This is a perfect example of the way Parents should react to their children when they start to show interest in exploring some form of creative arts ROLE MODEL PARENTING going on here in its finest form.
I don't think it's Role Model parenting, I've always liked NIN but these kids were very likely introduced to this and in my opinion its psychologically negative and destructive at their age. NIN is dark, childrens minds are forming.
So is the majority of the new music that is played on Spotify, RUclips music and everywhere else. Kidz Bop is no better , it’s the exact same thing. It’s kids singing adult music made for adults.
That ending was so fucking unexpected but so poignant; throwing back to a 90's childhood with no social media or no phones ... this unexpectedly hit real hard.
Here's the thing. We weren't depressed without a phone. We were better off. All thise friends jumping around for your birthday don't actually come over to celebrate with you. They stay home and give you a 5 min phone party with your other at home, long distance friends. There is no actual physical contact nowadays. It's not better. It's worse. It's just that you get instant gratification with the phone without any effort. It's a very shallow and meaningless existence but it's easier and most people are lazy. No actual human connections are made.
I love how you guys are teaching kids to play real music. But I have to say your storytelling abilities also shine in these videos. They are so much fun.
