    thank you for reuniting our cuisine. i have made your stew chicken and Jollof on a few occasions it's great. Oh and it's PlanTAIN all the way :)

    You should have have used fresh ginger in the blend up ingredients, better flavour! Good job guys!!! Also, no water is needed when you blend if you use tinned/fresh tomatoes.

      But you’re also eating Jerk so it automatically reverts back to plantain (plantin). 😁

      @@PaulSu24 it sounds right to me growing up in my household so I will always say it. The one I can’t do though as a Brit, is Pomegranate as Pomganaunt.🫠😂 I love ❤️ all the differences we have in the diaspora. Love Us.

      Best rice to use is basmati rice

      @@christinap9620 yeah I use basmati but I wanted to know which rice they’re using. Looks more like easy cook long grain to me.

      @@leylak-h7939 you can trail the two rice separately, and decide anyone you prefer most, ....

      You can cook it with either basmati or long grain. If you use Long grain that it’s Nigerian jellof and Basmati is the Ghanaian way. Basmati is more favourited to use though as it cooks easier and can go with any dish, long grain is a little tougher.
