Hands down the coolest barn doors ever made!
Listen man!!!! Coming from a welder of 10 plus yrs, and a person that loves the art of metal work.... THESE DOORS ARE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! I want to make my own! Thank you for the idea and inspiration!!
Haha I thought you were going to rip me a new one reading it lol. Thanks for not doing it brother. Just learning
Heat warp is a thing! Spot weld, then stitch the rest together moving all over so you don't let the heat build in one spot. Love the glasses and eyes with the smile on the right bottom door! I really like them Bart!!
That door is sweet!
Thanks brother. My favorite part of it
If you're not willing to set yourself on fire just a little bit, can you even really call yourself a Maker? 😁 These doors look fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
Hahaha well in that case I should be the OG with all the times it’s happened lol
Love the doors. Kind of remind me of a rebel space craft that has been pieced together in outer space.
Those doors are so sick. Amazing
Thanks Brett !!
I'll say it: the doors are incredible
im in love with these doors...
Me tooooooo lol
So steampunk absolutely love it!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
Thank you 🙏
I've never seen anything like this at all!!!! Amazing job bro!
Thanks man!! It was new project to me
Those turned out fantastic, Bart! Love that steampunk look
I hate you for how good that looks….. awesome work man keep it up!!!!
Lol that’s man. But I love you !! lol
So that is what those weights I never picked up can be used for!
Beautiful piece of art - I need to learn how to weld. Thanks for sharing Bart!
I've always loved that steampunk industrial style. I am building an all steel blacksmith shop, and am incorporating some steampunk accents into my build too! Your project has given me some great inspiration! Thanks a lot, and looking forward to more great videos!
Wow, they look great!
Yes, mate, those doors ARE incredible !!!! Well done!!!!
Thanks so much
Those doors are steampunk art! Amazing job, bro!
Love it. Thanks for the inspiration.
Awesome looking doors!
Only one word can say beautiful door
Thank you Betty
Masterpieces!
Safety first batt, safety first
Hello my friend,
A very nice door project. good job. Unless you try innovations, you cannot learn anything new. And you are always trying to teach innovations. And you always produce innovative works and ideas. Thank you for sharing. See you. Big greetings.
Thank you so much Sahane!!
@@KomarProject 👏👏👏👏👏👏
That is awesome
Those doors turned out so cool, Bart! Good job!
Thanks Bruce!!!
For future reference when making large welds the best way to do it to prevent warping is to either lay your beads in small batches letting the metal cool in between or to work from the outside in alternating the side you work from.
That’s a great tip Jordan. I had a friend tell me the same exact thing after I posted what happened on Instagram. You hit it right on the nail buddy
@@KomarProject it's something my teacher drilled into my head.
Those came out nice
Let’s go 200k man!!
Looks awesome man.
Very talented.
Wish u lived in my area

Cool doors!
13:46 ... OMG, the smiley face with glasses... tell me I'm not the only one that noticed the Smiley with glasses. So stinking adorable. Was that on purpose?
Outstanding !!!
Thank you so much
Great work, Bart! You KNOW I'm all about the steampunk, and that door is steampunk AF.
Very beautiful design. Awesome video this week Bart. I would love to see more welding on your channel. I definitely want to do this for my shop doors when I have to fix them. Thanks so much. Can't wait to see next videos. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend Bartt. Keep designing. Fab on. Weld on. Keep making. God bless.
You ask and you shall receive my friend. Next project is a welding one too
amazing!
7:14 flexible road form 👍🏻
This was fun to watch
Dude!!!! Those turned out awesome!!!!!! I love it!
Thank you Ashley !!
Those look soooo dope, congrats man. Really beautifully done.
Thank you BK !!
Welder here!
The heat issue is rsther common, and if I can assume that you worked the entire line top to bottom, then that was where your mistake was.
For future reference, spread out the heat, and clamping down your project can be helpful to prevent bowing.
A door like that, it would've been smarter to divide the heat in sections, doing a bit at the top, then at the bottom, and work your way to the center.
It looks really good though! And your less scientific way to fix it, happens more often than you think ;)
Keep up the good stuff dude!
Ya I sure did. Should have probably done a inch at a time. Had no idea metal would bend like that. Live an learn my friend
Love the work bud, greetings from Australia, I'm soon going to convert a room and were already thinking of a barn style door, and you have just given me some ideas, not in the metal but in the application. Keep up the great work and attitude. Cheers
Thank you so much Jorge! Would
Love to see your doors
You are so creative 😭😭😭😭
i love this doors
Bart, this is so cool!! I saw your Instagram pics and was hoping you'd have a video. I did not know about that rust remover - such a great tip! And I remember my Gma using a ringer washer so that re-use of the gear warmed my heart.
FYI - this is the first notification I've had in a few months from your channel and my bell is set to get them all.
Thanks for sharing - sending you and yours good wishes!
Thank you Lisa. Ya the washing machine part was my fav part of it.
Those doors look awesome!!! Love the Simpsons clips! All around good vid!
awesome,,,
13:16 and 13:46 ... OMG, the smiley face with glasses on the bottom right... tell me I'm not the only one that noticed the Smiley with glasses. Such a stinking adorable touch of whimsey. Was that on purpose?
Show de bola o quando, eu admiro a dedicação de vocês ao fazer algo, lógico tendo todas as ferramentas. "Uma dica pintaria essa croma é dourado em algumas partes dando impressão de antigo.
Barts the hottest thing since sunburn!!!
oh fuck that’s INCREDIBLE!
Look so cool. Weld done... :-)
Thank you !
Great info! Liked and subscribed
Thank you
Turned out very unique and looks great. Komar, you need to talk to Homesteadonomics. He’s been wielding some time now, has built his own work shed, travel trailer completely made from scratch, built metal doors, metal workbench similar to Pask Makes, steal outdoor swings, and I think the absolute neatest is his daughter’s own personal playhouse and steal playground… he’d be an excellent recourse for ideas on how he keeps his steal frames straight and square. Love this “Komar Project”, now where’s the rest of the shed build?!!!
Thank you so much !!
Heat the metal red on the opposite side of your weld, that's the way we always do or simply everything clamed down during welding and for the cooling off...
So freakin cool!!!!!!!!!
take me there to your country to help with what you are doing
These doors are incredible! Didn't like seeing your shirt catch on fire...the one thing I don't like about welding - the sparks! Maybe you can use an antique/steam punk type padlock to lock the doors where they meet when you closed them at 12:56. Well done...the doors and the steak!
Haha thank you Juliet. I would love to find a cool padlock for it
No, those doors are incredible. And never in a million years did I think you would be able to straighten them by bouncing on them.
wow loved the doors, but not the lack of a guard on your angle grinder (yep your shirts on Fire) and what looks like a 6" disk on a 4 1/2" tool ?!
If you heat the top of the arch on a warp then quickly spray water on the top of the curve with a spray bottle (only wetting the top of the arch) the molecules will basically shrink quickly on the side you just quenched (top of the arch) pulling the top of the curve tighter slightly shrinking it due to the instant cooling fixing the slight curve nearly instantly. You have to get a little feel for it but it’s a very fast very accurate way to do it. Or to avoid warping all together tack the entire frame corners together, square it, then tack the entire frame every foot all the way around to a metal table (if possible) then only weld one little spot at a time jumping around corner to corner never welding one whole area at a time, just small stitches jumping around letting the opposite side cool very often, then you get a dual prevention of warpage but before you cut the tacks on the frame where you tacked it to the table make sure you let the entire frame cool completely and your steel will naturally relax and your frame being tacked flat to the table will stay flat. Third way of that’s not an option is to tack the corners, square it then do very small stitch welds never welding more than one side at a time before coming to the opposite corner letting the other side cool while you do another small section, you’ll jump around a couple dozen times welding the frame but everything will pull way less this way and stay more metallurgically relaxed if that makes sense, Excellent project that’s such a cool looking door!
Controle burns the metal shrinks when you heat it and it cools! When it’s hot it will get worse
Yes sir. Learned that the hard way lol
Cóm ptr 2x1 te quedó muy ligera se ve bien chula.
Me gustó más la soldadora es una bestia.
Awesome..but I can't figure.out what prevents the doors from coming off if you lift them up a little.bit
Hey mate - from Australia - can I ask what camera you use... you're inspiring me and I 'm 58yo - now living divorced - and so bought a place and about to start renovating it for the first time - thanks to you... might film it.:)
Hello there im from philippines..G.I square tube curve when it welds..
Where do you get your Metal stock from? Thanks.
at this 3:46 moment, i thought i might bend the door if i weld that myself... turn out i am not alone 😂
Lol
i think you should use padlock. you can make it easier with welding
Now wait a minute, in the shed build video you said you had the doors made.
Those aren't garden separators they are forming material left by the concrete guys.
I like it as an art piece but is wouldn't be sealable to keep the wind/rain/mice out. All good. Just do it!
