Also the last fight scene where they fight while protecting Andy was so kick ass. They all had great chemistry together and you felt like they fought together and were friends forever. And that speech in the van was kick ass I mean for someone to say that about you and mean it and not be ashamed is everything. I am glad they left it in the movie.

Well, I can say the movie was good. It actually surprised me the first time I saw it. Like many Netflix properties I definitely see why this wasn't on the big screen. I think the biggest way this movie failed is in the fact that the Concept is way more interesting than the story. I recognized this in the first 30 and Literally while me and my fam were watching this, I started bringing up these points like how the villains don't have a presence and my mom literally turned to me and said, "What villains?"

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I think I liked the action of the similarly-premised Ajin Demi-human series better, but this one has more heart. I especially like the scene where they realized that saving people is not pointless and that, though it is true that bad things will keep happening, the people that they save move on to do good things to more people--like a pay-it-forward thing. it had a nice hopeful message about humanity.
that constant drowning for 500+ years though is BRUTAL!

There is a manga that has a similar premise but in my opinion goes way more in-depth and terrifying. With how people react to immortality. You should take a look at it it’s really good.

One thing I didn't like about this movie, Andy should have been able to feel the difference in weight between a gun that loaded and one that's not when Booker set her up to be ambushed
