Although he never really cared about what happened to humanity and the world (and despite being the most "average" guy ever), he still fought honkai for those people. Honestly, the best way to get to understand his character would be through the flamechasers anime called Golden Courtyard.
The Hero who took all the burden and to the point of being the "final enemy" for the sake of the future of everything for the sake of humanity. Hands down. HE IS HIM 🙌
Funnily enough before HI3rd make Kevin the grandpa of the Kaslanas, back in GGZ/Honkai Gakuen Kevin was simply a boy version of Kiana from another world. That is why even in HI3rd despite both characters lore wise having a large gap in terms of era they are from, Kevin and Kiana is so similar to one another compared to other Kaslanas. Both of them love a version of Mei, both are known to be cheerful and happy before things went to crap, both of them love baseball bat, both of them are basically the strongest hero of their respective era and both ended up harnessing the power of Finality.
I come here from hsr because I want to know who this guy is. People keep talking about elysia this and Kevin this so I guess it doesn't hurt to know what the big deal is with these hi3 characters. This video is helpful to me. His appearance in the hsr trailer made him seem like he's got main character energy so it's nice to see that he's actually an amazing character. Thank you for this video. Because this is ONE HELL OF A CROSSOVER THAT I'M TOTALLY GAME FOR! 😂
A lot is missing in this video in relation to the Honkai and Earth. Right off the bat, its very difficult for us to get to Earth. The "star rail" that is used by the majority of the Galaxy (basically hyperlanes in Star Wars) just doesn't have a path that goes to Earth. It's not IMPOSSIBLE to get back to Earth, as shown by Sparkle just showing up in HI3, but its not easy. This is basically why Welt is kind of stuck with the Astral Express. Second, the Honkai. After the events of Part 1, where Kevin dies, his descendant Kiana (the leader of the "main trio" that the vid mentioned), ascends to become the Herrscher of Finality. This is basically THE Herrscher, where others are more like imitations that only hold a fraction of Finality's Powers. As Finality, she basically has full control over the Honkai, and takes 99% the Honkai in the world and moves it to the Moon, where she's been at for... I think 8 years? So there's absolutely no chance of the Honkai coming and attacking us, should we ever find a way to Earth. In fact, Kiana now uses the Honkai to protect Earth (and the entire solar system, probably) from External Threats. So like if Nanook shows up there, she will go and fight his ass using the Honkai. Side note, DO NOT GIVE NANOOK HONKAI. Honkai translates to DESTRUCTION. It's literally in his wheelhouse. Without Kiana to control it? He'll absolutely do everything to manipulate the Honkai into fucking civilizations over.

All Aeons leave their mark on the universe in some way or another like how the Abundance left plague marks might be that Nanook is the source of Honkai since honestly any world where he or his followers appear a Stellaron happens to come into existence that causes massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems such as completely freezing of a whole planet. Also maybe some spoilers for HSR endgame, but it might be about the Destruction VS. the Finality (since Kiana is the Hersscher of Finality, and the Aeon of Finality exists in HSR too and their faction "the Stellaron Hunters" play a prominent role)
@farukmehmethanelmas8382 this is actually really easy to answer uh... Nanook is like, less than 3000 years old. The Honkai is over 50,000 years old. The Honkai actually predates a good number of Aeons. Even Lan, the Hunt, is younger. It's more likely that the Honkai was a product of the Finality Aeon, but that's also really iffy. The Lore Connection between the Honkai and the Aeons are a bit too sparse to even guess tbh.

Very important note is that the english translation of Honkai Impact 3rd is entirely wrong about the Imaginary Tree. To put it simply, the Tree is the universe, and each planet/solar system is a leaf/branch, with each world being separated by imaginary energy (I think? It might be the Sea of Quanta seperating them.)

To me what Flamechaser and Dr MEI did is league of their own like they figure out Imortality(most flame chaser can't die of old age) space travel,harnes the power of sea of quanta and Imaginary tree and that while they are being invaded by honkai and without Aeon help

The panel on @9:57 somewhat looks like when the twins went to Teyvat, it must be why there are rumors before that Genshin is related to Project Ark in Honkai Impact. Well in part 1.5 of HI3 we learnt that project ark didn't even leave the solar system because of some kind of force and the one who was sent on Ark was Griseo one of the flamechasers

The misconception that causes a lot of confusion is that it 'can make Black Hole's', which is not true. It is a Gravity Manipulation device, with it's strongest ability, it's Zeroth, being called 'Quasi-Black Hole', which basically translates to 'A thing that looks and may act similary to a Black Hole, but it isn't a real one' (TLDR: it creates a gravity well without the actual mass coresponding to the size of the gravity well). Not to mention that Herrschers themselves are categorized as Continental level threats by the people of Earth, as the biggest amount of damage that was caused was a Continent getting ripped apart. And for clarification, they are also a threat to a Bubble World (EN uses the term Bubble Universe, that however is a mistranslation, as the more accurate term is World Bubble, or Bubble World. So it is not an actual Universe, just a pocket of space (Ranging from a single building, to a city, or to a whole Planet)).

Most captain doesn't even knew about Durandal past adventure. Moreover about Anti Entropy origin.

There's 2 Kevin in hsr but ig that's abt Amphoreus Kevin. I'll try to keep it short. First, "the flame chase journey" and hi3 Kevin is a flamechaser. Second, in the trailer they said "mission of deliverance" while showing Amphoreus Kevin and, in hi3, Kevin is the flamechaser of deliverance. Third, Amphoreus is a story abt heroes and as you've seen in this video (or in hi3 directly if u play the game) they put A LOT of emphasis into Kevin being a hero. The significance behind that title is huge but i totally understand why ppl who don't play hi3 don't get it. I don't think the last point is worth mentioning but I'll still do it, Amphoreus Kevin is a carbon copy of hi3 Kevin. Just like Cyrene is a carbon copy of Elysia. And that's all we have for now, to see more similarities we have to wait for the Amphoreus update. In general, variants of a character don't have to share similarities with eachothers but Amphoreus Kevin blatantly is meant to be a parallel for hi3 Kevin.
We know nothing about him other than the fact that he survived to the next era and that he continued on the kaslana generation while Kevin left him to continue on his own. He was a normal human being so it's likely he died.
Honkai energy corrupt people, stigma kinda like mark after assimilating honkai energy. So kevin plan is to infect people with honkai and hope some people survive and got a stigma. The protagonist try to stop him.
Kiana, the main character of HI3 Part 1 has been nicknamed "tuna" by the community (IIRC, her Chinese name has a similar pronunciation as the word tuna, so that's why). Kevin was created by Mihoyo to be a male counterpart of Kiana (hence, he is known as male tuna). MEI's partner is Kevin, therefore she "has male tuna".

He didn't turn evil, its more like an Eren Yeager situation (if you watched AOT) From what I understand, Project Stigma was a cruel plan to be only used as a last resort. Kevin didn't like the plan at all but if it came down to it, he would enact it. Since all the other projects/plans failed, Kevin decided to do Project Stigma. The plan involves killing a lot of people but it in turn saves them from the Honkai. That's all he wants, to save people from the Honkai. He isn't evil.
It's not him turning evil. Project STIGMA was necessary because there was simply no other way for them to win against the Honkai. Kevin survived Herrscher of The End that ended civilization 50.000 years ago and he knows that it's better to resort to Project STIGMA where the survivors might be small BUT guaranteed, rather than Herrscher of The End who'd wipe out entire existence. That is why he resort to do the Project STIGMA, the only reason he gets defeated loke a villain because he's the final boss was because Kevin himself don't want to rely on Project STIGMA itself. So, there's three people, that trying their best to beat the Honkai (Kiana, Mei, Bronya), but Kevin knows better with their current power they ain't gonna beat the Honkai. So he, stalled for god knows how many chapters until they could surpass him. If they couldn't surpass him, there's no way for them to beat the Honkai. Whom he couldn't beat 50.000 years ago. Now he, bearing the power equivalent if not stronger than the very Herrscher of The End that wiped out the world 50.000 years ago, expected the heroes to surpass him and defeat him. It's what he referred to "flying to fall".

Amphoreus and the THIRTEEN FLAMECHASERS are somehow the Star Rail's Eidolon Resonances of the HI3's Thirteen Flamechasers, or are we Astral Express opening the gate to Earth and potentially later regretting this because we are going to unleash Honkai and the Herrschers onto the rest of the Universe, except this time if the Honkais spin out of control we'll just sack Nanook onto them?

Pretty sure Kiana has dealt with the Honkai
A lot is missing in this video in relation to the Honkai and Earth.
Right off the bat, its very difficult for us to get to Earth. The "star rail" that is used by the majority of the Galaxy (basically hyperlanes in Star Wars) just doesn't have a path that goes to Earth. It's not IMPOSSIBLE to get back to Earth, as shown by Sparkle just showing up in HI3, but its not easy.
This is basically why Welt is kind of stuck with the Astral Express.
Second, the Honkai. After the events of Part 1, where Kevin dies, his descendant Kiana (the leader of the "main trio" that the vid mentioned), ascends to become the Herrscher of Finality. This is basically THE Herrscher, where others are more like imitations that only hold a fraction of Finality's Powers.
As Finality, she basically has full control over the Honkai, and takes 99% the Honkai in the world and moves it to the Moon, where she's been at for... I think 8 years?
So there's absolutely no chance of the Honkai coming and attacking us, should we ever find a way to Earth. In fact, Kiana now uses the Honkai to protect Earth (and the entire solar system, probably) from External Threats. So like if Nanook shows up there, she will go and fight his ass using the Honkai.
Side note, DO NOT GIVE NANOOK HONKAI. Honkai translates to DESTRUCTION. It's literally in his wheelhouse. Without Kiana to control it? He'll absolutely do everything to manipulate the Honkai into fucking civilizations over.

All Aeons leave their mark on the universe in some way or another like how the Abundance left plague marks might be that Nanook is the source of Honkai since honestly any world where he or his followers appear a Stellaron happens to come into existence that causes massive changes to civilizations and ecosystems such as completely freezing of a whole planet. Also maybe some spoilers for HSR endgame, but it might be about the Destruction VS. the Finality (since Kiana is the Hersscher of Finality, and the Aeon of Finality exists in HSR too and their faction "the Stellaron Hunters" play a prominent role)

The Honkai is over 50,000 years old.
The Honkai actually predates a good number of Aeons. Even Lan, the Hunt, is younger.
It's more likely that the Honkai was a product of the Finality Aeon, but that's also really iffy. The Lore Connection between the Honkai and the Aeons are a bit too sparse to even guess tbh.
Bro chill, Amphoreus is simply a what-if episode of Elysian Realm just like Raiden Mei and Acheron, no real connection between this and HI3 world

The tragic part - something that we'd never considered - was that this bird's fate had already been determined long before this moment... Its destiny was determined by our momentary whim.

Very important note is that the english translation of Honkai Impact 3rd is entirely wrong about the Imaginary Tree. To put it simply, the Tree is the universe, and each planet/solar system is a leaf/branch, with each world being separated by imaginary energy (I think? It might be the Sea of Quanta seperating them.)

Sea of quanta is like the absolute reverse of the imaginary tree, they are like light and darkness, their existence negate each other, the imaginary tree births life, nurture it and send it trials in the form of basically Honkai, the leafs(worlds) that fails their trials wither and fall to linger around aimlessly in the sea of quanta where they can’t support themselves as their energy will eventually deplete, plus sky people harvesting worlds that fell to the sea, in layman’s terms, imaginary tree is universe prime with the sea being the worlds that vibrate with a different frequencies from universe prime, both of the imaginary tree and the sea compete, one want to drink the sea, and the later want to drown the tree
What you mentioned tho, the imaginary energy between worlds is a real thing but it’s between true worlds on the Tree, meaning between the leafs, that’s why some worlds are unreachable, and Kiana’s world succeeding in stopping Honkai and Kiana controlling the cocoon, earth now has the strongest Barriers between it and the outer worlds, basically the densest imaginary energy between it and the outside universe, thus hiding it from the outer beings, not just aeons and emanators but also the outer gods which basically beings from outside the tree and the sea .

i wouild need a longer video explaining the details of the eras and stuff, cuz i played hi3 just for a while and this just made me more confused of where it all fits into the timeline, I honestly barely understood anything, like are there different copies of the characters in different eras, and if so, which is which and how did they appear in the game and what's the correlation, as well as the relative powerscaling

The misconception that causes a lot of confusion is that it 'can make Black Hole's', which is not true. It is a Gravity Manipulation device, with it's strongest ability, it's Zeroth, being called 'Quasi-Black Hole', which basically translates to 'A thing that looks and may act similary to a Black Hole, but it isn't a real one' (TLDR: it creates a gravity well without the actual mass coresponding to the size of the gravity well).
Not to mention that Herrschers themselves are categorized as Continental level threats by the people of Earth, as the biggest amount of damage that was caused was a Continent getting ripped apart. And for clarification, they are also a threat to a Bubble World (EN uses the term Bubble Universe, that however is a mistranslation, as the more accurate term is World Bubble, or Bubble World. So it is not an actual Universe, just a pocket of space (Ranging from a single building, to a city, or to a whole Planet)).
hang on, the ship made for project valuka is the astral express! its chained a bit but overall, its still a train that can travel through worlds. if welt made it to hsr then what if project valuka eventually found this place in the imaginary tree. what if akiavali was Su. like, look at it, the color scheme and design is so similar AND it even has the same like, revolver barrel part a bit down the main car as project valuka does

There's 2 Kevin in hsr but ig that's abt Amphoreus Kevin. I'll try to keep it short.
First, "the flame chase journey" and hi3 Kevin is a flamechaser. Second, in the trailer they said "mission of deliverance" while showing Amphoreus Kevin and, in hi3, Kevin is the flamechaser of deliverance. Third, Amphoreus is a story abt heroes and as you've seen in this video (or in hi3 directly if u play the game) they put A LOT of emphasis into Kevin being a hero. The significance behind that title is huge but i totally understand why ppl who don't play hi3 don't get it. I don't think the last point is worth mentioning but I'll still do it, Amphoreus Kevin is a carbon copy of hi3 Kevin. Just like Cyrene is a carbon copy of Elysia.
And that's all we have for now, to see more similarities we have to wait for the Amphoreus update.
In general, variants of a character don't have to share similarities with eachothers but Amphoreus Kevin blatantly is meant to be a parallel for hi3 Kevin.

We know nothing about him other than the fact that he survived to the next era and that he continued on the kaslana generation while Kevin left him to continue on his own. He was a normal human being so it's likely he died.

Kiana, the main character of HI3 Part 1 has been nicknamed "tuna" by the community (IIRC, her Chinese name has a similar pronunciation as the word tuna, so that's why). Kevin was created by Mihoyo to be a male counterpart of Kiana (hence, he is known as male tuna). MEI's partner is Kevin, therefore she "has male tuna".

Back in The Moon and Finality Origin, Kevin explain about the whole samsara and cuz of that that we know in HI3 plot, Kiana and Kevin is just the same person that born in different era. Going even deeper it The Imaginary. Different have different version of them. They could have similar fate, same gender or different genders like Kevin/Kiana

He didn't turn evil, its more like an Eren Yeager situation (if you watched AOT)
From what I understand, Project Stigma was a cruel plan to be only used as a last resort. Kevin didn't like the plan at all but if it came down to it, he would enact it.
Since all the other projects/plans failed, Kevin decided to do Project Stigma. The plan involves killing a lot of people but it in turn saves them from the Honkai.
That's all he wants, to save people from the Honkai. He isn't evil.
It's not him turning evil. Project STIGMA was necessary because there was simply no other way for them to win against the Honkai. Kevin survived Herrscher of The End that ended civilization 50.000 years ago and he knows that it's better to resort to Project STIGMA where the survivors might be small BUT guaranteed, rather than Herrscher of The End who'd wipe out entire existence.
That is why he resort to do the Project STIGMA, the only reason he gets defeated loke a villain because he's the final boss was because Kevin himself don't want to rely on Project STIGMA itself.
So, there's three people, that trying their best to beat the Honkai (Kiana, Mei, Bronya), but Kevin knows better with their current power they ain't gonna beat the Honkai. So he, stalled for god knows how many chapters until they could surpass him. If they couldn't surpass him, there's no way for them to beat the Honkai. Whom he couldn't beat 50.000 years ago. Now he, bearing the power equivalent if not stronger than the very Herrscher of The End that wiped out the world 50.000 years ago, expected the heroes to surpass him and defeat him. It's what he referred to "flying to fall".
He never was evil. Everything he does is necessary
