Great! Let us know how the repair goes for you.
Good job bro.
Thank you!
This video was very helpful, and I have replaced both of my door gaskets. However, the doors don’t seem to close as tightly as they did with the old gaskets. Now that the gaskets are installed, is there a tip or trick to condition them to close a little better, like the old gaskets used to?
Alot of the time, just leaving them installed for some time is the best thing to do. You can also watch our door gasket restoration video here: ruclips.net/video/hQAgho-KjGc/видео.html
My flap has ripped off and I was told it's cosmetic. If I put a flashlight in the fridge I can see it with the door open. I need to replace it, right?
Yes, we think the gasket should be replaced if the flap has ripped off. The engineers wouldn't have put there flaps on the gaskets if they weren't necessary.
That was not easy
