Supergiant-approved camera angle
At 15:26 we see one of the little serpent guys get hit for 39 by one hit of solar ring. At this point it’s hitting for 20 base damage + 30% from aspect of Charon + 67% from the chaos boon, for a total of 20 * 1.97, which works out to 39.4, rounded to 39. Conclusion: solar ring is affected by cast damage boons
Makes sense it would, but that also means the Arcana that increases damage in the cast doesn't work right?
@@Feraldok solar ring deals damage after the cast is gone, and you can't place a new cast until solar ring is done, so it can't ever deal damage to an enemy in your cast
Chaos boon dont count for Vow of Arrogance cause you are paying for the price of the boon with the trial of chaos therefore you arent arrogant.

Personally I like the angle, only note would be maybe flip it so that it looks more like you’re looking at the game rather than away from it.

20:41 for some insane reason breaker sprint does not apply slip, did a breaker sprint only run and was sorely disappointed
On this build, without having to catch the sould/revenants, the boons that let you throw your cast are the best of the best
Hey, I was playing with the Axe, and wanted to mention that the Special block works really well on projectiles. Or, at least against the ones from Charybdis. I haven’t had a chance to check every other projectile, but that one I did find a **lot** easier than I had.

Why the cat and not the frog? I would think the extra hp and magick would be really helpful, or is the cat DD really good?
An extra dd when you're doing the pact that prevents all healing is much more valuable the extra health doesn't rly matter. Plus it gives you an extra chance with the Engraved Pin to get that dd back.

I have a blitz build that you should try to optimize. Here's what you need.
Weapon: Aspect of thanatos axe.
Hammer, that allows you to throw your omega attack forward.
Duos: Romantic spark, and thermal dynamics.
Throw your omega attack at enemies and continuously sprint into them to keep activating blitz effect. This also keeps applying scorch at the same time. It melted chronos with ease! Lol.
Glorious disaster + Charon is one of my favorite combos

I don't understand why Vow of Arrogance isn't working
I may be dumb cause I just kinda recently got to the fear but isn't fear of rebuke free??? at worst they take 3 extra hits with the axes omega attack that should be no problem

I'm 99% sure that countering vow of arrogance with a pom is an exploit, so it feels a little dirty relying on it.

very unrelated, but I think it would be cool if we could use the old hades weapons in hades 2 with all the new boons and keepsakes. It wouldn't make sense with Beowulf shield or Hera bow, but I think it would be cool :)
