Great video and hope that you had a good time in Europe. Many moons ago (1994) I flew Delta into CVG from Frankfurt Germany. It was on a Lockheed L1011. The flight was 11 hours long. Once on the ground Customs was a breeze (it helped being active-duty military with an ID). My connection was on a Delta Comair Saab 340 to Fort Wayne IN.
Hopefully I can find one of these flights. Being in central Ohio I like the idea of connecting in CVG especially since they tend to have better weather compared to DTW. ATL is too far and BOS is as well.
This will no longer be CVG's sole transatlantic service because effective June 5, 2023, British Airways will fly from CVG to London Heathrow using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft
Nice video! You covered CVG's then only nonstop transatlantic flight. I was wondering when a trip report like this would happen. It sounds like fun being on inaugural flights.
I've always thought this route was interesting. It really exists only thanks to General Electric. Similar to the unusually large assortment of flights (for a small regional airport) out of XNA, thanks to the Walmart corporate headquarters.
I am loyal to United, and Delta (through the end of the year) so I try to avoid American, and OneWorld as a whole because of poor customer service, reliability, etc.
Im going on that flight in a month!

Upgrading to a 767-400 on March 25th. Glad we have the Paris flight back, it has been a rough 2 years for us.
Now we have Speedbird too :)

That's correct, and I'll be onboard that inaugural flight as well!
Great video. Oh, and this is the sole trans-Atlantic service...for now. British Airways will start flying from CVG to Heathrow later in 2023.
Thanks! I am booked on that inaugural as well!
I’m assuming the temporary suspension of this route was pandemic related.
Wow, how exciting!!! Magnificent job my friend!!! Absolutely love the channel ❤️😊👍👌💜keep up the great work

Please note that at the time of filming that was the only passenger transaltanic flight out of cvg

** and Safran (based in Paris), Procter and Gamble etc
I'm just curious, why don't you cover American Airlines often?

Nice video, super jealous! How long did you stay?
Thanks! I spent 2 nights in Barcelona, 2 nights in Madrid and a night in Dublin!
I would be really frustrated not being able to sleep due to crying babies
