Just put a 5 inch magnaflow muffler or 2 to get rid of the drone. Its still loud asf when you get on it, but it will soften it up a bit when not on it. I got 4 inch now, but I burned a hole in it trying to weld a bracket back in place. Seeing how much air is pushing out I can see a potential increase in power going to 5 inch. I am all about as much power as I can get while attempting to hush it. Aiming for 1000hp daily life. Probably at only 800ish atm.
How much louder is it in the cab from 4” to 5”? What rpm does cab drone start on 5”? I have 4” I have to stay right under 2k rpm to avoid the loud cab drone. Thank you for time and response!
If the point is sound or loud macho sound, why not just do an electric cutout up before or just after the cat? It will be Louder than the 5" all the way through the straight pipe to the rear, and you can go back quiet when need to.

It's a "no-name brand" off Ebay. But there almost identical to Flo-Pro before they stop selling

I would say its a very noticeable difference. The drone starts around 1800 rpm. Hope this helps

Where did you get the 5” turbo back exhaust? I have a 2007 Ram dually with the 4” exhaust but want to upgrade to the 5”.
