Great sounding axe and an underappreciated offering in Gibson's current lineup, IMHO. Great tone and projection from a compact, comfortable guitar. Sitka top, mahogany back and sides, 24.75" scale.

To me this LG2 sounds better than the more expensive custom LG2 Historic Banner that has the Adi Top. The sitka top on this brings out a nice warm, played in tone.
Maybe the only acoustic that’s still on my wish list because of its unique sound. I love this little thing. ❤

I have both but the J-45 is a far better instrument over all, I promise!

compared to a standard slim taper neck..It's chunky and takes some getting use to. I prefer a slim taper!
