I got word from Adalo that the component will finish review THIS WEEK :)

@@fredmitschele4646 Adalo said they can release it for "web apps" but not yet for mobile apps because the component needs the microphone permission which Adalo needs to pass through from the component up to the app manifest file. It's a bit painful to wait for that long for the component.
Adalo also raised $8M. Hope they put it to good use.
Interesting that with this version it can access the microphone, but with a component it’s much more complicated. Thanks for all your hard work!
Does the users get a notification when a user makes an audio room?

@@pushingpandas6479Adalo is already working on releasing it - they need to double check and approve it. It has to work on iOS and Android and the audio sharing permissions need to be taken care of by Adalo as well.
My prediction is 2 weeks from now.
This is great! I can’t wait until the BONUS component is live in Adalo. A couple of notes I’d share on the UX if you’re integrating this as part of a larger build: Add a “Close” icon and back link to your “Create Audio Room” modal. If an AUDIO ROOM CREATOR user hits the back button from Webview screen after creating the room it puts them in the circle of death where they're stuck between creating a new audio room and Webview especially if the owner of the audio room doesn’t follow the expected logic of closing out the room. OR have the back button from Webview link directly to your lists of audio rooms. This circumvents the circle of death.

The swipe left/right feature will be tricky with some No-Code tools. But other than that (though swiping IS important for Tinder) it is easy to create the mechanics of it.

how do i add audio option like how yahoo use to be, where you had control of the mic as long as you were holding the mic button?

hello! i need help with with jam room component. i have done everything that is required but there’s is an error message that keeps on popping up it says “server IP address could not be found”. Please help
How does an audience exit the room? The video shows how the creator of the room can close the room but not the audience. It will help if you can share more information about this or can this be done by pressing the "leave" in the audio chat room?
I followed everything else but everytime I click creat audio room it won't put me in a room. Even though I linked it to an audio room.
Amazing video..great to follow and learn. Will Adalo have the option to upload video posts? and have video chat rooms soon?
I hope Michael can do this for us as he is the best instructor for Adalo on RUclips now and the best guy to get this done!

Adalo does not allow for video posts yet as videos are pretty big to host and stream to users.
Video hosting can be done using backendless.com, uploading the videos there and then showing them in Adalo by calling the backendless API.
But recording and uploading is still not possible with Adalo, unfortunately.
For now, videos can be shown if they already exist on RUclips for example but creating and uploading videos still needs a proper solution for Adalo.

Hi! Great Video! I was just wondering if their was a way to delete the room automatically from the database instead of manually deleting the rooms that are not shown. Thanks!
Hi Ray, if you would want to delete the room automatically, you'd need a trigger for that. When shall the room be deleted?
Once you have that trigger you can tell Adalo to close/delete the room.
One example would be to connect Integromat (bit.ly/3owfj3p) to your app and trigger the Close Room via an API call to Adalo at the perfect time.
For example after X hours passed.
But let me know "when" you want to close/delete the room and maybe I know a solution.
Thanks for the tutorial. Already tried it myself last week. Unfortunately iOS app is crashing as the app's Info.plist must contain an NSMicrophoneUsageDescription key with a string value explaining to the user how the app uses this data which is not yet the case. Will this be somehow bypassed from your new adalo component?
We are talking to Adalo about this issue right now. We do want to have this fixed with the component yes.

Sir you gave the homework in the previous tutorial(how to use chat messages in adalo) about expanding image when we click on image .please cover that part in next video,i tried very well but I can't fond that.

You can set a link on that image, set the transition to Modal, and link to a new screen where that same image is shown in full screen.

That is very strange. I don't work at Adalo but I think it's a Adalo bug.

They still did not enable microphone permissions on Adalo.
Not sure why they are so slow.
hey..i have a problem here...error messages says; the room id does not exist yet.
what might be the problem?
You should see a button to "Start the Room".
After that you are automatically the Admin of that room and the room should open up.
Once the room is open, every other user will just see the "JOIN" button.
Michael Lonita can you help me with the search button "Text Input" in adalo, because in my "App" dont works...

@@michaelionita I'm trying to get Text Input to search for example, my app is a lost and found for a school assignment and I'm having problems with Text Input because when I search for example "Backpack", Text Input doesn't search for Backpack in that tab

That is strange.
Make sure you set a Link from the Post/Image to the new screen.
This way you should be able to display that same image on the next screen.

How to add a button to change the theme color by the user? And how to add video calls, audio calls that all the members in that rooms can chat and how to make a button or something to make groups by the users?

In Adalo you cannot change the theme/colors for the app dynamically.
I tried to add video calls but that is not possible because of some permission issues in Adalo, for now.
Where can I download the component? Its not in the marketplace and I don't have access to your development stack?!
Give it 2 weeks and Adalo will release it (that's my prediction).

@@pushingpandas6479 I would love to but the component I was using was running code on my laptop so that it can run inside Adalo at all. So it would not help you much - when my laptop sleeps the component would not work.
Adalo is making great progress and the component will be out very soon.
How can I add a photo filter to my App?
That is not possible with Adalo at the moment.
I have issues when uploading a photo, error" permission denied". Yet all the app permissions are allowed on my phone.

There are no ready-made plugins yet like JAM is working on right now for audio rooms.
But VideoKit seems to have an iFrame solution, which translated to a "Webview" in Adalo.

Maybe you can simply not show the username of a person in the chat?
But a chat without a user being logged in will not work as it would be to unstable working with cookies and such. I don't recommend.
