Just as a tip, if you're using a phantasma, or similair weapons who mostly rely on status DoT effects, its smarter to use roar instead of eclipse. Roar has the advantage of counting as a bane mod, meaning it double dips with the DoT dmg. As an example: If a Weapon did 100 dmg, with a bane mod its status effects will do 225 dmg and with roar ontop of that its status effects will do 625 dmg. Meanwhile eclipse, at its highest possible light standing would double ur direct damage, as in if ur weapon did 225 through status effects it would do 450 with eclipse.
Roar is additive to bane mods not multiplicative
Also, Excalibur umbra deactivates helminth abilities
faction mods are applied twice on proc dmg and roar is additive to it thats why its is more preferred on slash/heat/electricity/toxin/gas builds as it has higher scaling than eclipse

Edit: no one worry about any helminth. i just grabbed my excal umbra, and my phantasm p build that I already had on it, then just jumped in the mission. super simple.
do you not need to subsume eclipse?
i just did 2 hour long runs back to back without eclipse on it and it works very well, just dont get stuck outside of the spot if you go to pick anything up

For the aura with Coaction Drift, it works like so: 18% + 15% (of 18) = 20.7% armor reduction

it doesnt functioally work like that though. because with teh change to how armor reduction the 20.7+80% from corrosive procs would remove armor. and it doesnt
@@MrBlackCracker100that's because corrosive and heat procs do not remove total armour, but current (aka remaining) armour. The math and mods work out
Isn't the self aura buff 15% plus another 15%?
no, it's worded like that because it used to just say 15% to allies while it gave 15% to both you and your allies, just stated like that for clarification purposes@@Raikos100

Highly suggest magus repair on the operator as umbra likes to not exist for long.

The way to get magus repair ftp is to get fortuna to rank 5 so you can gain access to the back room with little duck then get little duck up to rank 5 and farm her daily standing

still works 02/04/2024! sadly after the Mirage rework to his ability Eclipse my Umbra doesnt increase damage anymore
yeah because have to be a long press and Umbra is dumb in doint for it self hahhaa. i try roar after Mirage rewark and nothing. just less dmg. but still work.

I keep getting afk penalty and lose out all the credits from index, but only getting bonus from boosters. What am I doing wrong, since I keep transference back and forth every 20-30 sec...

How long can one stay before innefficincies occur? As in, where it starts being substantially hard to kill enemies, in which case its better to restart.
I was looking at this too, but if u play index before you know that it’s already quite difficult by round 4 so I’m assuming the spectors on his team are matching the enemy lvl but he didn’t look like he was struggling at that 1hr 30min mark 🤷🏻♂️
I'm barely endgame and barely have the mods level to max when I tried to beam the ai they took no dmg but when I let the frame do it he melted them I was at round 5

This afk area has been patched they basically added an invisible wall in front of the area you jumped down into but there's still some afk spots
The spectors end up stuck in spawn and not moving to pick up points
Fixed a lack of collision in certain areas of the Corpus-Outpost Index Arena. - As of Dante Unbound update, this no longer works.
I tried this with a felarx but it ran out of ammo in first round lmao im guessing phantasma is required
Im having an issue where the NPCs aren’t banking the points fast enough and the timer is going down to 0 any way to fix this

Umbra Excalibur will undue all buffs and helmenth abilities when you go to opperaror mode or drifter
Well the farm still completely works doesn't it? I don't think that small of a thing really hinders the performance of this farm as shown by the RUclipsr.

umbra uses the subsume skill himself and it stays active on him whilst he is out when you go back into umbra it turns off
What is the ephemera called
I like to run PT, 2 minute run for 750k with a kavat possibility to then it into 1.4mil, + you get alot of standing for fortuna aswell, so it earns you a little plat buck on the side
Edit; 3 min run solo, but still very very nice considdering all the possible extra's
For an average player, PT takes 10 mins to bounty failed. Index with a Titania is much easier.
@@krishanuphukan80 well, yea, if you go in without the right build then yes it'll take a long time, but thats why you need a certain build to for instance oneshot the legs, clear the pylons really fast, clear shields etc.
Its not that hard if you practise it a bit, + its way more rewarding (and im saying this, but you dont even need to do it solo)
@@Daveje90 I'm saying that very very few people know how that fight actually works. Even fewer know that right build. For normal players, Profit Taker actually feels like a boss fight. For people with that perfect build, he's nothing.
How do you get 750k per run? PT only drops 125k without any buffs, I don’t see how that can bump up to 750k

Some kind of bug is happening to me, when I finish the mission it says that I won 5 million, but I receive 3 million, does anyone know what it could be?
the game dectected you are afk, that why you have to change to opertator every 20 seconds or less
Around 2nd or 3rd round, the bots just stops turning in points and just run in circles on the other side of the map until time runs out.
they shouldn't be doing that you are using operator and not drifter and standing in that spot right? i just ran this again literally 10 minutes ago and I'm on round 4 and it's still going
unless u are using the wrong specters the ideal ones are volt frost ember -- wukong makes it slow, ivara also makes it slow - if u get mag just instant reset
had the same issue my volt and frost spectres are running around in a circle with hundreds of points
@@Nnnnx1 btw i just saw this in my run,, and it is actually the turret causing this. it is invulnerable so the specters are stuck there fighting it. idk whats a good fix but for me i would just bank the points myself after a set amount of time has passed, say every 7 or so minutes
I also get this issue a lot. It's like either my team's AI fails or both teams AI fails. I think there's code written into the AI where the NPCs follow, and sometimes you get two NPCs on follow that just kind of orbit each other, because they're both following each other. I've had a few matches where, on the map, I could see two of my guys running around a 3rd stationary guy and the opposition had two lots of two guys orbiting each other. This seems to happen quite often. What never happens is the opposition team breaks and my team starts playing properly, it's either just my team that glitches or both teams. The only way to beat this is to just keep running matches until you get a run where both teams don't glitch; that's when you get the credits.
I have a question here
when I finish the mission and get 11m credit but actually my credit only went up from 7.5 m to 14.9m I only get +7.4m not 11m where is that 3.6m go?
sometimes its the game not recognising the correct amount it just vanishes into thin air

Ivara is good, banks a lot and dies reasonably. Wukong is the worst, in every single run I did he didn't bank a single point (he made some kills, but also died quite some times)

drifter is taller and you can't see through the floor with him as well it can cause umbra to kneel or for the run to completely tank in my own testing
Drifter blocks the umbras line of sight. He stops firing if its drifter.

Set a script to just press 5 every 18 secs

If you do anything like automating an input then you should use a random number between a range to make it inconsistent and not perfect to the millisecond. Something like 15-22 seconds. Can even add random milliseconds to make it more human like.

Before you could do that with Wukong and Kuva Zarr, but oh well they ruined the fun

Maybe I missed this bit of the video, but how is ammo on this? Do enemies tend to die on top of you and drop ammo for sustain?
They did fix how specters use bows at some point, but idk if Nataruk would be able to shoot without colliding before hitting an enemy anyway.
It's also just not as fast at killing with that, unless enemies happen to be too far for Phantasma. Do specters still have the bug where they only need to reload a single round of the Zarr? If that applies to Felarx as well, that might be a strong choice too.
the phantasma has unlimited ammo whilst umbra uses it himself so ammo is no problem it's a completely let umbra do everything method so you don't need to worry about anything
@@Nnnnx1 Ooh! I still always use Duality for this kinda stuff and we were hit with a specter ammo consumption nerf a while ago, good to hear Umbra kept this benefit

when excalibur umbra uses it it doesn't take away from the ammo so it's not losing any ammo unless you yourself use it

He uses them himself if u activate it ur self then he will deactivate it but he will use the abilities himself and that works for this method

That nice too, but try to get carried in pt is better. There are a lot speedtu ners where you just need to stand there and press 4 on chroma once hes done in under 2 mins

confimed still working 2/15/2024. make sure u have the right spectres in ur game as he mentions mag and wukong will ruin the run.
i dont have problems whit mag specter i am a index main player Wukong never pick up point or bank hy only make kills amd Ivara pick up points but make never kills i know a lot about credits farming mag its not a big problem only restart if you have wukong and ivara specter inside your index round also always start from your dojo and go solo its the fastest way unless you got a sqaud of 4 players that know how it works and no no one knows how it works o see everyone do it every time WRONG ! you need one guy defend your Goal 3 players need to make kills and let the enemey take the points kil them take all points and than just DIE ! And let them take the point again before killing them pick up and die because if you work like that than you got after a few rounds thousand of points laying on the ground than you can skip Around 10 rounds easy

I have an idea to get the whole squad to afk with umbra with a variety of different primarys for each member that'll melt the corpus in the index🧐
But then there will be no one to bank the points xd

it's optional but it does help a lot to speed up rounds
Roar or possibly nourish works, but certainly i would prioritize the highest damage ability

Couldn't you use Arcane Nullifier instead of Efficiency to counter Mag? That way you wouldn't have to reset as often? Sure you lose a little duration but it's really not that much.
nope either way mag on your team will cast bubbles and eventually bug you and everyone else out it's just significantly easier to not have to deal with mag

ice is essential i believe and roar may work give it a try and let me know not completely sure
@@Nnnnx1roar acts like a faction mod, eclipse acts like a +weapon damage mod (serration, point blank, etc.) so I believe with that high of strength, roar would be better

Any beam weapon will do. Umbra doesnt use beam weapon ammo. Tenet cycron, nukor, synapse, vermisplicer, etc.

@@Twice_Marvel among all the weapons, the best one is phantasma with riven, phantasma prime without riven. Because it deals a shat ton of status procs with absurd amount of multishots. Damage scales a lot so it is useful even after 10 rounds.
Just get it and stop looking for alternatives.

total eclipse gives it to the other players in this case you are solo and umbra casts it on himself
