all I see are people saying "Wukong and Rhino are better" yet fail to realize that that way of thinking is why DE nerfs everything and why everyone is under the assumption that variety doesn't exist when it does but nobody wants to leave their beloved metas behind
IKRR!!??? these idiots always claims that Wukong does the best for everything but he's just a jack of all trades. he's a master of none. heck even equinox with the Duality augment beats the Wuclone in terms of damage boost.
I think an index run would be far better with chroma if you tank it's a lot better
nice build, i did it without the void ability and i was struggling with damage by the second index, so i made my exalted pistols radiation damage and that did the trick
This is the first video I see for the index and u opened my eyes, like not picking up the shiny stuff!? Makes sense when I think about it, I’ll try this out and switch to PT when I have all the necessities to solo it in less than 5 mins
never thought of this...i've been using a rhino with steel skin (this way i dont really care about energy and if i need to recast i just cash in before doing so) and an arca plasmor modded for rad. i dont usually need to farm creds since selling my overabundance of mods and useless items usually works in a pinch and i just use the creds i get by doing the normal mission stuff... but with these tips i might give it a go just so i can update some of my builds. ty for the good work!

If you're not in a clan, just use earth's relay to enter the index.
I don't have a good Solo Index build for Warframe but the best I got is a high Duration Vauban build and a good gun. Throwing Tether Coils on Walls pretty much neutralizes all enemies passing through. If you also put a Flechette orb nearby you can basically see if you've caught enemies through walls by the damage counters. I call it my Index Fishing.
As a player with 1 billion credits i tried index, profit taker and railjack thousand of times to see what is the fastest way to get credit and profit taker won over every method i tried.
You can solo profit taker in 2-3 min and also you can get buff from the kavat when in index you can't. so i even got 16 mil credits in one run i did. Also at least for me PT is more fun.
Me and a clan member of mine went through the grind of getting up to 150 billion credits back in 2017-2018 only for DE to change the visual credit cap to 999,999,999 (1,000,000,000 when you’re trading) in the baruuk/profit taker update. So Now we haven’t known how many credits we have exactly for over4 years. I guess my advice to you or anyone would be to not go over 1 billion credits because it would be pointless.

PT is more effective but as stated in the video it's waaaay less accessible than the Index.
What's your setup for doing PT in 3 minutes? That fight is still pain for me.
I would argue that Octavia, especially for a Solo player is much better, as her Mallet scales well in Index. Also requiring a much lower Mod investment, she has been my go to and since then have never worried about Credits.
I only use Rhino (Prime). Even with just the normal version, a somewhat decent mod setup and weapon (Fulmin is great) you can easily solo the lowest Index.
Also, Rhino is easy to farm...Octavia, well 😅
The thiing with Octavia is you won't get enough kills fast enough to qualify for credits. I just tested it out and with having the full setup on the floor the entire time I only got 16 kills. Plenty of enemiies won't even walk into the circle, theyre just shooting at from from a distance, which does strengthen it, but in a game type where kill numbers are the game that's just not going to cut it.
@@Shadow72eapers That tends to happen in two instances, either the AI's pathing or agro breaks, in which case move the mallet from either your or their goal to the corridor in the middle of the map. Their agro resets upon respawning (most of the time).
The other instance is if you play too passively and expect the game to play itself with minimal input. If you want to play her passively, grab a mate and use two Octavia's.
Also make sure to get the "snow base" tileset. If you load Index from a relay you're guaranteed to get it everytime.
@@ImpressionInTheMaking Yeah I think you’re right, I also added a bunch more range which I think will help, and as long as I keep up my energy I can afford to constantly cast my 1/3/4 at different spots where enemies are gathering, rather than staying in one spot.
There is one nice thing about profit taker a drop stuff for standing but it also drops even more stuff for like if you want to exchange for decorations where the index is really only good for credits and the other one will also get you Platinum because you can sell those mods so I would actually argue profit-taker is probably the better of the two just because it drops more things that are useful however if you're clearly just looking for credits then yeah if you're in a bind I'd say index all the way
Another suggestion for solo index runs (trick):
1) Get Equinox (with Duality mod) or Wukong (a little bit worse) - twin will dmg
2) Kuva Khom rad or phantasma
3) Go to the side where u deposit the coins (enemies spawn in the back of the host - use this in your favor)
4) Let your twin kill and your spectres deposit the coins (don't take any)
5) This method is better than PT o consoles cuz 2x more points from spectres
6) Izi
I just use Revenant with the glaive prime. Kills very easily, no energy issues, and functionally immortal 👍

i use Khora with Glaive Prime bc Khora is the only one that can bring a pet into this mission…with a Fetch mod i dont need to come close to pick up that points…always top scores top kills…
For me the funnest credit farm is the mid tier index with banshee and the nataruk. Spam sonar and watch the AI slaughter one another. The sheer volume of tik taks that drop if the AI doesn't crud out is absolutely insane. You could easily run the lower difficulty if you want to, just not high index due to the amount taking longer to build up. It's faster to get 50 before you notice than 100. Banshee being squishy isn't a problem because operator with enough setup can garuntee safety when you actually yoink the spoils of your slaughter from enemies and allies. NW bow is just stupid good overall and hits stupid numbers if you hit weak points. I went on for around ... idk 2.5 mill once. Had a few rounds that yous have 100+ index points in play.
PS, obviously thos is solo.

@@JTxTX if you've used the bow then you'd know how busted it is as a weapon. Hitting a few billion damage kills just about anything in game.

definitely good, but i enjoy running my equinox prime with the duality augment more than running back and forth for energy. just run equinox with the duality mod (300 % damage) on your other half. just pick up a weapon with good dmg, crit and shooting speed (your other half will use the weapon you wielded while casting them) without being able to use galvanized mods and then if you want to additionally also kill enemies you can put galvanized mods etc. on another weapon you will use to kill some more enemies. your other half is good enough to kill all the enemies in the index while and you can just chill at your spot. btw with the energy regen aura you don't even have to run towards the energy orb over and over again. you can energizing dash on top with zenurik cause sometimes your energy stop regenating energy with the aura, but you could also just get into your operator from time to time. you can also use equinox in a team composition. there is also a wukong build with their celestial twin though the dmg from the duality mod is higher. the umbral "twin" from excalibur is kinda dumb imo though :)
Equinox is underrated in index with something like the Detron.

I once was a noob who mained Equinox with a Zarr... I was was absolutely blown away how many more kills I was getting than all the Mesa's etc.
I'm deciding how I wanna update my comfy index method, and you've reminded me why I should consider duality, wonder what helminth would make it most comfy.
(Greedy Pull works on the points btw., in case you're doing a strat where that's good, I used Mag for a while too but energy is tight)
@@Gnurklesquimp2 well yeah i have used equinox with duality pretty often while farming the index. the only thing you have to remember is starting the mission either from a planet or your dojo to pretty much guarantee the better map. you definitely have to like the passive index runs though. from time to time i switch things up by doing index runs with other ppl or using a different warframe, but almost always im running duality equinox.
@@Mytea1 With the Helminth there's another load of great setups and variations, but nothing quite surpassed this one for me yet. In squads I used to have more of an efficiency build with radar stacking, so I could reposition the clone easily and quickly. That was probably the main difference between me and the Mesa's I ended up with, my eyes were glued to the minimap.
That worked quite well in the other map too, I'd position them up high where they had tons of lines of sight and just made rounds to mop up the rest. Was a pain for the Rhino etc. to locate points, though, that's what prompted me to try greedy pull as a point carrier.
That's also when faction gas was OP... good times.

Personally I wish like during the first three days of tennocon they would have all of them active for 3 days and then do like one of them active for like 3 days rotating through all of them during Christmas and then just like they appear randomly one at a time for 3 days just random weekends out of the year cuz in all honestly I've been playing for several years and it doesn't feel like they give him out like they used to anymore

If you have a Tenet Arca Plasmor built for Toxin+Rad+Magnetic, it one shots everything there without any buff. Throw in Roar or Xata's whisper and its just overkill.
Also helps a lot to get a Credits Blessing on Top of Credit booster.

Remember when index first came out and a mate had just started and was desperate for credits. Did a couple games and he was very happy. I used the MIGHTY SEER
Potatoless zero forma Wukong+phantasma is WAAAAY better. Dojo frame and market weapon. Reliable carrier, faster killer, no modding needed, turn at 15 and profit.
Can also do something similar with Titania, or at least that's what I've seen.
Does smeeta with charm and Chroma work for index?
Wukong might be even better - fast (2nd ability), good survivability (heals, avoid death 3 times) and he has a specter aimbot that does 2x more damage than you! And cherry on top - Wukong is much easier to get than Mesa!
Mesa does the job just fine. hell, even Equinox can deal more damage with her twin than wuclone.

not really he's a glass cannon because you have to be outside of the rift to get kills and pickup the points so it kind of makes it tedious to use him

Just use Titania. she is bar far the best warframe for Index. you dont need the best mods. just dont collect to much points. just fly from energy point to energy point while killing enemys and use the portal. - repeat and ez money
WISP + Nataruk/Sobek and jump n' kill all the time. This confuses bots a lot.
imagine showing mesa build with easy to get mods for low player but running her with arcane energize XDD

TL;DR: Profit Taker + Cred Booster + MR30 Blessing + Smeeta Charm + Chroma Effigy = fastest cred farming in the game
If you don't have a friend to play chroma or someone to speedrun profit taker, learn to do so, and or utilize railjack (easy 1 mil creds per run on Veil Grineer missions) or just stick with Index.
I can reliably solo PT less than 2 minutes, and make sure I bring three friends as Chromas's, since I solo normally with Mirage.
Edit: Friend has 999,999,999 from over 3k Profit Taker runs and is a speedrunner, it isnt hard to get max creds, but time consuming.

its much better much fun and you can solo it with chroma if you like to

@@jlohry H-2 Cloud or R-9 Cloud, just have a cred booster on, and you should be earning about 1 mil per run, mileage varies, also have a smeeta on. Slower than PT but faster than Index. Best to have Seeker Volley, Blackout Pulse, and Shatter Burst as Attack Avionics (mods) for your Plexus.

also for solo profit taker chroma is only good for credit buff. To kill super fast use saryn/volt

what's the deal with xatas whisper? is there a hidden effect for it?
The void bubble it creates around enemies directs any projectiles that hit it towards center mass. Aim just above it, and you get headshots, if you care about those.
Not to mention, it also boosts damage a decent amount.
@@Enenra138 ah that bubble is news to me i thought it was just a damage boost which can't be resisted, i'm not sure if any enemy does resist void?
@@leedodgson3786 none that I know of. It doesn't damage Eidolon shields, but I have yet to dislike having it on my Titania, whether in open world or Steel Path. The bubble is kind of hard to see, since it's a really dark green.
It doesn't have a much of a boost as Eclipse, but it does have a lower cost and higher duration than Roar. Out of the three, I'm pretty sure Xata's is the lowest damage buff out of the three.
actually the headshot effect can be also gained through throwing the scourge weapon...it will create bullet attrators every few seconds on enemy heads in range for 20s and if u use a secondary or exalted weapon u dont need ur primary to kill enemies...it s a weapon obtainable through biolab

Tbh, just a Rhino with Kuva Zarr is enough. I can do 3 runs in just 12 minutes (max) because of bonus you get from stacking points.

Camping with Wukong with the tenant Flux is faster. They spawn behind you and your clone shoots them just as fast and without worrying about energy and chasing them down.
