This is the Race For Destiny 2's Impossible Challenge. A challenge thought to be not only impossible, but a crazy thought to think about. Vault of Glass originally released in 2014 and then bolstered into 2021 with clan Elysium taking Worlds First for it. But as this raid was beaten by 6 players, it was beaten by 5, 4, 3, then 2, and possibly thought to be down to 1? This is.. the race for Solo Atheon, Destiny 2's impossible challenge!

On other timeline where all guardians who entered the vault were erased in time, a lone guardian pushed through the vault. With knowledge and determination, He conquered the vault of glass that no other guardian could ever do: VoteforShifu
I clear VoG/Master VoG on my titan each week. I like to assume that Atheon erased her from time, so she got so angry she thundercrashed herself back into time and headbutted Atheon's face into a cereal bowl.

Yeah man, some guardians would end up with criminal charges against them for what they would do to Crota...
Seeing as the entire thing was soloable back before we even had well of radiance and that.................yeahhhhhhhhhh might as well make it a patrol mission now
@@DragonKnight90001 ehhh, true, but it was also easier cuz we had self res which could bypass pretty much every raid mechanic in some way or another
@@Kokomatics that is also true that being said we do have a few weapons that debuff now.... did titans have melting point back in d1 i can’t remember, either way i am kinda curious to see what would happen if somebody used divinity on crota

Soloing the entire Crota's End raid in D1 was my biggest destiny achievement to date, It was so satisfying.
That was one of my favourites too. It took about 30 attempts but that was how I got the flawless raider achievement too.
My favourite would have to be solo Black Spindle, I was so proud of myself after that

Tfw my clan made out of new lights memes me for soloing Crota bcs it’s easy. BACK THEN WE DIDNT HAVE ANY FUCKING WELLS SHADESTEPS HAMMERS OR ANYTHING. Those were the dark times man
Insane video. To add even more perspective to how hard this challenge is, Baxlyy ended up calling it quits on the challenge (maybe he'll head back in later in the Season), but even 2-3 weeks after Shifu got his clear, only 5 people have even done this.

I’ve done every dungeon solo, and they’re all challenging in their own right. Mad respect to these legends, I can’t even imagine doing any raid encounter solo, let alone the final boss

There's less confusion since there's only one person tasked with keeping track of the order
Surprisingly my team never had issues with any of the oracles whatsoever... Meanwhile, besides the running straight past them strat we use now, we got stuck for like an hour on our first gorgons.
Destiny 2: Puts in 6-Man raid content.

These guys are the bar by which I set my skill goals. Currently getting good enough to solo GMs (this week I have made it to the boss room with Navota, just working out the add phases). I have died so many times, I think my clan sometimes forgets that the path to solo is paved with "No no no no no!" lmfao

This is so cool to see, I really fell off the map raid wise in destiny 2. Did the first one then had nothing but issues on second haha. Skipped 3rd then came back for forsaken but it was just way different to what I enjoyed with raids (I havent even watched new ones) so cool to see people are still killing it in raids

When Crota gets added into D2, instead of soloing Crota’s End as a challenge it’ll just be solo speedrunning Crota.
the very first week VOG came out i solo's atheon for all my friends and got a couple of them vex when it was still busted. crazy time in desticles.
I'm glad they did fix the bugs, but it was still hilarious to instakill him with the supplicant.

Two manning atheon or running him flawless for that achievement in the original game was by far the best time of my 7 years with this series.

Tea only had to do 500k damage in that last phase where the supplicant killed him. He was switching his build around when it killed him but if he had thought a little, he would have realized a nade and some power ammo would have finished it without him needing to swap builds. This could have saved his life. I know he didn’t think about that though since he had likely been on the routine for hours or days at this point of always changing the build at that spot, but dang…
