Pregnancy Care in Sweden - My own Experience | Indian in gothenburg | in English

In this video, I will take you to the Ostra Sjukhuset Hospital, where I go for a checkup. You will see how the maternity care system works in Sweden, and how the midwives and doctors helped me throughout my pregnancy.
Sweden is a very safe and supportive place to give birth, with one of the lowest maternal mortality rates in the world. The entire birth process is managed by midwives, who are highly trained and experienced professionals. They provide personalized care and guidance for each mother and baby. If there are any complications or health issues, they will refer you to a hospital doctor who can assist you further.
The Ostra Sjukhuset Hospital is one of the largest maternity hospitals in Sweden, with over 6,000 births per year. It has modern facilities and equipment, as well as comfortable rooms and amenities for mothers and their families. The hospital also offers various classes and activities for pregnant women and new parents, such as yoga, massage, breastfeeding support, and baby care.
In this video, you will meet my midwife, who accompanied me during my pregnancy. She was very kind and supportive and made sure I was comfortable and informed at all times. She also helped me with the paperwork and registration of my baby in the Swedish population register. You will also meet my doctor, who checked on me and scan my baby. He gave me some advice and a plan for the delivery.
