Someone in the ILNP group on Facebook recommended using the Mooncat brushes in the ILNP polishes to have a wide brush. Mooncat does sell their brushes in sets of six (and they are rewards too). So I got some and tried it and the brush fits the ILNP bottle perfectly! I prefer the wider brush so this was such a win!
omg thats soo funny to think the mooncat brushes fit, idk if my brain can get past the caps being mismatched like that LOL but i do appreciate you recommending bc the mooncat brush is really nice!! i’ve heard Cupcake Polish sells replacement brushes that fit into ILNP’s, but I think I’m gonna hold out hope for ILNP to jump on the brush replacement bandwagon 😝
@@PolishedYogi I pull out the ILNP brushes and swap them out with the Cupcake Polish brush so you have the ILNP cap still! Can confirm it works great (but thanks to this comment thread, I might try the Mooncat brush next!)
Some of my favorite older ILNP collections would be summer ultra holos 2018, sugar lush collection, summer feels collection, & the all nighter collection! I also love sweet pea, rosewater, & dream girl :) I think you’d like them too!

One of the reasons these videos are so helpful is because I’ve found the website swatches to not always be the most reliable, as you’ve pointed out with the periwinkle shade. I often have to spend a good chunk of time verifying my wishlist against Insta (and hoping people tag things properly there) and general google searches.
that’s true too! sometimes there’s some inaccuracies, when it comes to Bulletproof Symphony I don’t remember how it looked in other swatches so i’ll have to find them, but so far that seems to have been the only polish I had an issue with re color accuracy. at least they aren’t as bad as Cirque for example lol 🙈
wow Lilac Bridges is a HUGE win, it looks soo similar to the idealised Cirque photo! love that for you 😆 i LOVE that ILNP keeps its shades and all in stock. no grief or anxiety there. The Ultra Metallics will all tarnish over time. Bulletproof Symphony is a perfect example. When I first purchased it, it definitely looked like the website photos but now it looks like the bottle you received. I stopped buying them because of the tarnishing issue.
ahh so its similar to what happens with Holo Taco’s Frosted Metals.. that’s a bummer! but totally makes sense because I swear my bottle of Juliette looks a lot darker like a bronze than the coppery rose gold it used to be 😣

By Nightfall reminds me of Cold Shoulder by HT. HT retired the shade because of what the flakes to do the color over time. My ILMP wishlist is their 9-5 collection. They're gorgeous, nude, scattered holo polishes. I need them! 😍

@PolishedYogi Cold Shoulder was somewhere between Shady Navy & Roal Tea Blue when it was fresh. Now....not so much. Mine is pretty muddy. I can see why they retired the shade. Sparkly neutrals is how I got the rules for nail polish essentially dropped at my job. 😁 they said neutrals only without saying anything about toppers, glitter, or nail art. They were sick of printing new dress code manuals bc of one petty person. 🤣

So happy you like Bloodline!!! I recommended it. As far as older collections, the Summer Nights collection has always caught my eye and I like a lot of the hatched collection. Fall into Equinox, 9 to 5 and Sugar Lush also make me curious. I really want the overcast collection that they just released. So perfect for winter into spring.

I bought Holly during the BF sale, along with a lot from the 2023 holiday collection. But wow, I must have forgotten about Vanity and Carrie. Those two just went right on my wish list. Lilac Bridges has been on my radar for years, but I never bought it. I'll have to change that. It's beautiful.

I truly appreciate that I don’t have to deal with FOMO and have a more relaxing purchase experience with this brand. Now I wanna re-watch this video. i’m so glad you really liked Lilac Bridges too! esp if you were eyeing Fata Morgana, I’m glad some people had good bottles but I think it’s too risky to take the chance and buy it if it might come faded :( and yes for sure!! I love that ILNP has a pretty regular release schedule, and no LE polishes/collections! 🙌🏼 haha I would LOVE if they sent me more of their older collections too!! They have such classics in their catalogue. but also hoping to share new shades as well 😉
Nice haul! Set Sail will definitely be in my next haul! It will be unique in my collection & the jelly formula is my favorite! Seriously thinking of adding Bloodline, too.
Really pretty haul! So glad you finally got your Fata Morgana colors!! If you like soft colors in the metallic flakie formula I would recommend Mila it is quite unique and if you like purples I was really pleasantly surprised at how beautiful Purple Plasma was. It is more of a summer color, though.💜
So happy you liked Lilac Bridges! Finally you are closer to what you expected Fata Morgana to be. I do liked the ILNP foil metallic formula. I have a couple, including a Black Friday purchase of Good as Gold from the Golden Hour collection. They seem to have more base color than HT. Wonderful video and comparisons, as always! Lilac Bridges hops on and off my wishlist quit often but this may have convinced me to pick it up. Older ILNP favs for me would be Sandy Baby (2016) and Better Days (no idea on release date). I would repurchase either of these if I ever ran out, they are some of my favorites in my whole collection of polishes. I was wondering if you did a comparison between Set Sail and Cirque’s Sapphire? I imagined it would be a bit like the Vanity and Amethyst comparison, similar color but with slightly different sparkle?

I'm not the biggest linear holo fan (scatter all the way) but that one gleams and shifts even in low/poor light. I love it. I FINALLY got Fairy Dust and Pixie Party 🧚🏽♀after lusting for months by way of combining points and a coupon, basically got one polish free --- oh, that's the other great thing about them is their rewards! 🥰

Recently had a mini haul of ILNP to get a few spring shades and round out what I was missing from the resort collection (currently sporting a gradient of Snowstorm and Aspen with ❄️ stamping!) after someone convinced me! 😜 I wanted to try and hold out to see if they were gonna do a Valentine’s Day release but alas…self control wasn’t there 😅

i was sooo happy lol!! 🥹 it still makes me wonder how they would actually compare, like some people mentioned their Fata Morgana is still purple and wasn’t faded like mine. I thinkk Cirque’s has more of a holo sparkle, but I feel like I kind of saw it in ILNP too! and yeahh I really had the Dreamscape set on my wishlist for a while but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the formulas.. I definitely think it’ll still be worth trying, worst case scenario if you aren’t happy, i’m sure ILNP would refund you or send a replacement!
I purchased Bloodline based on another of your videos. Excited to try it! I enjoyed Iconic as a pretty holiday gold and enjoyed Sled Day too. Prancer is a great neutral. I wore it over Thanksgiving because I did much cooking and needed something that could take a beating and still look nice. My last purchased and yet to try is Aspen. Oh, and I bought and love Ballet Slipper. It looks a bit warmer and more neutral than a lot of the photos I’ve seen but it’s pretty. Definitely keeping an eye on this brand.

I'm surprised you needed more than 2 coats for Set Sail! I have the whole At Sea collection and I love Set Sail (and pssst,Carried Away in the collection is a ... PERIWINKLE ... color). I still think you would really enjoy Sandcastle from ILNP...a lovely taupe. It's not "exciting" compared to some of the punchier colors you got, but Sandcastle is handsdown my favorite neutral. Lilac Bridges in interesting!

Yes, my Juliette is unappealing now. The only one that has tarnished into a nice shade is Limelight, it's now a grungey olive.

So happy you like Bloodline!!! I recommended it. As far as older collections, the Summer Nights collection has always caught my eye and I like a lot of the hatched collection. Fall into Equinox, 9 to 5 and Sugar Lush also make me curious. I really want the overcast collection that they just released. So perfect for winter into spring.

I bought Holly during the BF sale, along with a lot from the 2023 holiday collection. But wow, I must have forgotten about Vanity and Carrie. Those two just went right on my wish list. Lilac Bridges has been on my radar for years, but I never bought it. I'll have to change that. It's beautiful.

i’m so glad you really liked Lilac Bridges too! esp if you were eyeing Fata Morgana, I’m glad some people had good bottles but I think it’s too risky to take the chance and buy it if it might come faded :( and yes for sure!! I love that ILNP has a pretty regular release schedule, and no LE polishes/collections! 🙌🏼

Really pretty haul! So glad you finally got your Fata Morgana colors!! If you like soft colors in the metallic flakie formula I would recommend Mila it is quite unique and if you like purples I was really pleasantly surprised at how beautiful Purple Plasma was. It is more of a summer color, though.💜

I do liked the ILNP foil metallic formula. I have a couple, including a Black Friday purchase of Good as Gold from the Golden Hour collection. They seem to have more base color than HT.

Wonderful video and comparisons, as always! Lilac Bridges hops on and off my wishlist quit often but this may have convinced me to pick it up. Older ILNP favs for me would be Sandy Baby (2016) and Better Days (no idea on release date). I would repurchase either of these if I ever ran out, they are some of my favorites in my whole collection of polishes.
I was wondering if you did a comparison between Set Sail and Cirque’s Sapphire? I imagined it would be a bit like the Vanity and Amethyst comparison, similar color but with slightly different sparkle?

Carrie, Joy, and Daydreamer are def. on my loooong ILNP wishlisht, but thanks to your great comparisons, I now see some dupes for the Cirque's Facets I missed so...here I go putting more polishes on the list 😂If it's pinks/purples you like have you tried Dream Girl? I'm not the biggest linear holo fan (scatter all the way) but that one gleams and shifts even in low/poor light. I love it. I FINALLY got Fairy Dust and Pixie Party 🧚🏽♀after lusting for months by way of combining points and a coupon, basically got one polish free --- oh, that's the other great thing about them is their rewards! 🥰

Recently had a mini haul of ILNP to get a few spring shades and round out what I was missing from the resort collection (currently sporting a gradient of Snowstorm and Aspen with ❄️ stamping!) after someone convinced me! 😜 I wanted to try and hold out to see if they were gonna do a Valentine’s Day release but alas…self control wasn’t there 😅
ahh how fun! i was sooo happy lol!! 🥹 it still makes me wonder how they would actually compare, like some people mentioned their Fata Morgana is still purple and wasn’t faded like mine. I thinkk Cirque’s has more of a holo sparkle, but I feel like I kind of saw it in ILNP too! and yeahh I really had the Dreamscape set on my wishlist for a while but I’ve heard mixed reviews about the formulas.. I definitely think it’ll still be worth trying, worst case scenario if you aren’t happy, i’m sure ILNP would refund you or send a replacement!
I purchased Bloodline based on another of your videos. Excited to try it! I enjoyed Iconic as a pretty holiday gold and enjoyed Sled Day too. Prancer is a great neutral. I wore it over Thanksgiving because I did much cooking and needed something that could take a beating and still look nice. My last purchased and yet to try is Aspen. Oh, and I bought and love Ballet Slipper. It looks a bit warmer and more neutral than a lot of the photos I’ve seen but it’s pretty. Definitely keeping an eye on this brand.

I'm surprised you needed more than 2 coats for Set Sail! I have the whole At Sea collection and I love Set Sail (and pssst,Carried Away in the collection is a ... PERIWINKLE ... color). I still think you would really enjoy Sandcastle from ILNP...a lovely taupe. It's not "exciting" compared to some of the punchier colors you got, but Sandcastle is handsdown my favorite neutral. Lilac Bridges in interesting!
