Super excited. Awesome flight attendants. Captain and First Officer using their first names Chris and Ashley, not Captain X but Chris! How times have changed. Clearly an airline aimed at a different generation to me.
i might have flown this aircraft when it was in azul's fleet. these embraer e-jets are my favorite, comfortable, the 2x2 config is very spacious (at least in azul config)
A wonderful recording of a travelling milestone you lucky man!! What an atmosphere...makes me jealous! So good to share the experience here in Thailand! Keep up the great work!
It's great to see Breeze launch and provide service on the CHS to TPA route. Silver Airways used to fly non-stop to Tampa and I am glad the service is back. I really like the Embraer jets, suprisingly good amount of room for a small jet. Nice trip report!
Yeah but the first gen E190-195 have high trip costs and maintenance costs higher than what they should be. That's why Airlines are rushing to replace them. The newer gen E190-E2 and E195-E2 are supposed to be better but the engines on the older 190-195 are maintenance heavy and expensive to operate. The E170 and E175 do not have this problem, however. And regional airlines are rushing to purchase them to replace their older and aging E170's and E175's
Very nice vid and so excited you were on the inaugural flight..The E-jets are my favorite regional planes and the E-195 doesn't feel that small anyway. The 2-2 seat-config. with no middle seat is a winner for me..I wonder though if the low-cost model can truly work on a smaller plane with just 118seats, as all LCCs are focusing on 150/180-seaters and up for lower per seat mile cost, lower fares, more revenue etc..Even Jetblue is giving up on E190s and focusing on the A223..Then again Neeleman's Azul has been flying the Ejets and now the E2-jets for years..(along the A320s)
Thanks for posting this! I actually had a ticket for the seat in front of you, but had to cancel because of a schedule conflict. Can't wait to use my credit on the inaugural a220 flight in a "nicest" seat.
Don't remember seeing those boarding pass gates before the people mover last time I was down in TPA... Guess I'll see what that's like this weekend when I'm down that way again...
Thanks for not speeding up the take-off and landing (or editing them out to another video altogether). I suspect most followers enjoy those elements of flying as much as I do. Great vid!
Thank you for sharing the video and more importantly, using a font that we can actually read on the screen. (I think you are the first?) One quick question... what exactly was the surprise gift? It looked like a USB light but you didn't say exactly what it was?
According to their website, the snacks & drink will continue for the "Nicer" fare but the "Nice" fare will switch to a snack/drink purchase program. Were there any pax that were onboard because they were flying to CHS or mostly employees, media, & airline enthusiasts?
If I'm not mistaken I thing Breeze makes 3 airlines that use gates C44 and C45 now, Alaska, Sun Country, and now Breeze. It sucks that construction on Airside D was delayed. Designing on the terminal was supposed to start back in March of this year with a projected opening of 2024, and offer 16 more gates for domestic and international flights, but now construction won't even begin until 2025.
I just meant that they serve more smaller/ rural markets currently. And yes I know not ALL of either airlines are smaller or rural but they serve a lot of similar cities. But I agree the size of aircraft is different between breeze and boutique. Have a nice day.
I am a blind customer and I am unable to use the app or website. Does anybody have a contact email for the company so I can send them a request to make their app and website accessible to the blind? Thank you for your help
Have they sorted out the hiring policy of Cabin Crew with the Flight Attendants Union . Will the Pilots and Cabin Crew finally get paid a decent living wage? Or did David Neeleman win this one?
do any of yall know that breeze airlines the CEO and president is the Owner of (JETBLUE Airways) who came up with the idea to make another airplane under the ownership of Jetblue

Great report my friend! I wish I could've taken it with you all, but glad you and many others were able to document it!

Good luck! Embraer makes a great aircraft.
My favorite plane to fly when I'm not flying across the pacific is the Embraer E-175.

Great Video. It is so rare to see some good news lately regarding the airline industry, so thanks!
I love the outside and the color of the plane! The interior looks clean and classy! ✅
La Compagnie livery inspiration!
Great video, none of the usual yada yada narration that takes away from the experience.
All of that clapping for everything was so wholesome. XD

Yay for Tampa ! Great news ! Great video! Thank you!
The elevator ride at the beginning is the icing on the cake for both elevators and aviation enthusiasts like me
Thanks for the video, was going to be on CHS-BDL but unfortunately had a work obligation come up, so I'm happy I can see it from here.
I really hope they come to Flint Mi. Bishop International Airport could use them.
Nice coverage of the inaugural flight! Sure looks great to be in the air again! 👌🏻👌🏻

Fantastic Airlines
Breeze Airways (November 190 Brother Zoom)
the new E2 195 are bigger and higher and more fulfilled , some airports in brazil of small and medium size had to make adaptations to receive it
🍎Wow!,loved the blue color of this✈ plane
Been waiting a while for this to happen! Great first flight dude! 😁✈️
What engine do they use on that plane? Seems like a very quiet engine
General Electric CF34-10E
Awesome inaugural trip report! And I just subscribed
Dang it I missed an airline inaugural again, oh well. Great video btw!
Finally after what the world been thought I'm just glad to see everything here is a breeze✈🛩🛫🛬 💯💯💯😁😁😁
From the vids, I like both breeze and avelo
A fantastic report! Great video
I absolutely love this Thank you so very much for sharing❤😁💯💯💯
Can't wait to fly with Breeze some day! Liked and subbed :)
Nice video! They seem to be a great airline to fly with. It's amazing that tickets for this flight were sold out in 10 minutes :)
That landing was so smooth! Hope to fly with them in the future
Excellent trip report. What an awesome cake!
I really hope they introduce transcontinental flights from Long Island/Islip NY! I believe they have already set up a maintenance base there.
Very nice. Good luck Breeze💙
New adventure, chapter and challenge since such a competitive business. Good luck breeze!
Great video and review! Congrats!
Loving how this all looks!
awesome !!! Thank you so much for posting this .
Good luck to Breeze Airways!
I was flying this day, but I wish I knew such an airline existed before this day.
Excellent coverage and great video!

Thanks! It was a portable fan, perfect for hot days!
Breeze was just added here at Columbus
So basically they remade the old JetBlue (when it was still good) with comfortable seats and such?
Flights are at a very low price to like come on
Maybe I'm just used to taking trains but legroom looks less than decent. what are the seat pitch for the two classes?
A friend referred me to this airline. Now I am going to New Orleans from Louisville in January! 👏👏
Neeleman is going to go down in history as a genius when it comes to making airlines. Breeze will be a success no doubt.
Did they toast with orange juice😂. Great video man! I’ll have to try breeze out some time!
They by chance are gonna be in future going to expand to Canadian airport slots?
in brazil all azul airplanes have inflight entertainment , live tv , movies and the seats are the same as breeze... azul is the best.
Beautiful plane flies well,sucess Breeze
According to their website, the snacks & drink will continue for the "Nicer" fare but the "Nice" fare will switch to a snack/drink purchase program. Were there any pax that were onboard because they were flying to CHS or mostly employees, media, & airline enthusiasts?
Nope it was all employees media and enthusiasts
@@theplanesguy I turned 22 on May 27th
Was this free because of the inauguration flight or is the drink and snacks complimentary like any flight?
Excellent video!

I have the feeling this might be the new Midwest Express Airlines!
Unless Breeze starts serving those warm chocolate chip cookies... 🍪
We see your jets every day as we handle UPS flights by the SW Term.
Good Luck Brezze!!!!!!!!!
Could you please do last time aircraft view?
I work at Burbank airport new airline just began. Avelo airlines good luck to all.
Avelo was great when I was on their first flight!
Doesn’t silver do his route too?
Yes
Yep giving some competition tho
@@codysinks4595 bruh moment
They will be making quite a few connections out of New Orleans, MSY.
Do you hear the clapping or it just me
Did they clap when the first person went to the lavatory?🙄
and it serves my city! and its 39 bucks!
this airline is already my favourite!
Charleston used to be a SUPER expensive place to do business. Hope they've changed.
Wish all the best to Breeze and Neeleman!
Looking forward to fly with Breeze!
I thought they said they were gonna be replacing the seats with more standard low cost ones?
I think they are once they get their A220’s
Great video!!!!!
Since you have nice and nicer seats, are there any nicest seats for the ultra rich?
They can fly private 🤣
Didn’t the founder of Jet Blue start this?
Seems like a great airline. I would try it😊
Embraer, best planes in their class. No annoying middle seats. Wait until you fly a new E2. Super silent.
😂 boarding was a “breeze” love it. Was not aware of this airline but it reminds me of a boutique air so I will need to go experience both
How does a 118 seat Embraer 195 remind you of Boutique air? Their largest plane has 8 seats
I just meant that they serve more smaller/ rural markets currently. And yes I know not ALL of either airlines are smaller or rural but they serve a lot of similar cities. But I agree the size of aircraft is different between breeze and boutique. Have a nice day.
love the videos 😍😎 #so jealous.
Have you been to MIA ever ? Do you know of any good restaurants or hotels that are good for plane spotting?
Been to MIA many times and there’s no good restaurants but the Hilton Miami airport is good
@@theplanesguy thank you for the info. im headed there soon for the first time. It will be my first 787 trip hopefully as well. 😎
Very quiet engine!

Welcome to TPA my home airport.
Very nice.
No onboard entertainment? To me jetBlue still has the advantage here as the lowcost carrier.
They will have it on their A220s I believe
I like that they include a free roller coaster ride with the flight.
The aircraft is BRAZILLIAN, y’all! Thumbs up for your choice!

Neeleman doesn't replicate some import element from JetBlue or Azul; In-flight entertainment.
Sad
center line it then firewall it. Rotate
2:08 Nice pun
So now what ? JetBlue is becoming AA ?
BREEEEEETHE
THEIR MAIN HUB WILL BE LONG ISLANDS ISLIP AIRPORT
E195 looks like tight quarters like the E170/175
They're not.
do any of yall know that breeze airlines the CEO and president is the Owner of (JETBLUE Airways) who came up with the idea to make another airplane under the ownership of Jetblue
Everyone complain about how the seats are tight on Frontier and Spirit and now it's even got smaller and tighter Lol
Imagine trying to speak like that with all those cameras in your face XD
Sardines Airlines
They’ve done a horrible marketing job. I don’t know a single person who has heard of this “Spirit 2.0”.
