- Gibson says "A Revolutionary Take on the Classic Jumbo".
I say "A cool (but not revolutionary) take".
Big jumbo sound with a Sitka top and walnut back and sides - so it's got that J200-esque brightness even without maple.
As much as my traditionalist sensibility doesn't want to like Gibson's "Player Port", it really does what it's intended to do and makes for a nice listening experience for the player.
Guitar is put together nicely and is reasonably priced for a guitar made in the USA these days. Nice work Gibson.

For Gibson’s entry level series, they sound pretty good! Even when I don’t have a particular interest in a guitar, I still love to listen to you play. The playing styles you use for your demos are very relaxing….
Very nice sounding guitar!
So tempted to hit buy button now thanks 👍🏾🎸
Dad gum, that IS a jumbo! Sounds good!
Amazing guitar, it is well build it?
I actually like that quite a bit. I think if I had to buy a "modern" Gibson acoustic, out of all the ones I've heard this would be the one. But there's still too much brass in the treble, and it's still overpriced. I doubt I'll ever buy a Gibson, because I will NOT pay them a premium for stuff that a completely different company with the same name did 75 years ago.🤷♂
Cutaway is the worst,is no necessari in jumbos,i like the guitar,is better than sj-200 stuidio?
what kind of strings that you have on
Sounds good...not a fan of the looks tho.
I wish this didn't have a cutaway, and I think it would look better with different inlays.
Not bad, but not for $2000.00 better options out there
Again listened.. sounds super cold... Epiphone sounds better.
