Most enthusiasts clean their cars in a better condition, I thought bad enough for most to get an idea.
Good video but could be shorte bud. Some filler titles aren't needed, I feel.
The last ceramic foam didn't get enough airtime, hypocrite I know I just bought some for the cars.

I don’t do the pre-rinse, the foam stays on better for the entire 10 minutes.
You are absolutely right. Since making this video (this one is from last year), I have learnt that no pre rinse is better.
Make sure to use seal on wheels make a good job.

My autoglym foamer is a bit annoying as water pisses out of the connection. The karcher foamer doesn’t give anywhere near the level of foam with the blast/wash products.

Cor. You’ve got me now. I’d have to review the video to check. This is quite an old video but normally I get the wheel cleaner dwelling at the start.
In fact. I’ve followed suit with most half decent cleaners and started doing the wheels as a separate stage at the beginning of the process. You’ve given me an idea. I’ll shoot a more concise version at the weekend.

@@paulfrance2162 Hello. Yes. Avoid pre rinse because the foam will stick better to the dirty/dry surface. As you say. I discovered that by reading the comments and doing further research. I do indeed still use the polar kit. It’s just such a nice experience. I tend to either use the autoglym polar kit or bilt hamber touchless or auto foam then Gyeon wet coat. Both processes provide a similar end result. For me what made the biggest difference was using the Mjjc foam cannon. It’s just a joy to use and delivers lovely foam. Citrus pre wash is also worth considering. It performs as good as foam. But is really cost effective as the dilution ratios can be really low. So it lasts ages. There’s just something about the foam process. It’s enjoyable. I have recently also looked at onr. Worth a look if you haven’t already. It’s amazing. Feels like cheating. I have a video on my schedule to do rinseless vs traditional wash.

Stubby gun was from slims detailing. Extended hose was from Amazon.
I hate to say it. But both are game changers.
The hose mainly. You can get round the whole car with ease and no moving the pressure washer.

Thanks for the links. The hose is an extension. I need to replace mine in its entirety, so does that fat connector on the end come off to allow me to do that?
Based on what I've seen those Pre-wash foams don't too do much, especially if you are using a pressure washer, how much of it is the chemical? vs the pressure ? but that's just me, I haven't had the chance to try this stuff out yet... I got the trial kit sitting in my basement since last year...... need to get the pressure washer itself. I have noticed but your video that it looks like it is best to start from the wheels and go up with the foam since it runs a bit more. Nice video!... now if the bloody weather in Canada will give me some decent conditions!
Hello. Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment. I only have a poverty spec (low pressure) pressure washer so I suspect the foam is doing a chunk of the work. I’m pretty new to foam (having always been sceptical about it) but am totally sold now. Getting 80% of the dirt off without even touching the car is a huge bonus. Regarding direction of spray. I’m not professional enough to be using a particular direction. Unless it happened by accident. Anyway. Process should be. Wheels first. Get that part done and out of the way (I show that better in a later video cleaning my forester). Then clean car as detailed in this video. Some people rinse bottom first. Then move up. There’s so many factors. When it’s super hot. I just try and keep buzzing round to keep the car cool and wet to avoid streaks etc. If it’s cold or damp. Just up and down until each panel is done. You can test the foam in a pump sprayer. That’s how I started. Then just use a normal garden hose to rinse. You’ll soon get the urge to have a pressure washer. Just a basic model is fine. @@rev-you1975 all good, I’ve got the same issue with trying to work fast enough, no shade unless it’s either early morning or late afternoon. Though then the mosquitoes come out and I get eaten alive lol. What ever works for someone is the way to go.

@@BMan100 Gyeon wet coat really helps at the end of washing in the sun. Keep the car wet overall. Get the product on. Have your drying towel to hand. Drag it all over the car starting with the largest flat areas. Roof. Bonnet. Sides. Then get in to the smaller details and glass. With Gyeon wet coat on the surfaces you can do full dry in 5-10 mins. Promise. It’s incredible. Next on my wish list is a blower so o can dry super quick to avoid streaks.
What does 1:5 parts water mean? Is it 500ml water and 100 ml polar blast?

Auto Glym advise you avoid putting the Polar Seal on the windows. Did that cause an issue for you, or do you use a windscreen cleaner?
Hello. Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment. It’s not caused me any problems. I barely use my wipers, the windscreen beads up lovely and most of the water just rolls off when you are moving above 30mph. The only drawback is that the wipers will squeak a tiny bit if the window isn’t really wet (ie a light drizzle) (I hear that is similar for many rain repellent windscreen finishes) but I am happy to live with that for the hydrophobicity it provides.
Always start at the bottom when powerwashing vehicles if you start form the top the polar wash just washes away the powerwasher agitates the chemical to remove the dirt

Hello. Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment. My partners car only gets washed 2/3 times per year. Whereas my forester gets cleaned almost weekly. She goes to the horse yard every Saturday and Sunday so her Suzuki was pretty grotty.
I’ll do my forester tomorrow. I also have some citrus pre wash to pop on first before the snow foam.
Forester is utterly filthy at the mo so it’ll be a good test. All the best.
Yes we need to put it through the paces and let's see what the product can do . Autoglym is a good product but I'm not into the snowfoaming just yet would have liked to have seen it do the job. Thanks.

Hello. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. I did a follow up video recently on a much dirtier car if you would like to see how the products perform on a dirtier vehicle. My daily driver had done 1500 miles since last maintenance wash so was adequately dirty to provide a better example. Also. My daily driver is almost 16 years old so hopefully a better real world example for you. In other words. The paint is far from perfect. Thanks again. Take care.
