I agree. Ask them to move out. Give them the amount of money they would have paid you for the whole lease time. Best of luck. I live in Tucson and I love AZ

Girl! I can’t even imagine what you’re going through. Honestly my advice (not that you asked), is to hire a lawyer and see if there is a way you can get out of your lease early without any fees or anything. I mean it’s worth those fees too at this point! Contact the renters living in the AZ home and give them sufficient notice. The lawyer will also help with this to make sure you’re not out of bounds. Idk what the regulations are but if it’s 1 or 2 months that’s enough time for you to… GET EXCITED!!! This time it’s time to merge those two experiences. AZ home decor was too “bland” for you guys which I totally understand. The Miami apartment gives the edgy Latin flavour but the city itself is not the vibe for you guys. Marry the two! Bring the Miami furniture to the AZ house. No need to hire a decor team or anything like that but I LOVE how you toned down the apartment decor (you chose more neutral walls in the bathroom for example) and the main standout pieces are the furniture! The transition won’t be that hard guuurl just hire another (better) moving company and you’ll get the funky furniture with the more subdued finishings the AZ house already offers. It’s technically already a blank slate! I just realized I’m focusing a lot on interior decor (can you tell I love it) but I also know it means a lot to you in terms of having a home feel authentic and homey. I feel that’s what you guys are after. So… 1. Lawyer up bestie or do your research on how to proceed. 2. Notify AZ tenants, organize for movers, hire painters to paint apartment back (or make it a family event! Everyone paints a wall!) 3. You can even hire an interior designer on Fiverr (what I did) to help you marry the two and make the AZ home feel EXACTLY how you want it. 4. Kind of contradicting my last point but… making a home look a certain way takes yearsssss so be easy on yourself. The most important thing is that it feels comfortable. Ask yourself “what needs to get done to make this house feel like home?” And “ what can I do in the meantime to feel more comfortable where I am now?” Maybe that includes wearing noise cancelling headphones. Does the baby monitor turn a different color if the baby cries? If not maybe find one that does so you don’t feel like you have to have your ears always accessible!!
Everything will fall into place. The first months are rough. I can only imagine how much worse it is with construction outside your window every day. We also moved back home from AZ to be closer to family when baby was born in January. We still miss it but we’re so conflicted on if we’d go back now because we also love how much support we have here from our families that we know we won’t have there if we go back. Just visits with grandparents or having family over to play with him. It’s just so nice to us that they’re only a drive away.
Positive outlook on things: Instead of getting anxious about “thinking you made a bad choice” try thinking about how you can use your new furniture and decor style in your Arizona home! Get inspired!
The having a fresh baby fighting with your significant other is SO frustrating and annoying but it’s so temporary. I recently got out of the newborn trenches and we are both sleeping better and now we are in a bliss. Keep taking those small moments of self care, it helps to feel like yourself again 🖤 Hang in there!
I just moved to Arizona from Texas and I get what you say about the peacefulness and less traffic. It’s so chill and such a vibe! Beautiful mountains ❤ a lot of people say you need family and it’s true but I feel like men nowadays help so much. I have 2 kids and felt like I would need my mom all the time but my hubby helps so much and we are on the same terms of how we want to raise our kids because family will sometimes intervene in how you raise them. We lived out in Pennsylvania with no family and had such a blast and felt very secure in our parenting so don’t let ‘not having family close’ stop you from moving out of state ❤
I was the exact same when I had my newborn! We were in such a bad house and it completely ruined me. Then we moved and things got better. But the arguments as a couple is so normal. You go from doing everything together and having no responsibility for anyone really to then being constantly overstimulated, sleep deprived etc. it’s hard work. It’s rewarding. But it’s hard work.
The no sleep thing is so hard. Me and my husband bikered so much and we never argued before. At 4 months baby started sleeping through the night and our relationship got so much better. My biggest regret is not asking for help. I’m so independent, I felt I needed to be able to do everything myself even though people offered to help.
You guys need back in your arizona home asap. You did so much amazing work in that house top to bottom and the SERENITY 🙏🏾 speak to the realtor about some options, buyout, etc for the tenant? And hope for the best!
This is my first video since you gave birth. I just want to say congratulations and I am so happy for you and Henny and I can't wait to follow along your journey as a mom. Love you ❤
girl I cannot wait till you move back to your little suburban life in Arizona and your spirits just rise and you live that life you’ve been craving. I’m excited for you. keep pushing!!💕
AZ misses you! These experiences are NEVER mistakes! They are growth opportunities EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Moving was perfect for your situation at the time, things change, don't be hard on yourself. ❤
Love how authentic and genuine you are. You show all parts of a content creators life and it normalizes the experience for everyone else. It means so much to me!
I moved into this boujie appartment in Montevideo Uruguay, it had a pool, a gym, the units were all brand new, it looked so fresh and i was so excited. and then, the house behind us, AND the house next to it, were demolished one month after we moved in, there was construction EVERY DAY, from 7AM UNTIL SOMETIMES 7PM LIKE WTF IS GOING ON TAKE A BREAK, and it was honestly AWFUL. I loved the appartment in theory, but it was just driving me crazy, i could never film, i couldn't ever open my widows for fresh air because then the noise was unbearable. we didn't even have a baby it just pissed me off. like meditation? i had to meditate at 6am before the started, and then use my airpods from 7am-7pm... just to noise cancel. so I FEEL YOU GURL
No mistakes, these are things OUT of your guys’ control and should try and remind of yourselves of that☺️ Life doesn’t happen to you, life happens and you guys are navigating it You got this 💜
Girl rent a house in Arizona either way when your renters move out you’re gonna have to do cleaning and minor work and maybe updates on the house before you move back in so it will make up for the time you’re holding a lease on the house. Just go!
Just seeing you go THROUGH IT to get to where you are will be so hard to watch if you moved back 😭 I loved how somebody suggested staying at with family during the day so you get your rest. This seems like a good solution until you’re able to possibly move back to AZ or if you want to find somewhere else in Miami. Things will always work out in the end. Even an air bnb might be a good option until your house is open again. Praying for your sanity and well-being!
As a newish mum (3 months old) I am feeling the messy hair, no makeup, sweats and tidying the overnight mess in the first 5 minutes of this video so deeply in my soul 😂 the realest
I think the positive spin on this is that you and Henny didn't need as much help as you thought so now u can go back to ur cozy home in may :) also I think it is good you went to Miami, if you hadnt you may have been thinking "what if/should we have gone to miami." now u know yourself better from the experience. it is such a GOOD trait to try new things nothing to regret I promise!!
Hi!! I'm literally a 20-year-old girl living out my college life so I have absolutely no idea what it's like being a mom but I want to lyk that you're doing amazing regardless of your situation. I love how honest and raw you are with your audience, mommy life isn't easy but seeing u and henny work through it is so reassuring to see. Love you both, wishing y'all the best with your moving plans
A 6 month lease Nov-Dec. rent a spot in AZ. You’ll have way more space- you could even rent a house or condo in your area. You’ll start getting little man acclimated and exposed to AZ places (parks, kiddie classes, etc.) and then you have all of your stuff in close proximity by the time May rolls around.
As a young adult who is also turning 21 soon this year your sister sounds similar to me and this year for my birthday I am going to winery for a wine tasting and having a little tea party as well for my whole family. I hope this helps with ideas.
You venting in this video. Reminds me of when I went through postpartum recovery. I 100% see your feelings & thoughts. This phase will pass. One question: why don’t you guys go over to a family members house once a week from 9-5 when the drilling’s is going on and sleep there ?? That’s why you moved to Florida anyways for family.
Lauren but downtown Miami is like that, construction never stops maybe look to rent a house near the suburbs like Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale? Miramar?? You would be at peace at a house
Miami native here and there’s def so many great smaller suburban neighborhoods! Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Miami lakes, PSN, coral gables, these a safe neighborhoods with a cozier feel! That construction sucks! So sorry you’re having to deal with that. Wish you guys the best of luck
You live & you learn girl. Maybe it was not a mistake and it was meant for you to be in FL when your baby was born. And maybe now it is time to go back to the home you put a lot of effort and compassion into for your son to grow up in. Don't beat yourself up about it. Everything will be okay and work itself out. You both are doing amazing!
Silence and peace is something that we often take for granted… I feel u so much with the noise… try to get out of there it causes so much stress on body and mind I completely get it that u don’t want to deal with that. ❤
Come to West Palm for a while. Super QUIET! Close enough to Miami to still see Fam but far enough to get that suburban feel. I just moved here in July and love it.
do what you need to make this transition into motherhood the easiest you can!! a lease transfers could work, or write a letter to the building admin saying that the agreement for the lease was that the construction would be done in time for a new born, you could even argue its bad for his hearing. also remember the night exhaustion is temporary! soon he will sleep right through the night and you'll be shocked at how fast he's growing. you got this mama
Move to Seattle, it would be such a change but omg you would love it. You get the city vibe, the Homie mountain vibe, it just has the both of best worlds honestly.
It’s okay to make mistakes and pivots. Everything happens for a reason and you’ve learned what was meant to learn. Life be life-in! You’re doing great and now can move forward with better clarity on how to make life better 💕
I would try and 'buy out' your tenant in your old home to cut the lease short & move back!!! If someone offered me $$ to leave my apartment I'd be like I'll be out by next tuesday lol
@lauren I’m a mom of three boys and something that helped me is Dunstan baby language. It teaches you how to hear your babies cry’s and know what they need through 5 distinct sounds and the way their mouth is positioned. It was also featured on Oprah.
Offer the tenant in AZ a month or two of free rent if they would be willing to find a new place... if they can't or don't want to and you're moving back to AZ in May anyway I would just move now and rent somewhere until your house opens back up, most likely way cheaper than Miami, too so you'll save some coin in the mean time..
Hate to say this (I was honestly hoping the apartment would work out bc I would wanna be around family too), but I kinda knew this would happen 🥲 like I just had a feeling it was nottt gonna go as planned, first sign was the decorating team flopping. On the bright side, y’all are blessed and everything will work out ❤
Lauren it is so good to see you! I know this is isn't similar AT ALL but I just started law school and my freedom was kind of ripped from me lolol. The only thing getting me through this first semester right now is that I know it will never be this new again. I can imagine being a new mom kind of feels the same when everything is changing and you can't get a grip on life so I am extending that advice to you because it has brought me so much peace over the last 10 weeks
I say try to find a way to go back to your old house. You guys seemed much more calm there. I live in Miami and know exactly what you're talking about! You guys will figure it out just remember you're a team and working together! ❤
You two are incredible. Thank you for the raw and real content - it truly inspires me to be better to my partner and myself. Have you tried the loop ear plugs? Amazon them - the $45-50 pairs for you asap - and just have one of you use them during the day to nap. You have to take a moment to get used to hearing your breathing with plugs, but it’s a brief period!! Keep at it!! Makes me so happy to see loving homes 🩵🩵🩵 best wishes to you, Rio.
My fiancé and I are planning on moving out of state once we get married and our families keep telling us it's going to be so difficult being away from family once we have kids but we also do not like big cities and want to live in a quieter area. Glad to hear you and Henny are making it work ❤
You could also live out of state before you have kids for the experience and then once you have kids move back if you decide you need the help. That’s what we are doing!
Watching y’all yawn 🥱 is so real. That newborn sleep deprivation hits different. Can’t imagine the construction on top of that. It gets better with baby and you won’t be up so often by 6 months. We just hit that mark and you’ll be there soon too! ❤
I have an opposite opinion from most people here. I moved from the center/ downtown to the suburbs when I had my newborn. First few weeks: great, felt like the perfect decision. Afterwards aka 4 months later: finally used to being a mom, craving the city, meeting with friends, going out for appointments easily, etc. Ended up moving back to the city center a year later and never went back. I’m pregnant with my second now and the expectation for the first pp months is: not gonna leave the house. Will I question alllll my life choices? Probably. But now I know that’s how post partum goes. You’re doing a great job, Lauren.
Girl idk if this is a stupid idea but maybe rent out an airbnb till may, they usually have cheaper monthly prices, and it can be temporary to get away from the noise!
Just wanted to say that arguing with your spouse the first year with a new baby is normal. I joined a postpartum support group and we all have talked about this and how it gets better with time.
I love how real this video was! So many things can make the newborn/baby stage a little harder than it already is, I totally understand the frustration girl. I hope you guys can get some answers soon or decide what's best for your family and find a diff place to live 🤍
i am so happy that you’re comfortable sharing breastfeeding and all of the mom details. giving life to your children needs to be discussed more !! i am in love with this chapter 💌
You should see what the realtor company that’s managing your Arizona home can do. Maybe the current tenant would be willing to move early but may be some negotiating. Worth a try.
Love your vibe and realness and click SO fast every time you upload. I rarely comment but I enjoyed your honesty so much in this vid and totally understand all of your feelings- so valid
Is buying in south Florida not an option for you guys ? You guys should check out the Davie area /southwest ranches. It’s the perfect neighborhood for a family. Feels like the country but you’re actually right there in the city. You see people riding horses, there are great parks and farmers markets and it’s so calm.
Hahaha My husband and I had the same issue. We decided to start a FULL HOUSE remodeling 1 MONTH before our baby was born. AS NEW PARENTS! It has been two years and we decided to take it slow, haven’t finished and we are just doing it little by little. We almost divorced each other a hundred times from stress over the house while sleep deprived 🤣
From a first time mom this year also… trust me everything gets better! I heard myself in you when you started spiraling LOL. Once you get to the 4 month mark everything gets easier magically! Try not to plan too much when you’re overwhelmed. Just know what you’re feeling is 1000% valid. Sending you happy vibes ❤

So…
1. Lawyer up bestie or do your research on how to proceed.
2. Notify AZ tenants, organize for movers, hire painters to paint apartment back (or make it a family event! Everyone paints a wall!)
A great quote I love during difficult times is:
“Always remind yourself that your track record for getting through tough times is 100%." 😊
Positive outlook on things: Instead of getting anxious about “thinking you made a bad choice” try thinking about how you can use your new furniture and decor style in your Arizona home!
God reading overstimulated and sleep deprived made me so stressed
I love seeing you & Henny as a mom & dad! Thanks for being so real & open. ❤
GIRL NOT YOU SCARING ME WITH YOUR TITLE ! Can’t wait to see whay you mean
No seriously!!
No mistakes, these are things OUT of your guys’ control and should try and remind of yourselves of that☺️
Life doesn’t happen to you, life happens and you guys are navigating it
You got this 💜
Have a little spa day with your hermana. Such a cute sibling moment and girl you deserve the relaxation
Honestly thank you for sharing your life experiences AUTHENTICALLY! RUclips is definitely missing out on authenticity now a days ! ❤❤
This was SO real, thank you for sharing. Everything will work out I have SO much faith in you both!
Life, marriage, friendships, work… all gets trickier with a baby! Good luck you guys doing great. ❤
I moved out of Arizona for 3 years hated every second of it and moved back. I missed Arizona!
You both are doing amazing!
i miss your big house in arizona! so beautiful & you have a lot of space, perfect for your family. 🫶🏼 sending positive vibes queen
If you move north to more suburban South Florida like the Boca Raton area you might like that and still be only an hour or so from family!
Also your videos keep me sane so don’t feel like you’re not doing a good job. Loving the new baby content since I’m hoping to have a baby soon myself.
do what you need to make this transition into motherhood the easiest you can!! a lease transfers could work, or write a letter to the building admin saying that the agreement for the lease was that the construction would be done in time for a new born, you could even argue its bad for his hearing. also remember the night exhaustion is temporary! soon he will sleep right through the night and you'll be shocked at how fast he's growing. you got this mama
Lauren you should get noise canceling headphones to help with the noise of the construction. Obv it won’t completely block it out but may help
I would try and 'buy out' your tenant in your old home to cut the lease short & move back!!! If someone offered me $$ to leave my apartment I'd be like I'll be out by next tuesday lol
I’m sorry all of this is happening during this huge transitional period for you guys. I hope that things look up soon ♥️♥️♥️
@lauren I’m a mom of three boys and something that helped me is Dunstan baby language. It teaches you how to hear your babies cry’s and know what they need through 5 distinct sounds and the way their mouth is positioned. It was also featured on Oprah.
Also please look into box breathing it’s great for panic attacks and calms the nervous system life changer
We all saw this coming but you had to go thru the lesson yourselves!! It’s ok to make mistakes. ❤❤❤
On the bright side, y’all are blessed and everything will work out ❤
The wine bottle on the coffee table is SO valid
Lauren it is so good to see you! I know this is isn't similar AT ALL but I just started law school and my freedom was kind of ripped from me lolol. The only thing getting me through this first semester right now is that I know it will never be this new again. I can imagine being a new mom kind of feels the same when everything is changing and you can't get a grip on life so I am extending that advice to you because it has brought me so much peace over the last 10 weeks
You guys should sublease in Arizona! The weather in Scottsdale is about to be so perfect & the area is so comforting for a new family.
I say try to find a way to go back to your old house. You guys seemed much more calm there. I live in Miami and know exactly what you're talking about!
You guys will figure it out just remember you're a team and working together! ❤
WEVE MISSED YOU BUT GIRL YOUR HANDS ARE FULL THANKS FOR PROVIDING TO US
I’m spiraling too right now. Something in the air.. I hope it works out for you !!
He is the cutest little baby in the world and you and Henny are doing so good! You are amazing Lauren, i adore you!
The apartment complex should give you a break on your lease agreement since their construction didn’t match the timeline they gave initially
My fiancé and I are planning on moving out of state once we get married and our families keep telling us it's going to be so difficult being away from family once we have kids but we also do not like big cities and want to live in a quieter area. Glad to hear you and Henny are making it work ❤
Definitely doable but it’s more expensive if you need childcare or a nanny here and there
You could also live out of state before you have kids for the experience and then once you have kids move back if you decide you need the help. That’s what we are doing!
@@Brandee__yup very good point
@@giselle3226yeah that's an option too! Luckily my parents have said if we moved out of state they would consider moving there once we had children.
Also Henny dancing after successfully putting baby down is me everytime 😂🥹
Watching y’all yawn 🥱 is so real. That newborn sleep deprivation hits different. Can’t imagine the construction on top of that. It gets better with baby and you won’t be up so often by 6 months. We just hit that mark and you’ll be there soon too! ❤
If you guys go back to your old house I’m excited for you I felt like that house was soooo you guys
And I’m here for the moving vlogs 🤣❤️
I have an opposite opinion from most people here. I moved from the center/ downtown to the suburbs when I had my newborn. First few weeks: great, felt like the perfect decision. Afterwards aka 4 months later: finally used to being a mom, craving the city, meeting with friends, going out for appointments easily, etc. Ended up moving back to the city center a year later and never went back. I’m pregnant with my second now and the expectation for the first pp months is: not gonna leave the house. Will I question alllll my life choices? Probably. But now I know that’s how post partum goes. You’re doing a great job, Lauren.
Girl idk if this is a stupid idea but maybe rent out an airbnb till may, they usually have cheaper monthly prices, and it can be temporary to get away from the noise!
and maybe you can still stay in Florida for a bit to have family support if you want it/need it :))
I hope you guys can get some answers soon or decide what's best for your family and find a diff place to live 🤍
idk if you two are set on AZ, but i think you and henny totally fit in with the oregon vibe! you would love it ♡ sooo family friendly too
we’re always here for u lauren. life is up and down. we’re here for it all
Try white noise to try to cancel out the construction noise to help you sleep… hope this helps ❤️
i am so happy that you’re comfortable sharing breastfeeding and all of the mom details. giving life to your children needs to be discussed more !! i am in love with this chapter 💌
You should see what the realtor company that’s managing your Arizona home can do. Maybe the current tenant would be willing to move early but may be some negotiating. Worth a try.
Love your vibe and realness and click SO fast every time you upload. I rarely comment but I enjoyed your honesty so much in this vid and totally understand all of your feelings- so valid
look into plantation, sunrise, Tamarac or Weston! broward county is amazing!
Is buying in south Florida not an option for you guys ? You guys should check out the Davie area /southwest ranches. It’s the perfect neighborhood for a family. Feels like the country but you’re actually right there in the city. You see people riding horses, there are great parks and farmers markets and it’s so calm.
Look into Naples/ Sarasota close to home but more peaceful and less expensive. Wishing you guys the best ❤
You got this Lauren, praying that the best outcome for your family will come to light soon. Thank you for being so vulnerable and honest.
Honestly… i miss you guys in Arizona lol 😂 i live it vicariously through you two!
I suggest to rent a house in Arizona for 6-8months until your tenants lease is completed.
Big hugs!
Thank you for being so reall!!!! Mom life is HARD👏🏼
New drinking game: take a shot every time Lauren says spiraling
Lmao I was like whollyyyyyy I’m drunk off 7 shots in less than a min lmao
Srslyyyy 😂😂😂😂 I hate that word now
You, Henny, and baby
are adorable. Thanks
for dropping a vlog
update .
come back to AZ boo!!!! this is such a good place to raise a baby, not too chaotic. also, i love the tiny mic too
Hahaha My husband and I had the same issue.
Laureeeeen whenever you feel anxiety or a panic attack coming eat sour candy, it’s literally life changing. My therapist told me about it and it’s been saving my ass 🫶🏽. I personally like to keep sour skittles bc they are so small and easy to have.
