It’s an all original, 29+ year old bike that was not keep in a showroom. This bike might have 5-10 hours on it. It’s probably the nicest 1996 I personally have ever seen that has not been restored. But as far as why or how they were worn off.. the year probably has a lot to do with it
I would consider working out a price if your interested. It’s the nicest 1996 I have seen that is not restored. Message me on instagram and we can chat
Actually I have been looking into it. But it’s hard for me to find a quality that I’m willing to sell to any viewer that would want to buy some. Also it’s about selling good products at a good price. Thanks for asking and message me on instagram and I can see what we can do if you are interested in something
The 1996 was an amazing year, a lot of history in this bike and its a pretty iconic bike, hopefully we can make it better then Honda even imagined it could be.
The owner did seem to find a crank, most parts have been ordered with all kinds of really good info from our viewers to help find parts that would work. Thanks again for all your help along the way. Also I just want to make it clear that we are giving away a “Swag” package not the 1996 CR250
@narfer lol. That is why I bought it… but it’s just so perfect and everytime I think about riding it I can’t.. I have a few pretty nice bikes.. but that’s the only all original bike I have.. and it’s as perfect as perfect can get for a 30 year old non restored bike that is not in the crate.
WTF is this nonsense clickbait title? The only scam is misleading people with the name of the video. Thumbs down. Lame AF. Re-title it "spending 6mins to kickstart a cr250".
Actually the title is a play on words for previous viewers. My last video was about a viewer of the channel that was taken advantage of by a bike that just needed a “carb clean” you should have a look.. if you are new to the channel welcome. Sorry the title was not meant to be misleading but instead be a play on words.. this being the first video in the Ultimate 1996 CR250 build we are starting.
@ I’m outta luck unless Facebook is an option. Either way keep doing what your doing, great channel , I’m glad I found it , no wonder I can’t find a decent 96 , you’ve got them lol , been looking for one for a couple years and I keep missing out on the last year for the tube frame.
Love the look of the mid 90s cr's you are a lucky man. Looking forward to the rebuild.
Well thanks a lot for the comment and this build will be pretty cool I think. Hopefully a lot of guys like it
Oh boy was she rolled

@@Dirtbikerepair yes I know this bike well I hope you love it.

Yes it is a dilemma. Bikes are for riding. But it's only original once.
Exactly!! That’s why we just have to make a new 1996 with all the upgrades
I want to win
And I don’t have Instagram 😢
Well not saying you have to get Instagram…. But that’s the best was I could think of to privately message the winner.. unless you have another idea ?
