 3:00 mark there is a white connector above your hand. Does it actually need it, or can I cut it off about 8-10 inches and connect the remaining 3 wires to the thick lead wire of a new positive battery cable. I'm adding a fuse to the smaller lead wire like you did.

13:13 I have the same lights
Yea cant beat the price for them. Plus the driving at night upgrade is totally worth it.
Will it affect the blinkers?
@@DewlenGolfs how do you mean?

You can for sure do that. The only reason it was there from the factory was for a disconnect from the harness for replacement cables.
How did you get your gas gauge to work?
It turned out to be the ground at the frame on the driver rear side of frame.
