I know i'm late but this is a good mix. Those people who don't like the song don't get what it's supposed to mean. It's a cruise ship remix of "Tokyo Daylight" it's supposed to represent Shido has a grip over the entire public. It the same vein "Freedom and Security" does it too as another remix of "Tokyo Daylight"

(0:17 is where it starts) (0:34 is where the Chorus would wind down before the song would loop in Tokyo daylight) It's probably throwing you off cause "Ark" and "Freedom and Security" has no chorus like "Tokyo Daylight" does. Just imagine the main guitars as the chorus instead, that'll probably help too. Let me know if it does

Thanks! I'm glad you said that because Mateus and Guthrie are pretty much the two guitar players I've been going between the most recently. Whenever I feel like my melodic / double stop playing is weaker, I intensely listen and transcribe Mateus' stuff and when I want to work on shredding, I dig up vintage (circa 2009 - 2011) Guthrie videos :D Yeah, those Suhrs are pretty amazing ^^
Dew it! It's all about the amount of time you are willing and able to put into it. Also having nice and simple, attainable goals helps, so you can see yourself progress and not get discouraged.

I really like how your cover changes it up! I always wanted someone to 'cover' the song, but give it some more body than just a 90 second loop 3 times over. It's an amazing beat, but it's a cover like this that will make it take longer to get burnt out on it!
