Hi Sujitha very sorry to hear about your friend. It’s quite rare such unfortunate incident happens however specially for kids the care is good here.

Thanks alot really needed this info, but one question, in my first delivery which unfortunately was c section because my baby passed muconium although I was having contractions but in intervals, I was admitted but when the doctor checked that the baby is in stress and passed muconium then they asked me if you want to wait or go for operation so obviously I couldn't take risk with my baby so I had to go for operation, so here in Sweden if I would be sent home and god forbids something like this happens then shall I still wait for the time, as I wouldn't be knowing whether baby is fine or not.. please answer
Hi komal, if ur have aby doubt or its complicated delivery, I suggest you do your delivery in India where u get immediate attention. In Sweden, its little tricky and they do encourage normal delivery even if ur first one is c section. Check itmmjr health and everything and then decide .take care
@@SparklewithJyoti thanks for your quick reply, I can't move anywhere for delivery, ( my first delivery was in Pakistan),also I'm on residence permit for one year only, so as I have heard that the medical treatment and service is not good here so I was very concerned, I appreciate normal delivery but what can a mother do in labor whose baby has passed muconium, thanks I will ask the midwife about this whenever I'll meet her. And one more question, is it necessary that a senior male doctor checks you up at the time of delivery?
US is also pretty same except that midwife funda.
I was there with my wife in the same room and it's almost mandatory for husbands to be there.
And here also they only admit when you have labor pain and focus on normal delivery.
But I love hospitals here , almost you get 5 star facilities, though payment is also 5 star😄
Im gonna have my baby in 3 weeks here in Sweden , but I'm concerned, my midwife says my baby is fine and he come in the right position but what would happen for example if in my labor day everything gets complicated and I'm not able to have my baby normally, I was wondering if they also give you the option for a c section in case of labor complications ? This is my first baby how you know is time to go to the hospital , I read that here in Sweden you have to be at least with 4 cm of dilatation, but how I would know that ? I'm guessing that I have to have really painful contractions every 8 minutes, right ? I'm so scared 😣😖

What about citizenship or PR if child born in Sweden ??
If child born in Sweden, same status as parents. There is no citizenship by birth.child will need Indian passport and Pr.
Someone just told me that Social will come and check on your home before/early days with your baby?? Is this true?
Yes first time the nurse visits to make sure mother and baby are safe.

Hello Jyothi. This is Anil. I am also from Gothenburg. Your video was very informative. My wife is pregnant now and she wants to know information about the pain reliefs available during active labour.
Thank you....congratulations 🎉 yes thre is epidural available but you have to inform prior in advance to your midwife that you want epidural during childbirth. Also nitrogen gas which is called laughing gas is available here which helps. Tell her to focus on breathing deeply in and out and that helps a lot. Best of luck 👍

What are the total cost of delivering or other hospital charges?
It depends on how many days you stay in the hospital. But mostly around 1000 SEk.
Does age matters during pregnancy in Sweden?
Not really....average age of women getting pregnant in Sweden is 38 years...
