How to Send Emails with Adalo - Using Integromat & Custom Actions - Tutorial 🤓

- Learn how to send emails from Adalo to your users. Send welcome emails, email notifications and more.
In this tutorial we are using Integromat because it does not require you to upgrade in order to use Webhooks. Zapier would also work but you will need to upgrade to PRO to use their Webhooks feature (even to test it).

You cannot send files with Adalo's Custom Actions (API calls).

I chose Integromat because it can do more than sending emails.
Once you know how to use Integromat you can automate many useful things.
With Intrgromat you can trigger things to happen after X Hours, when a user added something to the database, when a user edited something and much more.

I am wondering if it's easy to export data and images from an Adalo dataset / Collection to for example a PPT, PDF or an excel file.
We have this project where we need to export a product catalog with some data and images that we will send to our clients... How is this possible and is there better options than Adalo ?
hi! great video! i was wondering if it is possible to send an email from the logged in customer's email with integromat? IE a way for a user to use their gmail to send emails at the click of a button in an Adalo app?
Hi Savina, that will not be possible because that would mean that you can pretend you are any user. Email providers don't allow you to do that without the owner of that Email adding your Email Servers IPs to their DNS, which a normal user will not do.
If I create a session, then in next module call a webhook will that work for integration of the customer portal in adalo?

My webhook send emails tow times for every request. .Is it normal?
I can use a database created in adalo instead of using a custom action?
Adalo does not have a feature to send emails so you need to call a custom action to trigger a different tool to send the email for you. In this video I showed how to do it with Integromat.
