jin is one of the members that got the most praised for his vocals, Grammy specifically wrote about his vocals his stability and his breath control , high notes and falsettos, kma praised his vocals and fake love won especially mentioning jin's high note, jin's high note in Dionysus was named as the best moment of the whole album by MNE, kmeida wrote an article bts nations pride with jin as the main focus (after SA concert , jin's name was among most searched words in the whole country even among political and economic words)and I can go on.

I love epiphany because it shows how well of a vocalist he actually is but also shows his elegance and his amazing stage presence. I was rap-line biased when I entered into this rabbit hole because that's the kind of music I like the most. But once I digged deeper and started watching more content, Jin's character made him climb into the list. Now I'm hyung line biased 💜
Jin has that amazing magnetic aura, he doesn’t need fancy dancing or too much production to pull you in, his expressions and the emotion with which he sings itself makes you connect with his performance. His voice sounds so clear and powerful live, it honestly gives you goosebumps.

Some people view jin as a weak vocalist in bts since he had no background in singing, but he actually is one of the most stable vocalists in bts when perform live. I've seen them live 3 times and his vocal is really, really impressive!
that some ppl never heard him they just dont like him cuz they have a mindset thtat he is narcissistic and since he didnt have a vocal experience and he is the bts visual, visuals in kpop have to strive more to prove themselves cuz there are ppl who say they are there for their looks.

I witnessed jin's performed epiphany here manila philippines it seems jin's epiphany is the highlight of the concert .. Jin singing with armys ,armys almost crying while singing with jin.the remarkable moment of the whole night.
There's a lot of people that don't appreciate Jin talent. He is really working hard, because he don't have any experience in singing and dancing. That's why I love him so much. ❣️ I hope now many people will appreciate Jin talent, especially his angelic voice. He really deserve some attention.

She (vocal coach) astonished by how Jin's vocal ability 'transformed' like a caterpillar turned into a beautiful butterfly as a singer. She said its really rare to find a people/singer like tht. Jin added his own vocal training hours more thn any other mmbrs cuz he felt tht he lack so much. He practiced hard day n night to th point he woke Suga up from his sleep only to hear n see Jin still practicing his vocal in his sleep ( theyr roommates) he even apologizing in his sleep for makin mistake in his sleep. This why Suga has a whole level of respect on him. Work hard never betray the result. Now even the Grammy committes called him the 'Silver voice'. Jin is my #1 inspiration. He's a true good example on how peopl should put their mind to b better and better of themselvs And as if not enough...he contributed a lot in how each members growing up to b a better themselves too. Many of them said how they changed a lot bcuz of Jin hyung. RM even said Jimin is the happiest when he with Jin. I'm in my fifties and traveledl from Atlanta to Chicago last year to see them. I've been to a lot of concerts in my lifetime and that was in the top five easily. All this to say you'll have a blast. Also tks for the vid. I just love Jin's voice and his powerful delivery.
Same here, except I traveled from Knoxville. I've seen Prince twice and BTS actually topped that for me.
Even the other members said that JIN has the best stage in their concerts!

LoL Jin and his “looks”. I love epiphany. When I first heard the melody, it put me in a melancholic mood. When I read the lyrics and listened to the song again, I went to a corner and cried. I watched him perform this last year at Rose Bowl and it’s so moving. Especially when you have 50-60K people singing along with it. It was beautiful. Going to April 25th concert too! Woot woot.
I could easily write pages on the oldest member of BTS but the biggest thing wish everyone knew about Jin is his overwhelming compassion and kindness. From a culture where the oldest can wield ultimate authority on others. Jin practices kindness and compassion for his members, ARMY, everyone he comes in contact with, and most importantly himself. He continues to remind me that I need to love myself through his performances and his everyday actions he shares with us. He stands firm in his beliefs but he does not belittle others who don’t believe in the same virtues. Instead he invites you to join him in pursuing a better world. (See his speech at MAMA in 2019 calling out chart manipulation in the industry with SUCH grace and kindness) 💜

This song is THE reason I'm ARMY. December of 2022 my granddaughter asked me to listen to something and put her headphones on me and this is what I heard. She just sat there and watched my expression. She said she knew I was hooked within the first 30 seconds. I haven't stopped listening and learning since.

Jin's solos are my favorites! You need to hear Awake, it has my favorite lyrics of any BTS song. It's just so relatable and Jin sounds amazing. Also you should look up the lyrics of Epiphany, I think you probably picked up the general idea of the song, but the lyrics are beautiful.

One of BTS’s past albums is themed ‘Love Yourself’. As the title suggests, the album delivered hopeful commentary on how to fall in love with oneself. Could it be the members have come of age? The group has steered away from their debut ‘No More Dream’ type of concepts. There must have been a number of influences behind how BTS have come to spread self-compassion. From within, though, it most likely stems from the oldest member Jin.
Jin, his leadership role deals with members’ lifestyles and mental health conditions. Unlike the other members who began training in the ages of middle to high school, Jin signed his contract after he got into college. This means, when he first met his teenaged teammates, he probably had some sense of autonomy already. As that leading adult figure, Jin took care of his young teammates by giving them rides to school, making them special meals for birthdays and holidays, packing lunches for examination days - and in doing so, taught the members the idea of caring for one another.
he abided by the quote which ARMYs have come to embrace as well, “You’re the only one who needs to know how hard you tried.” While at first it sounds humble, this phrase is actually peak self compassion. It is telling Jin (and us) to acknowledge his effort, respect his time, and appreciate himself. And that is, ultimately, his self-care.
Self compassion helps a person have a growth mindset and adds authenticity to relationships. This explains why BTS members always thank Jin for helping them find inner peace. Jin tries hard, but at the same time he is optimistic and forgiving. This inspired some of the other members who are too strict with themselves.

Watching Epiphany live in Seoul during Speak Yourself The Final was such an amazing moment. They changed up the set a bit, it was so beautiful. Lol I seriously went all the way from Seattle to Seoul to be a part of the Love Yourself Speak Yourself era and I have no regrets about it, I had so much fun in Seoul.
Jin is a tenor belter with amazing vibrato which makes him unique in the group (as they each have something unique to them).
You MUST check this song’s lyrics. It’s by far one of my favorites, and it’s the only solo that falls into the conclusion category of the Love Yourself story arc narrative.
FYI Asian storytelling structure is divided into 4 sections:
Introduction: Euphoria (JK), Serendipity (Jimin) and Trivia: Just Dance (Hobi) fall here, also DNA and pretty much all of Her, except Outro:Her, which is transitioning to the next one
Development: Trivia: Love (Namjoon) is the best one here. Singularity (Taehyung) is a transitional song between this stage and the next one
Twist: Trivia: Seesaw (Yoongi), Fake Love, TTU, Outro: Tear, and pretty much all of Tear
Conclusion: Epiphany (Jin), Answer: Love Myself, I’m Fine, Idol, pretty much every song after Epiphany in Answer
Arguably Fake Love, Singularity and TTU fall in Development, they’re in a grey line tbh.
Jin is not a singer nor idol. He's basically in acting major. But he drop in BTS without knowing how to sing and dance. And here he is now. With his high voice.

This is the one song that can hit me straight and tear every time I listen to it. That’s because the lyrics are poignant and significant to BTS message about loving oneself no matter how imperfect you are. I will cry every time I listen or watch him perform this song. You should definitely react to the lyrics of EPIPHANY by jin (this song). It's a deep song about loving yourself with so deep lyrics that connects to all our hearts💜💜
Jin doesnt get many lines in BTS songs, but in truth, not many songs meet his vocal capabilities. He is a "belter" and can hit ranges that the rest of the vocal line cant. In truth, he can hit Mariah Carey notes and rock screams, but their heavy style of dance doesn't allow time for that type of sound.
There are a few comparison videos of him and Mariah Carey online. I definitely recommend! You can also find a rare triple high note from him in Crystal Snow and if you listen to all the high pitch screams in Dionysus, that's him!

I have watched fancams of Jin's performances for Epiphany before I watched the concert but 4:54 was the moment I didn't actually expect to be surreal live and I dunno why I was shocked and speechless at the same time with the way Jin was looking at the camera with the rain going in reverse and I didn't realize I was holding my breath for a moment there. It was so beautiful and my heart hurt for some reason. And then came the epic vocals. For me it was the perfect solo among the 7 solos of the members to be performed last for the Love Yourself concert. It blew my mind and heart away. 😍💜😍
