Oh hey I'm in this video! As for his U shield buff, it does actually allow for some combo extensions after a 623H -> 5M. It mostly serves as an alternative to using a raging strike/chain if you don't want to use BP, but it's always nice to have options.
Thanks for the breakdown! Vane feels a lot better to play this patch, but his U still feels underwhelming when compared to the rest of the cast. Especially compared to a similar type of U like Soriz.
Surprised they didnt rework it but I cant complain about the rest of the changes. Very nice. It does seem they want vane to be a little gimmicky to me.
The corner carry Vane gets off of a triple attack > 623H > c.5M combo is pretty incredible. If the second triple attack into 236H causes a wall bounce but you’re not close enough to connect a 2H you can follow up with a 66H instead. It works from pretty far away.

I hope they buff his shield more, and also uh, his 5U doesn't let him die.
Yeah hos 5U is the only thing i really wish they'd buff now.
It's hard to use properly and he barely gets a reward off it.
