Thank you so much for sharing. I could resonate with you 1000% as I went through exactly the same thing. Your advice, videos and sharing helped me tremendously and by disregarding any diets, I actually have far less craving and eat much more healthier. You are totally amazing. Big thank you!
After a short period of raw food I started to eat all the other foods again. First very clean and often mono but my cravings won. Cake an fries took over.
Follow the Intuition I know I'm wuite late hahah x. Btw my turning point in my recovery has been seeing my skin healing and literally GLOWING after years of it being acneic and broken (I used to have scars covering my face...) after just 3 days of eating 3000 kcal a day... I could never look back! 💕
+Follow the Intuition i want to eat intuitively but every time i try im bingeing... i let myself eat whatever i want for 3 months but ... i Just gained weight. Im back to obsessing about meal hours calories macros preparing etc and im not sure am i recover from bingeing or going back to some kind of eating disorder
the more you try to control everything - your weight, how much is ok to eat, macros, only eating in meal hours, the more you are controlled by your eating disorder. you think you are in control..but the reality is that you are just controlled by ED. just LET IT GO, let go of the control! start to live your life, find new things to be interested in...at first you have to kind of force yourself to find new interests, to break the eating disorder pattern, but after time it will save your life because you are not focused or controlled by the ED anymore. what are your other interests? for example, i started to read inspirational and motivational books, went out with friends, challenged myself to eat at restaurants and order anything i liked, took an art class, started drawing again, it all helped so much, I forgot about eating disorder and just went on with my life, stopped trying to control my food or my body.
死神悲しい At the beginning it's normal. You have to still do it and let this period pass or elsenyou'll be stuck in this loop forever. Be strong, you can do it 💕
Hi Elisa, how many months did it take for you to fully recover from the point of including animal products into your diet? I'm also a vegan and I really don't like the idea of eating animal products for ethical reasons, but should I be incorporating them into my diet anyway? Will it speed up my recovery process?
I ate some animal products in the start of my recovery - especially for mental recovery reasons so i would not feel restricted in any way. i was just very confused, part of my eating disorder being vegan was for "health" to "eat clean", but part of it was also for ethical reasons. so to get rid of the restrictive part, i included them to not have this "clean eating" mindset. so this was my reason. you have to figure out what is best for you.
