Okay, Epiphany is hands down one of THE MOST ICONIC songs in BTS's whole discography. And Jin puts his entire soul while performing it. Atleast that's what I feel. This is the song that made me fall head over heels in love with Jin, the vocalist. Before this, i had only heard him in group songs n unfortunately hadn't come across songs(until that point) where he got the opportunity to shine. Jin belts out those crazy notes like nobody's business...you should check out Crystal Snow for his triple high notes( crazy !). All 4 vocalists in BTS are freaking amazing, but personally Jin is the one that evokes the most emotions within me. Like his voice was made for ballads. Man can also do Rock( Dionysus😮💨).
Coming to the song, Epiphany is the culmination of BTS's Love Yourself Trilogy. And Epiphany ( as the name suggests) is the final realisation that loving yourself is the only way to go. That's the 1st step to spreading love in the world n loving others. You start by embracing yourself first.
And Jin singing Epiphany makes it more heartwrenching because he had always felt lacking amidst the rest 6, in their earlier days( due to his non musical bg) but has now learnt to embrace himself n his relentless perseverance has transformed him into one of the most well acclaimed singers by the music critics.
Anyway, in short i love Jin n i love Epiphany 😝
PS: Purple haired Jin is Prince Charming personified 😍
Jin is the only idol who got standing ovation and applause after his solo song which is considered the biggest honour for any artist in Japan. He has the nickname silver voice which was given to him by Grammy panel!

The fact that Jin started music lessons late and didn't grow up doing it shows that

@@kimseokjinismyman2694 no he is not underrated, he always ranks high in brand reputation and that is literally the measure of popularity. Plus his songs do really well, moon literally has more streams than inner child on Spotify. I think this narrative is stupid, it’s not 2016 anymore and Jin has really come into his own.

Whether ARMY admits it or not, this song had a lot to do if them becoming an ARMY. I'm 0T7 and Jimin's voice is my favorite but there is NO denying that Jin's voice can touch the Best, most amazing places in our souls. He turns on so many Sensory Nerves in your body. His voice makes your endorphins dance! Jin is just so freakin' talented. The man voice can literally take you to a safe place. BTS doesn't ask anything of ARMY except to be ourselves. This song put a mirror up in front of our faces and told us it was okay, that in order to really love others, we need to love ourselves. I have a personal saying about BTS; "Fire brought me to BTS but Epiphany made me stay."

Idk if it's the specific live performance you watched, but this one happened in Japan and the stadium was indeed in awe of this song, they silently listened to the it and when it ended they stood up and applaused Jin for a long time, which is one of the highest praises for Japanese people towards performers

Epiphany has *litterally* saved the lives of a lot of people, mine included. It's what made me ARMY. Thanks to this song people have found the strength within themselves to continue living, overcome abuse, change a toxic situation and much more.
It's also very important to the guys themselves. Suga even picked Epiphany as his favorite BTS song.
Personally I was in a *very* dark place when I found BTS. Epiphany had me bawling my eyes out and I decided to keep living despite a painful illness. I even discovered that Jin's voice has an effect on my nervous system so yes, I do use him for sound therapy. 😄 I've managed to reduce my pain medication by 2/3 that way, prolonging the time I have before pain medication stops working all together by years. I'm forever grateful to BTS and Epiphany and definitely ARMY for life. 💜

each member have different colored mic. yes, Jin's is pink but last year during a few of their performances, he did use like a mint green mic maybe coz the pink mic needed some tuning

Theory: BTS is better live because they feed off having a live crowd. Offline concerts they give 100%; Studio audience 100% (more energy somehow); Stadium concert 100% + it’s just magic when BTS are in front of army. I think BTS has a full on love for their army and like showing off to them. Other artist have a really good spark at live show, BTS’ spark is a full on explosion
